This is ridiculous, if we acted like computer game characters we'd all have spent the 80's running around in darkened rooms, popping pills and listening to repetitive music.
surely the only way to stop twitter users from posting the information is to tell every twitter user who they are gagged from posting about, otherwise someone could easily post it without knowing they are breaking the gagging order.
it's not exactly free 3G, it costs $70 which is a lot more than a 3G chip would cost. if you don't use it much it's actually quite expensive. I don't know what is available in the US but in the UK a got a 3G dongle last january (2010) for £29 which included £15 of credit allowing me 1GB. This may sound quite expensive for 1GB but i don't use it much and as the credit has no expiry on it i still have £10 of the original credit, so for me the odd few times i've used it it's a bargain.
it is, i've lost count of how many customers i've had who i've had to remove fake antivirus for. It's always the same when they come into the shop saying they have 253 viruses and you have great trouble convincing them they just have one virus.
no viruses or trojans is a bit of an exaggeration but the fact that one piece of mac malware is considered news worthy proves that there are very few out there.
Why would a collision require user input to sense? a number of cars saying that they're not moving in the same location without traffic lights would generally indicate a problem in the road.
Bah, I'm sure that my name will beat you: Zhiwoumxy Quujosva. Placed all my 7 letters, +70. Placed Z and X on triple letter squares, +60. Completed 2 other words with them, +60. And so on...
Uh, how many U's are there in the game?
4 generally, unless you've lost some, i'd be more worried about how he placed his Z and X both on tripple letter scores when there are no tripple letter scores that far apart, or where he got the + 70 when you get 50 points for using all your letters.
My typing speed and rhythm can vary wildly, rather dependent on my alcohol and caffeine content amongst many other factors. I fail to see how a system can take account of so many unknown variables.
they do still exist, for a start, my mum, even though i've given her an old laptop, she won't dare turn it on unless i'm there. and further behind, my grandma, who if you gave her a mouse and told her what it was, she would probably try to feed it cheese.
if it causes a short circuit, the feedback could easily blow the CPU, though in practice, any half decent power supply should cut out before that can happen.
Or you could throw it backwards at the speed at which you're orbitting, hence leaving it standing, at which point it will fall to Earth.
The biggest flaw with this being that the average car isn't designed for re-entry into earths atmosphere.
Wow, did you miss the point, that being that UNIX, even at 40 years old is still relevant, so why can't a 20 year old platform like amiga still be relevant?

should i be warning the landlord at my local? the middle earth tavern in whitby.
apart from very recent films, all dvds come originally from an analogue master, doesn't make them any less digital.
or maybe a circle 124 miles across.
So I'm not the only one who saw this and thought of Camp Watonka, I was a counsellor there in 2004 and loved the experience.

4. ...
5. Profit!
It's like if Sony would actively try to prevent the PS3 from being used to play bluerays ??
That's a silly comparison, it's more akin to if sony were to remove the other OS feature from the PS3 (no, wait, they did that already)
simple, it's the cost of rigorous testing, you can't have a safety critical system that may get things wrong sometimes.
unless you're over 120 years olds, which i doubt, you weren't around for nintendo's inception.

you don't need to second-guess.
a few years ago you didn't need to: 1kb was 1024 byte. it was defined like that. why don't we define 2 as 1 and 1 as 2 next ?
There's no such thing as 2...

Not wireless, WAN is Wide Area Network.
just because the website looks like a dedication to the fall of geocities, doesn't mean the language is without merit.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goo_(programming_language) goo's already a programming language.
52 million, that's still less than half nintendos sales in the same time period, which in what is essentially a two horse race, isn't that good.
