So 1 guy dies here in America, that makes it WAY more important than the dozens if not hundreds dying . Not only that, but this kind of stuff doesn't happen all the time. These people casted their votes, and found that it was a sham, so they are now dying for their rights.
Ohh damn, there I go again taking the bait from a troll.
I'm proud to see these young people stand up for their rights and for what they believe in. It's good to see these kids fighting the good fight. (Morgan Freedman anyone?)
I'm hoping this will come to a peaceful end, but any government that steals an election should be punished, and it seems the people of Iran will have none of it.
Keep fighting guys, I only wish I could help fro way over here.
You know, it really is bad to see all this violence, however it warms my heart to see these young people fight for what is right. I'm not saying that the election was rigged or was not, but what I see are people who care, young people....
People who will stand up and fight for what is right and what they believe in. It's a lot more than I would expect to see out of anyone here in America.
That's like saying "I should be able to stick my knife in whatever I want". That isn't how it works. I can stick my knife in this steak here, but it's illegal for me to stick my knife in someone else's body. You may not be aware of this but there is such a thing as "antitrust law". I suggest that you familiarize yourself with that.
Wow, that's a terrible analogy, it's nothing like that. A good comparison is like saying "I built this car, so I'm going to put my own brand of oil filter into it, but others can change it if they want"
Actually, they were and they are. IE is full of proprietary and undocumented behavior which keeps other browser vendors chasing a moving target in order to try to be compatible so that they will work with all the sites out there that are coded specifically for Microsoft's proprietary platform. They were and are also hiding Windows APIs from other browser vendors, and are using Windows Update to push IE even when other browsers are set as the default browser.
Uh, no they are not. You can install Firefox perfectly fine. Just because you can't run Windows update via Firefox doesn't mean they are restricting it. In-fact, In Vista I run updates using the Windows updater, not IE or Firefox.
They are not restricting anything.
I think you need to come up with better arguments than that.
How is open source a better solution when your only source of troubleshooting is Google?
I've used a number of Open Source products on my network here, (Nagios being one) and I tell you, when I have a problem it's next to impossible to find support. At least through a paid closed source application, you typically get a support contract along with it.
It's not bandwidth they need to cap, it's download speeds.
Seriously, just because someone downloads 3TB's of porn doesn't mean the internet is going to run out of fuel. The kicker is how FAST they are downloading.
If everyone in the world started downloading at 4MB/sec then we would have problems. It's not how much they download.
Don't use their service. If you have to, get DSL or something.
I felt real good last week because my company had the discussion of going with a fiber line through Time Warner. Me being the Network Administrator told our Time Warner sales rep that we would not be interested due to the fact that the company practicing bandwidth caps. Yeah I know our company would not experience the caps, but it's a loss of business for them, and it gets the message across.
Wait so it's Microsoft's fault that 3rd parties are developing on their OS only?
Well that makes sense.
So in 2 years does that mean she is legal? /I keed I keed.
Wow, way to be a total dick.

The guys over in Iran trying to communicate via Twitter. I'm sure those guys really loved it.
Sorry, I meant to say "Don't you think our current health care system is contributing to the recession?"
You don't think that the current health care system is not contributing to the current recession?
13(a) PROHIBITION.--It shall be unlawful for major
14 broadband Internet service providers to offer volume usage
15 service plans imposing rates, terms and conditions that
16 are unjust, unreasonable, or unreasonably discriminatory.
I'm sure they can somehow find a way to "Justify" the caps.
Maybe it's also because the games that are released also contain updates to make the game more fun.
For instance, I downloaded a game called Flight Path. They recently came out with an update containing more maps, and different kinds of planes.
Now in the PC or console industry, they would just re-box this and call it Left 4 Dead 2....

Funny, I don't see "The Cold" anywhere on this list.

But they will still limit the kinds of traffic on their network.

Browser market? What market? It's not like people go out and purchase IE, or Netscape, or Firefox.
They should be able to put what they want in their OS. Afterall...It's not like they are restricting other Browsers.
I'm sorry...What!?
That has to be the most retarded comment I've ever heard. No one should be limited to rights just because of how "Big" they are.
It's legit.
Their argument was that the email domain didn't exist, but after running a DNS report on the domain, I found the email domain is legit.

Boo freaking hoo?
You mean you actually have to learn how to play the game to do those awesome moves? Oh no say it ain't so!
It's pretty terrible that we as a nation are this scared by such events.
It's amazing how much people live in fear these days.
So wait are you saying you caught this virus they are talking about? I live in the Waco area so I'm trying to stay informed.
CDC reported 2 cases in America from their last update.

That this thread will consist only of positive remarks, and supportive statements towards Microsoft.

On a side note, that eye chart the Conflicker Group had up no longer works.

But how do you find where it lands without some kind of GPS attached to it? (Which also costs money)
