Using it now will be futile, as the attack is going to be talked about on the phone lines extensively for awhile. Echelon would be hitting keywords every couple of seconds at the very least, unless they're looking for words in certain languages.
The anchor on MSNBC right now looks like he can barely contain his laughter as he smiles his way through the recap of yesterday's news. The woman anchor on CNN last night did the same thing. The shithead ABC reporters were shoving their microphones in little kids' (like 6 or 7 years old) faces last night and asking them how they felt after they watched the WTC fall from their classroom windows. How do you *think* they felt, you worthless piece of shit?
Maybe I'm being slow, but how does that show otherwise?
He said this:
On top of that, with the people on board, the likely fact is that they probably didnt know what was going to happen. If I thought I was going to be okay and things would just work out ("I am not going to kill anyone of you, its only money" would convince me to sit down and ride it out - right into a building) then would I even consider being heroic? No.
The calls from the two planes show that passengers on those two KNEW they were going to die, yet they failed to act (as far as we know...the one that crashed may very well have been because someone was struggling with the hijackers. If that's the case, that person(s) is a hero).
Except that calls from the planes show otherwise. One guy said the hijackers told passengers they had a bomb. The second plane had the woman who called her husband twice, and he relayed the information about the first plane, so she knew what was going to happen.
Based upon our specialist analysis, we have identified the following as potential suspects:
Osama bin Laden and Al-Qa'eda ("the Base")
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)
Saddam Hussein
The best way to make sure you have the right people is to take them all out. Every one of the useless motherfuckers.
The more info we get, the less this looks like another American militia job. But something strikes me as odd--doesn't bin Laden usually crow about his attacks after the fact? I haven't heard anything about him doing so tonight. Could it be him, or is it more likely to be another organization?

Once again, vague "predictions" from a fraud don't mean much when you consider the literally *thousands* of others he made which had absolutely no correlation with real life.
That's *in addition* to the other 8600 deaths you're mistakenly calculating happened today. Please take a statistics course or two before posting drivel like this again.
Haven't heard anything about that, but apparently in Indiana gas stations are engaging in pre-emptive price-gouging with prices around $3.00 per gallon. Bloodsucking leeches.
You forgot the literally *thousands* of "predictions" by him that didn't come close to being fulfilled. No, people only remember the ones that vaguely resemble something that happens in the real world.
CNN just flashed something that said Bush would make a statement from a Louisianna airport for about half a second before it was replaced with "Bush landing at undisclosed location."
And why is it that you people always assume it is "Middle eastern/Islamic terrorists"? Remember Oklahoma City?
Probably because every time something big happens they fall over themselves to take resposibility. But I was thinking the same thing. The worst threat to our nation will probably come from within it.
It's hypocrisy that you USE slashdot then, since you have such strong feelings about banner ads.
Look it up. It would be hypocrisy for me to bitch about banner ads, then go ahead and click on them.
How do ads take away your "privacy"?
They don't. Did you have a point?
Oh wait you have a slashdot login don't you? Well then you GAVE AWAY your privacy so slashdot can contine to make money.
Yes, I *chose* to give Slashdot certain information. The real information they have about me is my email address, which I *chose* to give them. Still searching for that point?
Why do you feel you're entitled to go to a website but the site can't collect statistics about you? What happened to the idea of paying for a service? Or should slashdot be forced to operate at the owners personal expense for your amusement?
Not only am I not forcing Slashdot to do jack shit, but I've run a successful site for 4 years now out of my own pocket. But then, I was discussing Slashdot's hypocrisy on banner ads and web bugs. What are you discussing? Do you even know?

So what exactly do all you amateur numerologists claim it means? Maybe you can correlate it with the idiots who keep spouting about Nostrodamus.

My cable is out this morning. Thanks, AT&T Broadband! If I had cable modem service instead of DSL I wouldn't have heard about this until much later.
Thank you, Slashdot editors (Rob? I don't remember who posted the story), for posting this.

I fail to see a problem with this. If Windows really is the more innovative choice, consumers will vote with their pocketbooks, as it should be.
