Even if the DRM on DVDs weren't cracked, it's not a bad system as it isn't too restrictive, if you buy a DVD you expect to only play it on a DVD player, but unlike some DRMd content on computers you can play it on as many DVD players as you like, and when it comes to the next upgrade (logically a Blu Ray player) the DVDs will still work.
of course they do, i used to have a blister on my wrist from where it rubbed on the desk moving my mouse around, it soon went when i got a bigger mouse though. fortunatly with pc gaming there's a much wider choice of controls if one causes a problem.
the current Internet might end up as the bad neighborhood of cyberspace. You would enter at your own risk and keep an eye over your shoulder while you were there.
My studies showed that my tetris addiction was directly linked to the violence of the game, I'm now going to have to go back and look over that paper, see where I went wrong.
Not to troll or to dwell into politics here, But does anyone here know any numbers for the *actual* chances/probabilities that satellite A will collide with satellite B in orbit around the Earth?
The chance is 1, that's given that your question has no time frame, hence I am assuming infinite time, over which every satalite in space would eventually crash if left to its own devices.
I also came on to recommend essential PHP security, it's certainly not definitive, but it does cover all the most popular attacks and how to protect against them, helped me no end on some of my early work with PHP.
doing away with the motor so you don't need a big power source seems daft when you've already had to find a big power source to power the computer that it's plugged into.
these DTV coupons seem like a daft idea anyway, they are keeping the cost of converter boxes high, if the coupons didn't exist the box prices would have dropped by now. Here in Britain we are converting to digital and have no assistance scheme like this (except for the elderly) and a converter box can be picked up from a supermarket for £15 (~$20).
you probably say that jokingly but my dads friend did that and couldn't get it to work so my dad brought the disc home to try in his dvd player, besides, if you went by that logic we'd still be using videos.
you've blatantly never fired a gun with a silencer, they're far from silent, all they manage to do is suppress the sound enough so that ear protection isn't strictly necessary, though it's still recommended. this is why most prefer the term "suppressor" to "silencer".
i don't recall anyone complaining that they couldn't play CDs on their turntables (except my grandad, but that's a different story)

it was 2004
And as a child of the 80s my first association is with Mr Gordon, Flash can conjure many images to different people.
As the accepted English spelling is "ciao" and not "cíao" that shouldn't be a problem.
true, I prefer the more correct term: "we will be living in the future", true until the point of death when the opposite becomes true.
Space Roombas. That image will keep me amused for literally minutes!

no change there then.
if you'd waited and got the post second, i'd have modded it funny.

SI and metric units are not exactly the same thing, the biggest difference being the inclusion of seconds in SI units
in what way is the "second" metric? that's like saying the inch is metric as long as we just measure in inches and ignore things like feet and yards.

NO, the campaign increased public awareness of filesharing, as will the media coverage surrounding the ending of the campaign.
advertising has been a part of our daily lives since the ancient egyptians advertised products, services and events on papyrus wall posters.
Then I've got news for you, those ads are targetted at men, not women, atleast the lingerie ones are.
duct tape won't work, as the summary says, the camera can be embedded in the screen.
