So when normal attempts at bringing a problem to light fail because they are to lazy to fix what is found he should just drop it till someone with malicious intent finds it and then start screaming "I TOLD YOU SO!!!". Great idea, I'm sure that would console everyone who was hurt or lost friends and family because of the problem. Pardon him for not wanting people to get hurt first.

Anyways. You do have to give it to them, they will improvise when they need to. It has happened in every long-term conflict that the US has been involved in. Soldiers will come up with their own small was to thwart the enemy.

Okay walking animations and trees. Maybe we will see textures that are generated on the fly so we don't have to look at repeating textures. That is what we are talking about with procedural synthesis. Not simplethings like walking animations. I want to see a city built with it, I want a game where all the cities are different between every players game. Then I will admit that the industry use it for a lot of things.

This may be a gameplay beta not a bug hunt beta. Bungie might be looking for a few things like crash bugs but that they indicated gameplay was the focus.

Im going on the "this game is perfect, besy game ever you disagree you need to die" style fanboys. Not the man this game is fun to play fan.

No, you don't want people who hate the game to sign up. You want the people who were like "Well darn, I have work tommorow so i need to sleep instead of staying up and trying to get a sign up", because the page was so overloaded with people it took an hour or so to get a sign up. You want the fans who don't focus their lives around the game.

Make the worst beta testers. I hope to go bungie looks at the people who signed up near the middle first. They are more likely to give honest feed back about what is wrong with the game.

Can you please provide data that backs up your claim of lives saved? I mean really, where has a gun ban caused a long term decrease in violence. More specifically where has it reduced things like crimes of passion and first time offenses involving guns?

It doesn't, premeditated murders do not decrease. Crimes involving firearms sold illegally do not decrease because the law does not affect the illegal sales of firearms, it doesn't stop criminals who can't get a gun legally from getting one. It might cause a short term decrease but in the end it only removes guns from the law abiding citizens.
