Haha. Well, the aura thing has given you a fun story to tell.

In learning programming, I've had the benefits of an in-home computer for most of my life, a very good teacher for a few years in middle school(I was essentially free to learn what I pleased, and I ended up with my own computer there even. Though, I was already maintaining all the computers.), and the internet(along with the helpful people like yourself on it).

And, may circumstances favor the fulfillment of your desires("Good luck" ;) ). It's nice to talk to someone who's relaxed and clear-headed. It often seems people get caught up in their stress.

Nice about the auras... That's a bit like when Jim Morrison was yelling something about astrology at a show; he had a bunch of the girls in the audience screaming for his attentiong. Then, he mentioned that he thought it was BS. Of course, different but still reminiscent.

Well, I guess I don't count. But, I'm 16. Though, it's not as if I only know C. I know C++, Java, Perl, PHP, QBasic, javascript, and some other minor scripting languages(and (X)HTML and CSS(2,3) though not really programming languages).

And, I don't like Java, despite having taken two years of "Advanced Placement Computer Science"(which uses Java) and scoring 5/5 on both exams.

I'm known to say some rather odd things in response to questions(ie not related at all, or at least apparently), so that passed that part off pretty well. I eventually added counters for different people and the different keywords w/ probabilities of the messages based on those... It got pretty complicated. Then, my primary use of IRC went away and I forgot to back it up in a format...

Power generation isn't the only thing which needs to be considered. There's also power storage and conveyance: batteries vs. gas tanks; power lines vs. gas trucks; etc. I think the advantage goes to gas for the time being. To be convinced, I would need a significantly more detailed study on all the aspects of the proposed power system. Though, I guess it doesn't really matter how it's decided if whatever decision is going to be forced by the government. (And, in case you wonder, no, I don't agree that the government should control/regulate business, even in the realm of "public utilities").

I don't see why a turbine power and a electrical outlet power are mutually exclusive. I don't think the electronics for a power plug take up much space or are very expensive, and they already can use two different power sources(battery and outlet) so that wouldn't be a problem.

Also, I'm considering a plug that has the AC to DC transformer on it, not in the computer(as most do AFAIK).

Also, even if that isn't economical/useful/etc, it seems that quite a number of people are seriously considering using it. Just because you don't find it convenient, doesn't mean it isn't convenient for others.

I knew that I had it for a reason, but it was a long time before I could figure out what it was and that I had intended to eat it. Though, that time I only actually came close to recognizing it. So, when I realized I had intended to eat it, I was still confused... Just went to sleep.

Also, your description of the metastable fugue state is exactly what happens to me sometimes when I wake up. But, my speech isn't impaired(so far as I've been told) and people only figure it out after I say/do some really weird stuff(growling, walking on tables, being generally irrational, etc).
