    One million for a wearable power source? Sounds a lot to me. I mean, they're probably going to want more than one. A rough calculation puts the cost of even one hundred such devices at $100,000,000. Can the DoD afford that?

    Forget the content. What about the site? The new AJAXing has given ZERO benefit whilst at the same time ensuring that I have to use a different browser to use it (it hangs Camino 60% of the time).

    YES. There is zero excuse for this. I would suspend the child for this behaviour, and add extra time for filming it. This has nothing to do with YRO or anyone else's. It's to do with the rights of the teacher. Why are slashdotters (and society in general) so accepting of this kind of behaviour? I wouldn't expect anyone to work under those conditions. The school I went to (not long ago) would have done something similar.

    I for one welcome this technology if it's able to decide that I'm not going to be influenced by any advertising, I'm not going to take out another credit policy, buy penny shares or anything else. The day that a company decides that I'm not worth spending advertising dollars on (and leave me in peace) will be the day that I re-enable my cookies.
