Why do you need 3GB of RAM on a Mac? Granted I don't do much on my Macbook, but I get along just fine with the built in 256MB (and my Windows XP Media Center box runs fine on 1GB which I play my games on, do video & photo editing, share music on my home network, and record TV on).
Yeah, that and, I don't know, maybe he also directed the Lord of the Rings trilogy which IMHO were really, really good and I don't want some other director screwing it up because I know Jackson would do it as well as he did the others.
it keeps going and going and going, unlike my Panasonic rear-projection LCD which requires the lamp to be replaced every year.
For anyone looking to buy a new HDTV (all 10 of you reading this that don't know already), be sure you buy one that doesn't require a lamp/bulb to be replaced and you'll save yourself a lot of headaches and hassles.
You would have thought that they'd make it reset instead of freeze (so people would think "oh the kiosk resets so I don't play all day" instead of "this *$?! PS3 sucks because it freezes a lot for no reason"), but what do I care if Sony continues to make themselves look stupid...
We own 2 VCRs that we haven't used (for the most part) in years since we have DVD players, a Tivo, Media Center pc, etc now. It isn't surprising that ownership of DVD players just passed that of VCRs, but I bet usership of DVD players surpassed that of VCRs a while back- a few years maybe I would guess...
How long before the first class action suit in the U.S. over bad Web site design?
Never, someone probably patented this particular kind of class action suit already so they wouldn't want to be counter-sued by the patentee.
Yeah, I think they should be investigating the people who didn't develop very good motor skills in childhood instead. I've never even come close to releasing the controller from my hand, although I have come close a few times to hitting stuff around me (coffee table, cats) while playing bowling and tennis. But I'm not going to be a moron and blame Nintendo for my lack of proper attention.
I think the guy that wrote that might be the lazy one. My first reaction to this was that they both used some template that was likely part of the IEAK which is why their pages are strikingly similar. If that isn't the case after all, then sue me for being too lazy for checking it out.
I'm in the US so for me: FFXII (check), Wii (Nov 19, check); no complaints here, this is shaping up to be one of the best years in a long time for console gamers:)
That's a valid point, but I (like many others I'm guessing) bought a PS1 (and PS2) specifically for the Square-Enix games. Without them, I may have never bought a Sony console (and would have missed out on Castlevania: SOTN, one of the few non Square-Enix games for the PSX that I loved and made getting the console worthwhile for me).
There were many-a Gamecube and DS game that I didn't buy (yet anyway) solely because of a (or many) sub-par review(s)... My standards are pretty high and although Nintendo has (and still does) put out tons of games I love, they put out around as many that just don't seem to cut it for me.
Actually I waited in line at 5 on launch day and got the 2nd to last one at the store I was at (Wii of course, who cares about PS3) :)

If the PS3 still doesn't sell like hotcakes when that comes out then Sony is royally screwed.
RSS readers just cache the DTDs and refer to them locally instead? It's not like they're going to change or anything...

don't care until there's free downloadables for the Wii...

Why not just get the PS2, 4-5 of the best PS2 games, a Wii, a few Wii games and extra Wiimotes for the price of a PS3 instead? :)

Not that I agree, but the Wii is pretty small...
If I remember correctly from the videos, Boxing (from Wii Sports) uses both the remote and the nunchuk.
