I have never heard of any Swedish ISP that uses caps. In fact i were convinced that it was a myth or a thing they used way back in the earliest days of the internet.
Compatibility - This is true when you count Asia!:) They're flexing their IE 5 compatibility here. This is correct in the most infuriating way to modern webtrash types.
This is like saying that a slice of pizza landing right next to your toilet is cleaner compared to a slice that you drop in it.
I second the plea for less foam-at-the-mouth posts though.
Getting rid of the stupid moments and rushing towards the fun ones. Hope they include a 'unlock-all-so-i-dont-have-to-just-to-play-the-whole-game' cheat as well.
Way to many games assume that i want to grind 25 hours to get that tiny little game mode which just happens to be the most fun part of it all.
Mouse and keyboard are not the solution to all problems, but they kick some serious ass in FPS games.
Pads just cant compete in precision and speed.
Why limit yourself to your thumbs +/- a finger or two to get inferiour results?
...Which is exactly what we are going to do, once Super Smash Bros: Brawl comes out. If you even imply that it is possible to play fighting games with the wiimote, i will showe said controller were it doesnt belong in the human body.
And about what makes the xbox attractive... the PC have had those things for a long time now, why downgrade to an inferior console?
I do not mean that the xbox cant deliver as much/more entertainment as the PC, im simply questioning your somewhat flawed logic.
I will go with the crowd on/.; this is just another create-a-market-and-earn-bucketloads-of-money from M$.
I agree. Sure the developers could spend countless hours of amassing technical and practical problems for the player to solve/put up with. But why? If you are a casual gamer you surely will look for that exit button when Super Vehicle X breaks down/runs out of fuel for the tenth time in a row.
I consider myself a "real" gamer. I dont like those casual games which are filled with dices and "fun" and fast (as in short) gameplay. To be really enjoyable a game should be "masterable", that is the better player should much greater chances of winning. Imagine CPL finals, $50000 at stake, but in the decisive battle your main tank hits that 1% chance of breaking down resulting in a totally pointless loss.
Heh... here in Sweden a $120 will get you more bandwidth than youll ever need (as in > 100 mbit/s). And still have money left (which is kinda practical when youll have to pay for all those gigs of movies you just downloaded)
In terms of high APM (Actions Per Minute) Grubby is a nobody. Go watch the top korean Starcraft players instead.
In WC3 high APM is around 200, in Starcraft thats about average, for good/expert players that is.
True. But we want to be better than microsoft, not like them.
Those classes were held at UC Berkeley by Alan Feng and two others. Here is a writeup about them, quite interesting.
I found! Its already on slashdot! Heres the link. Oh, wait...
As stated in the fucking article. Harr harr.

"I'll be to bed in a minute, SOMEBODY IS WRONG IN THE INTERNET!"
Obligatory xkcd quote. Made my day a bit brighter here in Sweden.
In other words, i wont be taking my tin foil hat off just yet.
Sucessfull Troll +300XP
How good MMOs could be if we lived in Sweden, where bandwidth isnt a problem?
There, fix'd it for you.

Code is art, therefore art is code. There, fix'd it for you.
