I get a good connection, but a non-constant one. The cable guy even told us that they had no incentive to repair or upgrade the lines.
He went on to mention that the competition Grande Cable was better and had newer lines but did poorer with the apartment contracts.
The apartment complex requires a $500 deposit and apartment insurance to cover at least a hundred thousand due to an increase chance of being stuck by lightning if you want to switch to satelite.
I been using it since the rc3 + releases. This kernel has given me no problems.
I haven't noticed much of a difference in speed but then I am not sure why I expect each version to be the faster.
Just a question to other users:
I have been trimming my kernel and removing what I don't need from the stock 60 mb Debian kernels to a lean (for me since the rest of the config options to get it smaller are over my head) 8 mb one (and I do notice a difference there.)
I have been using make oldconfig from each kernel to the next so I don't have to start over. How often do most of you start over from scratch (re-synce the config back to default?) I imagine that make oldconfig after awhile results in a dirty kernel as I keep pulling configs with me from old kernels.
Because one works? Have you been to a theater?
(Also the copper mesh isn't traveling the airwaves)
I would think that video rentals would help lead to piracy (renting then ripping - makes it more anonymous as well.)
Will we need to draw a new picture every 90 days?
Same here and the lines are dilapidated.

Hell, it even works in Konqueror and adds
"For Linux support try Mplayer"
Nice to see a non flash driven site
I may finally be able to leave TimeWarner.
That alone makes this good.
For only $649

I know if I was just starting which one I would try first. (And I mean try very very hard)
I hate to bring in price as a selling point but that's almost two weeks (after tax) wage for me.
How did that get modded insightful when it's not even true?
None of what you said makes me have faith in the driver. Unoffical patches? What tweaking?
Tell them that you don't feel comfortable buying their copy because of copy protection laws.
Why would you want it to do that?
Yes, sarcasm is lost on me
It would also save the 2 or 3 files in a tarball
I never knew that slashdot had so many pro-gun members.
(Not criticizing - I just assumed the opposite.)
The movies I watch say so
damn!
Still two years after grub supported it
GRUB, unlike LILO, is able to read filesystems and recognize kernel images too
Lilo probably overcame this a while ago but there is also problem reading beyond 1024 cylinders
I still am not sure that upstart will be in Debian anytime soon.
It just seems to sit in experimental. The fact that sysvinit stays marked as required and tries to re-install itself and remove upstart doesn't help.
Grub2, on the otherhand, has been offered for the past couple months during installation.
Stop the knee-jerk reaction. He ended up being modded +5 insightful.
Looks like the Gore lovers have the mod points today.
You mean like klik?

A Debian Sid is out every day!
But this story is about Linspire.
I sure it had all the security updates available for it as well...

His wife is hot
*ducks
It's news because he had a 15 year old laptop. (Or he destroyed 15 years of material when he purchased his laptop.)
