    Actually, it is kinda Kafka-esque in a way because we've got such volatility in the net-neutrality stage right now with our new American President. Things are teetering on a very fine edge and these next few years could determine many of the laws that will affect all of us in some way or another.

    I'm sorry, but I see the point of purchasing something like this as sensible as spending $12,000 out of pocket for the Adobe True Type font package. It's great and all that you can make things run at a barely perceptible higher speed, but at the cost of not only the card itself, but cooling, PSU, etc., I'd rather just stay with a more affordable card.

    Was built in 1785 :P I know that's pretty low tech, but it's impressive considering how well this place has stood the test of time (in upstate New York with its endless blizzards), and now we've got modern half million to million dollar homes that are made with plywood and pressure treated boards and have problems from day one.     Looks like a gorgeous card with blazing speeds for all you gamers out there. But for those like me who run Maya, I'll be content sticking with my ATI FireGL v7350. Now yes, I like you all have seen those reviews out there that say the GeForces can run Maya faster than ATI, but that's bullshit. I've done rendering with both setups on identical systems and pound for pound the ATI annhilates the Nvidia.

    Actually, I have to disagree with you here. For some things, yes, you can't treat with a placebo, but it can be done for many things. Proves ONCE AGAIN the true power of the mind. If you're convinced you're taking something that will help you, it can and indeed does help, even if it is a sugar pill.

    Most people I know that host sites such as torrent trackers or simlilar are leaving the country because of Bush's recent destruction of Habeus Corpus. Can't say I blame them. Why the fuck would you want to stick around in a place where they can pwn you for anything. Hell, it's anti-blue-eyes day. Everyone with blue eyes goes to prison! Sound rediculous? It may. But it 'COULD' happen. The potential is now there. That's the shit that scares me. And the douche on the O'Rielly Factor on Fox the other day (head of the Minutemen political group) called the kids who protested his organization at Columbia University, terrorists and the new face of the KKK. 5 bucks says he didn't get in one f-ing bit of trouble for speaking his mind. I'm not condoning hate speak at all here. I'm saying that this man, for speaking out nationally and calling all kids who are members of these democratic political on campus groups terrorists, should either step down from his position or at least make a public apology. And I'm neither a student, nor a parent of a student, but I took offense to these comments.

    Hey don't get me wrong. I love my ps and ps2, however, I have more than a few misgivings about this new Sony system. And at least my 'as of yet unrealeased gaming console' doesn't find it necessary to provide 'racist' advertising and charging exorbitant prices.
