This looks very much like the Microsoft buses that toured from school to school a couple years back, but much larger and much more stationary.

I'm pretty sure a CS degree isn't required to realize that buildings are in fact immobile, and larger than buses.

Yes, psychosis.com was truly the measure of Cinege's worth. I've known Dave personally "in the real world", and can attest to his rabid beliefs. While I cannot say I *ever* personally liked the man, I can say wholeheartedly that he is among one of the few persons that I have come to detest and hold in immeasurable contempt.

On June 11, 2001 the life of Timothy McVeigh, the infamous and despised Oklahoma City bomber, was brought to an end. While the death of even this human being is not a cause for celebration, the illustrious Mr. Cinege posted on his site a grand tribute to this "hero of the American people". Words cannot express the loathing I have for this person.

I have tried and failed to find pity in my heart for so miserable a creature. I hope that he may someday find peace, but I won't be holding my breath.

Well, its not exactly a walk in the park, but Geforce 2MX's surely work. First you'll need XFree85 4.0x. Then you'll need to visit NVIDIA's ftp site for the drivers (RPM or tarball, your choice). Its all fairly well documented, though if you run into trouble, #nvidia on irc.openprojects.net should be able to point you in the right direction.

*disclaimer* I am an op on #linuxhelp.

The "infamous rtfm line" would not need to be stated if more people would take the time to actually read the available documentation.

Were a newbie to come to our channel with a question that is covered in a howto/readme/man page, our first question would be "Did you read the h/r/m?" If the answer was yes, we would try to help the person out starting from where it was that the h/r/m confused them.

It would be an entirely different thing if someone were to come to the channel and announce that after reading a section of a h/r/m they were still stuck with their problem.

If you have a specific question ("Why can't I connect to the internet" is *not* specific), ask it and I assure you that someone will provide you with an answer.

ESR stated in his Hacker-HOWTO FAQ "No one should have to solve a problem twice." Why is it necessary for us to regurgitate the plain and simple steps already outlined for you?

The howtos and man pages were written for a reason, and the fact that most people cannot be bothered to read them is an insult to the members of the community who spent the time writing them. D-side @ #linuxhelp
