    saying the computer has 4 screens sounds good, but wouldn't it be more useful if the 3 small screens were just one very wide screen, it could then still be treated as 3 screens when that is what is needed but could also have other applications where you need the information to not have 2 gaps in it.

    Note: your company, and how many computers is that connection shared between, this is FTTH connections, (Fibre To The Home) for a home connection it's very much next generation.

    If you have the time to stand and watch your network administrator, and the knowledge to understand what they're doing, surely you don't need them in the first place.

    Except that the RFID shield you reference is entirely different to the passport shielding that video demonstrates to be ineffective.

    look like a twat (wear a bluetooth headset all day) is not a good solution to anything, i'd have to stick with carrying the phone, if you tend to wear cloths without pockets, get a belt clip. If you're a naturist, get a lanyard to hang your phone on or stick the phone up your ass, there's always a way. (BTW that last bit was a joke, unless you feel that it's something you want to try. :-))

    the difference is that the mac is only made by apple, why would apple need to be forced to be given the choice of installing a different browser.

    I hope that makes sense, though i'm not overly optimistic that it does.

    I got the same letter from orange, capped cos i downloaded 73 gigs in a month. The previous letters were better though, the letter telling me I'd been capped for downloading 27 gigs in a month, followed a few days later by a letter telling me they'd sent me the wrong letter. Sometimes I don't think they know what they're doing.

    My mistake, the ones in the UK are usually on the ceiling or high up on the wall. I've only spent 10 weeks in the US and that was 5 years ago, it obviously wasn't enough time to familiarize myself with the American urinal flushing systems.

    you'd have to be quite tall, the passive infrared sensors most often used for urinals are usually fitted to the ceiling or very high on the wall.

    a reasonably modern graphics card can do 3D acc on two monitors (I use a nVidia GT9500 to play flight sim on two screens) but trying to play two different games like this is unlikely.

    Try to imagine where 3D gaming would be today if not for the graphics processing unit, or GPU.

    The first thing that came to mind when I saw this sentence was a world where ray tracing was a better developed technology and 3D objects had spent years being much less blocky than they are in computer games.
