Point is, creating lesson plans is not what teachers are paid to do. It's outside the scope of their employment.It's just assumed they do it somehow, but the job description doesn't include it. Otherwise, they should be paid for the hours of creating those lesson plans, before anyone assumes copyright or any rights over their works.
I'm sure you are getting some pay for working overtime, depending either on your salary (a big one covering any "extra time") or agreement (overtime pay). I'm also sure, before you give over your rights to any company, you are pretty sure this is included in your work description or that company. Many teachers don't. It's just assumed they will create lesson plans, which often happens in their free time, even before they get employed at all.
This isn't some proprietary information regarding company secrets of the trade. This is lesson plans over public domain information, so no need to lock down. It's not the same as working on secret projects for an IT company, where certain information may not be revealed.
Anyways, "on company time" in your free time, doesn't strike a cord with me. If I develop a competing product on my own computer, and it's not included in the contract that I can't, then it's free market as far as I'm concerned.
This makes you liable for bank and credit-card losses should you lose your pin or bank passwords this way. You will be surprised how fast some thieves can be. A security chip may slow things down to be theoretical, but you're still liable if you lose it together with your paper.
You could obfuscate the passwords in a code language though, and most banks have some simple systems they promote.
It should never be stored in a computer that is network accessible, although I'm sure you're not that liable for the misuse unless you have been found extreme neglient (but how to prove innocent there?)
Most banks are cool though, but people have lost tons of money, and it have happened that the banks have said it's your fault. That's very bad.
While rich people no doubt may have more resources available, and often training in how to succeed in the world (with least amount of work), from family and education, I doubt rich people are significantly more intelligent. It's certainly not the most determining factor, or else, more poor, intelligent people, would become rich.
A stronger factor is greed, which also make you an easier target to bad deals, like a email forgery and scams.
I would go so far as to say that would be a necessary last barrier of protection in the whole system, and no argument can really justify the cost to not have it. Knowing the randomness-ratio is good though, and the cost is probably a tiny amount of fuel / time, but it's just a small insurance against problems of "too perfect systems". In most cases, it might even save fuel. The "ideal path" may not always be so ideal in practice, as in theory.
Bah, if it's not significant money, then it's NOT corruption. A guard taking a $200 dollar bribe is corruption (significant). A politician getting $200 incidentally because of a mandate, is NOT corruption (insignificant and unintentional).

I was more upset when seeing an addon on.NET which I couldn't disable the other day. It somehow got updated, and is now able to disable / uninstall, but the plugin will still be there.
Since I don't use this, I have no qualms about Mozilla disabling something which gives away the.NET version on my computer and possible ways of breakin.

How about a twist: Consciousness is a fundamental part of the universe, that will revolutionize all our old paradigms of how we view and interact with it.
The particles / waves will interact with whatever is there. The interaction will propagate throughout the whole universe as waves, ripples on the ocean.
What are humans physically, but ripples on the ocean of life? The wave rises, and in the end merges totally back into the ocean. During a normal lifespan, not a single atom or molecule will remain the same in our body for the whole time. In the end, _all_ physical traces of who we _thought_ we were will be scattered across the pond of the universe.
If we have a form of consciousness, why not a stone, or a photon, or a planet?

Fixed. Try the Firefox extension TabMixPlus, which includes some nifty extra tab context menus and a session manager. Or the Firefox extension Session Manager, should also do fine if you only want that.
Crashes and problems with Firefox will never bother you so much again.
