    'the only' - Maybe you should come out of your Mom's basement more often and try a different version of Linux once in a while. Fedora, Suse, Mageia and PCLOS are all way better than Ubuntu. To be fair, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu are also better. It is only Ubuntu that is rotten.

    The problem is that the design is a river barge. It is not an ocean going yacht. That makes it even more of a niche item.

    You know, that is a perfect answer. You'll never get any tech support questions. In fact, I doubt anyone will ever again ask you anything again, except maybe whether you can spare them a doobie. I usually tell people that I don't do Windows, but for some obscure reason that tends to piss them off.

    My wife is a baby boomer accountant who speaks 5 languages, has no idea how computers and anything technical works and only ever used Windows. While she had endless trouble with Vista, she had absolutely no trouble at all with Linux and I never explained anything to her. I just gave her, her username and password on a sticky note on top of a new laptop computer. Problem solved.

    I think I now understand why Assange prefers the Colombian embassy over going to Sweden to explain trumped up charges. If someone gets chucked into solitary before trial for running a business that is essentially similar to Google search, then I can't imagine what they will do to a guy that was accused of rape by two bar floozies. You are not paranoid if they really are out to get you.
