So if you stream it through a proxy, would the MPAA consider that to be part of their ever growing, all inclusive word: piracy?
(Well I guess the MPAA wouldn't be involved in a BBC show but you think if we had something interesting on US public channels and people got it through proxy they would try that?)
Side note, I just went to there site to verify mojave was corrected and I got my first pop-up in ages
We're sorry, this browser, operating system or microprocessor is not currently supported by the Microsoft Silverlight 2 plug-in. You can still experience The Mojave Experiment on our non-Silverlight site.
You have a problem with jobs being exported to China but not Mexico?
It's the same fucking thing.
I have watched the company I work for (KCI) strip our manuafctoring jobs and send them to Mexico (and Ireland) while people who worked for 15 years get told their jobs have been reassigned.
That's the new lingo "reassigned." You're not layed off anymore, you are simple not assigned to work.
And they do it for the same reason as China. Lower taxes, lower wages, and no health (or any other) benifits.
And corporations bitch about how employees are not loyal anymore.
I bought my wife a computer for Christmas for around 300 - no monitor.
She asked that I install Linux on it for her.
She wasn't home when I set it up so I decided to give vista a whirl thinking that surely it isn't as resource intensive as everyone here makes it out to be.
This was not a high end system, but a definite upgrade from her old computer. It was a 2.1GHz 64 bit Dual Core Processor with 2 gig of ram.
It was worse than I could have imagined. The only thing that was fast was the boot time but afterward everything was almost non-responsive and did not get much better after all the drivers were installed.
I ended up installing 64 bit Debian Sid withe KDE 4 from experimental.
KDE 4 is blew Vista out of the water in terms of speed. I can't compare much of the features because Vista took so damn long to do anything I finally gave up.
Multiple stories actually being held together and getting to slowing learn about the Galactica universe.
Not to mention the conflict between the military and the politicians was spellbinding (even if they ended it to simplistically.)
It just seemed to get better and better.
I'll watch next season since it's the last and I have 4 years already invested (plus a scifi season seems only be 10 or 12 episodes nowadays so it's not much an investment.)
I have no interest in a sequel or prequel. Or even worse, to do like B5 and have a bunch movies take place in between already established time lines.

And in Babylon 5!
My mom sent me the article as well (read it on the BBC) and said that it was nice to not to have to worry or change her habits again. (Debian AMD64.)
the mojave commercial use this part:
it seems more stable than XP
then cut to theme music.

I really think funny should count toward karma.
Every good joke risks offending some.
On this
60 % Funny
20 % Offtopic
10 % Troll
As far as karma goes for personal stats, this would not reflect the 5 the user is at.
Jesus was a Jew.
Not flaming against Christians or Jews, just a correcting.
He could have done what he was famous for and not voted.
At least he wouldn't have looked as hypocrtical.

Toyota trucks are made in San Antonio, TX.
We were all excited when they came here. There were lines for miles for people applying.
It was to be THE place to work.
This is for 64 bit windows apps not to make 32-bit wine run better on 64-bit systems.

Really, A 4+ second delay?
Wine is easy to setup now (winecfg is gui based.) Maybe you should check your setting.
Programs usually open as quick or quicker than running it in windows (comparing from work and virtual box but I would notice a 4 second wait on apps.)
There used to such a think as a responsible business.
Being consumer friendly was not always considered an anti-business approach.
And while it may be the norm, it is still not an excuse.

Surely the non-oem xp versions would cost the same by now.
Why buy OEM?
I saw the Vista crap coming years before it came out and made myself adjust to linux (and that was before everything became automated in linux.)
I do not understand why people still deal with this nonsense.
They are free.
Maybe you should have started with the newer one.
Heck, it works in Konqueror as well (kthml didn't try webkit.)
Everyone knows that one source file is enough for anyone.
That's what goto is for :)
You would think a person would be almost be too embarrassed to sue over this.
That's more than I make in San Antonio.
Don't forget they get the maintenance jobs.
1000 my ass. People hire them because they pay them off the books and can take advantage of them
Didn't she blow up a ship with a nuke?
Hard to make a bigger bang :)
Really...
I thought season one was the best.

Based on the moderation, it's overrated flamebait.
There is something delicious in that description.
Hoover and the Red scare?
What we did to the Japanese under Roosevelt after Perl Harbor?
Hell, what we did to the Germans during the first WW
This isn't the first time we (Americans) looked and saw the enemy in every corner and it won't be the last.
People that say Bush is the worst we ever had have no sense of history
woosh
