Thanks guys, in reply to the AC below first. Yes the sensor bar did get moved form top to bottom a few months ago. I have moved 3 times and used 3 different TV's (32" CRT, 22" LCD, 42" Plasma). Maybe the Wireless sensor bar may be worth a try, cheers for the tip.
The Wii remote accuracy is not the best but not broken. There seems to be limitations on the motions of the wiimote, motion speed etc. The above mentioned titles, parent is correct they work really well however I sometimes have issue with the nunchuck motion sensor Metroid Prime 3.
However I have issues with the pointer functionality on how far it is from the screen. When I am about 2 meters away from the sensor bar it doesn't work (I have 4 Wii remotes and they all do this). Has anyone else had that issue?
Hard drives have come down in the past few years massivly, yes quality ones too. Microsoft is just overcharging because they are the only supplier of 360 hard drives rather than making them more open like Sony do. I am sure if the actual drive makers (Segate, Maxtor, Western Digital) were able to, they would be releasing 500Gb Drives for $75. This is a case of corporate greed an nothing more.
Oh and if Microsoft seriously did rigorous quality testing and cared about up front quality we wouldn't have had the RRoD plauging every 360 owner I know.
RE4 sucks on PC. The Gamecube RE4 was actually quite good, handled well.
Your issue seems to be you expect RE4 and Metroid Prime to be FPS games... news flash they aint. Metroid has never been a first person shooter, its just a Metroid game with a first person view. RE4 is a 3rd person action game.
Halo's claim to fame are 2 things 1) The rebounding health meter and 2) making it simple for non-hardcore gamers to pretend to be hardcore gamers. Goldeneye set the standard for console shooters, Halo raised the bar (simplicity).
Consoles and PC's give different experiences and you just judge that if a game doesn't give you the PC experience it therefore sucks... you should be modded flamebait.

I requested them to shut down my eBay account in protest a month ago. eBay rationalized this by saying they were acting in the interests of consumers despite consumers said very clear they were against this.
This was about monopoly and eBay getting paid twice per transaction (more money for them). They spammed me MANY times trying to say "this is for your own good". I had customer representatives hassling me all the time when I requested my account be closed and they were going "you can sign up to paypal" and I said "I dont want a paypal account" and after 5 repeated attempts, they still havent shut it down but say "its in the process of being shut down"
The GPL mandates that changes to the code must be GPL'd too. So any bug fixes, performance enhancments or new features are avaliable to not just the forked project but the origional project too. The CDDL is derived from the Mozilla license which was diliberatly GPL2 incompatable however there people disagreeing on weather or not it is compatible with GPL3.
Reason I flagged parent as troll was not about the CDDL, that at least prevents code from being slipped into propietry applications. BSD license has no such restrictions and people can just copy the code and not give anything back, keep the big fixes, enchancments and improvements e.g Microsoft has quite a bit of BSD networking code in Windows, have they given any code improvments back? What about OS X? They are not required to have the Darwin kernel to be open, they just do it because the community model works
As for the Microsoft "open" licenses? Give me a break. This guy is trolling, almost twitter style
