Im sorry but anything that comes out of the mouth of Jimmy Carter is complete bull. The man spends his entire post presidential life trying to undermine the united states foreign policy, not just with our current administration, but every single one since he left office. He frequently speaks with and works actively to promote and encourage the well being and security of countries that have declared themselves enemies of the west and that of the United States. And not only that, but himself, and many others, including Clinton, are on the payroll of the U A E and are completely biased against any issue concerning islamic nations, since they have a personal financial gain from them gaining power.
Personally I dont like jews, but when it comes to Israel, i believe they should nuke palastine and iran and push THEM off into the ocean. I think this wall would be the best thing for their country and I have great respect for a people who live in such a dangerous area where everyone on every border wants to see you die.
I live in Florida also, But I've lived here a lot longer than 10 months. 10 YEARS ago, there were thriving businesses in the used music dept, there were at least 3 dedicated used only stores in my city alone. All of them are out of business now and the music shops that use to sell new and used, now will no longer buy used media. This is not because of a failing market or lack of sales, its from laws making such sales unprofitable.
that's because ink is stored in a vacuum and the OEM seals to contain that vacuum are always the best, because they are the first (not necessarily because they are better designed, if you use tape to hold something up, and you keep replacing that tape in the exact same spot, the additional tape will never hold as good as the first one)
Reman cartridges (which most off brands are) will usually leak either air or ink, mostly air, either way it wont last as long as the original usage of it.
Firefox has a kiosk mode, plus there are kiosk extensions. Try looking in about:config, lots of nice stuff there. Not allowing the website to control all the browsers functions is a GOOD thing. If you want your computers to be secure for multiple users, configure this on the client side, thats how it was designed to be done.
They really pushed it by mentioning adblock, but they totally lost their credibility when they mentioned PDF download, the only people who will EVER want to view a PDF in browser, are those who don't know there are other options.
And to top it off, when you didn't think site could lose any more karma, i see a link to another article
This article states that IE has bridged the gap in features and quality because a few copycat features they've implemented. So, computer world is on the do not visit these idiots list. I admit, i dont like firefox 2.0 as much as 1.5, but the only reason for that is I get a nasty memory leak when viewing tags that have way to much flash or js (fault of the website as much as firefox).
fortunately our government was founded that citizens are assumed any right not expressively forbidden.
And also fortunately, for the president, these rights are not given to people not citizens of this nation. Only basic human rights are afforded to all humans, and the right of trial is not a basic human right, its a basic citizens rights, which do not apply to the murderer's being held in guantamino.
I can't help but imagine that the very existence of this court order will in fact, make the video more popular than ever. These people don't seem to learn if you don't bring attention to something in this manner it usually will quietly fade and after a month, maybe 6 months, while it will still be available for the searching, it will be mostly forgotten.
Fortunetly for us Wii fans, the release date for the Wii is very shortly after the ps3. So while all those ps3 drooling kids try to find a ps3 and cannot find one, they will see a nice shiny Wii sitting next to that Sold out sticker, and Wii will get a huge marketing boost from shelf placement. Just from that simple fact because when christmas comes, the mom and dads trying to fullfill their kids console request are going to have to make a choice of getting them something nice or getting them nothing at all.
It is apparently ncessary that we push another amendment then. The only way to bypass our bribed judges is to actually change the constitution itself.
Unfortunetly I don't see this happening unless some bill that effects republican fund raising gets attached to a rider that they need line item veto in order to kill it.
It didn't add much to the serious at all, but I did enjoy the episode. I found it especially enjoyful and burst out into laughter when Claudia black went into the little farscape story.
Scientist have long ago created a fusion reactor, however fusion requires a great deal of energy to initiate and a great deal to keep going. Any reactors created so far have not created a substantial amount more energy than is needed to create the reaction. That is why we dont have a fusion power plant, fusion in our current methods of producing it is like using 20 batteries in conjuction to produce the power that simply using 22 batteries would give us.
Compared to fission its a horrible ratio, and todays fission reactors are much more advanced and safer than the ones in past that have had disasters.
Its hard to tell what direction your comment is based on, whether or not developers should use the beta to anticpate bugs or that they should code to w3 standards and just ignore ie7 bugs.
Well if its the latter then you may want to know that ie is one of the least standards complaint browser out there thats still in active development and in fact if you comfort to every w3 standard its almost gaurunteed to be broken in IE.
According to the law here in the US, a phone company or cable company cannot disconnect your service for refusal to pay attached services provided by 3 rd party companies. Now I don't really know if this DSL company is seperate company just billing thru your phone company or just a different department of your phone company you didnt mention that... however if its seperate company you can just pay your phone bill minus the DSL fee (down to the exact cent) and refuse to pay it. In the US again.. they can never disconect your phone services for not paying the 3rd party. Of course you might want to tell them your doing this and give them the option to faithly tell the 3rd party to go to hell, chances are they won't as most phone companies dont care, and according to US law while they don't have to take off the charges they disconnect you for them and in most cases can't even report it to the credit bureau. Now This is in United states and I can only guess if something similiar is in place for canada, alot of things are similiar but I'm afraid canadian bells and other monopolistic companies aren't held to the same standards if I remember some past stories on the issues.
If all else fails, tell your card company they are drawing under to give you a new account nbr, that will put a short stop to the reoccuring billing, pay a laywer $75(wild guess) to send a nasty gram and if that fails you could always complain to your equivlent of..I cant remember the name its a gov't panel that oversees municiple company fair practices.
As to the other replier It doesnt seem like you read that article. From the looks of it the US government was doing him a favor. He was in the US illegally and and to US law we had either 2 choices, hold him in jail or deport him to a country where he has legal residence. At that time it was only 1 Algeria, a country where he would be imprisoned on a charge that had a much more severe punishment than simply being detained. And he wasn't being held without reason, he was in fact an illegal alien.
Would you rather that he was deported to algeria and executed by government there? Would him being execute be more preferable to you? I imagine you would of wanted the US to let him roam the US freely while being here illegally. Don't think it would of been a good to US security to let a man who has not only flight experience, a muslim (albiet not a radical one at this time) and military training to roam freely illegaly in the US. Despite not being political correct but profiling works very well and all 3 of those make him a high suspect and he should not be trusted since he already broke one law, violating an expired visa.
You would notice that he was release immediatly after the canadians granted him legal residence and he was deported there.
I have office installed on one of my alternate less important systems, and I still have to switch over to it for a few things that I've grown accustomed to that I cant find in Open office, at least not thats privided with the install package. One thing I've grown to enjoy out of MS Office is the evnelope and letters wizards, while OO has a very simple version of these the one in MS Office is much more developed and easier to use and setup, and I find myself switching computers and pulling up those wizards to get some quick work done rather than toy with the OO version.
OO in fact has no templates to speak of, I tried to look for some of the more common ones I use often but after expirimenting with templates in general in OO I find the whole design implmentation to be..weak. For composing long documents and things that I need to plan into I always of course use OO but for quick memos and letterheads, and of course printing envelopes things that I use templates for I find myself moving to the other room to finish them.
Well personally, it comes on like around 11 for me, I'm almost ready to go to bed but not quite yet, I have nothing important to do but If i go to sleep right then and there i'll toss and turn for the 30 minutes anyway. I find the show amusing, and while I do not laugh out loud at the jokes, I do enjoy them, and I would love to see more seasons as watching these reruns will eventually dull out ( but not yet !) .
Better than anything else I can watch that hour, god forbid I watch the selective reporting (ie report bad things only ) news channel.
Not very many people know this but AOL does have an alternate cancellation line by FAX which requires no talking to the cancellation dept at all.
Last time i was a member of AOL (was out of town for months and aol was most reliable on the road net access at the time that didnt require any research to find) well I cancelled as soon as I got back in town, however I did so entirely by FAX without any arguements or free month offers. This fax number is actually inside the AOL help system (the online help system) and its burried very very deep, I remember going clicking on cancellation information windows for at least 30 minutes until I got this unlabeled cancellation fax number. All it said was Send cancellations to fax (800 nbr here). The number from a company whos name i didnt recognize, and makes you think they have nothing to do with AOL, however my account did not renew, I was not charged, and to top it all of i received absolutely no confirmation or acknoledgement they received the fax, however it worked so I just left it at that.
I'm pretty sure the number is still out there, I'm pretty sure they burried it even deeper however.
Actually I find the large assortment of Nintendo games available to be substandard junk. (Including the N64 and the new DS) there are a few great games for the systems, most of them available from Nintendo themself like Zelda, Mario, Nintendo Dogs, and other Nintendo produced titles. However the bread and butter of any console success is the popularity of 3rd party tittles, as this is what brings most of the money the console makers.
Now lets take a look at the "good" titles of this new ds
New Super Mario Bros
Nintendo Dogs
Metroid Hunters
Animal Crossing
Castlevania
Mario & Luigi Partners in Time
Mario Kart DS
Get the point? most of these hit titles are directly produced by Nintendo itself. Nintendo 64 had the same problem but a much larger selection so just on a larger scale.
What nintendo needs to do to win the upcomming console wars is to make 3rd party developing extremely friendly, make it so your console can play revolutionary new immersive games that people WANT to make for the Wii. Now this new console is going to be hard to predict, the new controller style is so new and quite innovative that it might create an entirely new market of games that wasnt previously available.
And the most important thing is to DROP CARTRIDGES. They are the least unfriendly thing to 3rd party developing that they ever created, plus they are extremely limited in capacity. Playstation 1 had a great idea on its CD system that allows for multi disk gaming, allowing for the development of titles that had HUGE amount of content like Final Fantasy. I dont know about some of you but I've beat almost every nintendo DS title in less than a week. It took me 2 days to beat the new Super Mario Bros, and i was playing at my spare time at work (spent 3rd day unlocking secret levels).
