    Then they should come up with some standard way of compressing XML first.
    Others will benefit from this as well, for example ODF uses Zip, AFAIK.

    I'm not a standards guy neither a game developer, but I'd propose something based on other standards, like XMPP for messaging, connectivity, chat and X3D for virtual world 3D models.

    Hey that's not a problem. If they can add Operating System to game, adding text editor, irc client features wouldn't be that hard.
    So only thing we'll miss in our games is e-mail client!

    Damn it, it is broken?! I want to benefit from this Advantage program! They should open source WGA. Bugs would be fixed immediately by volunteers, so we can enjoy it without problems!
    I'm switching to Linux Genuine Advantage(TM), guys. It is better and open-source!

    I would have thought that "enhanced" security was a sensible default, silly me. It's not underlined, so you don't know it is a link until you hover your mouse over it, but it will take you to a https:/// [https] page. I clicked that link, it sends to http://mail.live.com/default.aspx&id=64855&bk=2752 0536 and guess what? 404 - The page cannot be found. lol

    I couldn't RTFA (slashdotted??), but, from what you describe, it seems it is shortest path problem, not TSP.

    Shortest path is about finding shortest route between two nodes in graph, wihle TSP is about traveling each node exactly once with minimum cost.

    but not everybody who can benefit from this great resource has an Internet connection like ours.

    I think you know there are some countries with limited internet connection like dial-up only as an option, expensive internet cafes and all of them under strict control.

    He took box made of glass and filled it with oil. Then he put motherboard inside that oil box, removing all fans from the board. I was not interested much about it at that time, AFAIK project was built for some kind of science fair. I don't remember exactly where power supply was, inside or outside. Does power supply without fan will work inside oil filled box?

    Seems like it would be a better process to work in your desired field for a few years, then go for the degree. We tried this, and it does not work.

    Few years ago, education system in our country changed. Students after graduating from high school had to work for 2 years in order to be eligible for college application. Exteremely low rate of students getting job without degree resulted to de-motivation of high-schoolers. Who would want to study if you're not eligible for college application and it's so hard to get job?

    Thank god they removed that restriction this year.
