The audience of Fox News contains a minority of moderates and VERY few liberals. 94% of Fox News viewers self identify as republican or republican leaning. In what universe is that a "broad audience"?

Since Fox has the highest ratings of the news networks, it sounds like you are acknowledging that they are moderate by US standards.

Also, Warren Buffet is a leftist. Most of the wealthy elite are.

I think it is simpler than that. He knows that Amazon is popular. He also knows most of the people that support him will not research anything he says and just take what he says at face value.

It's like the Travon thing. He mentions that Travon could have been him when he was younger. He makes these types of racial comments often. Most of the people that I know that support him honestly assume that he struggled and grew up in the deep south (instead of Hawaii) like them.

This appearance makes him look like he is pro-corporate and pro-middle class without actually doing anything but make a speech. And, judging by your post and people I know, he will fool most people.

When my wife pasted away in May, it was extremely useful for contacting her friends and posting rosary and funeral information. It also gave people a public outlet to for them to pay their respects. It meant a lot.

It does impact me. We are members of society and societies are made up of people and families. For the past 30 or 40 years, we have been chipping away at family values and that has shown a great impact in our world (and before anyone tries to link me to racism, I am really not. I know I can't prove that, but my wife is black - she passed away 2 months ago - and my children are of course mixed.)

I am all for civil unions and I don't have a problem with what people do inside or outside the bedroom, but devaluing marriage does impact me.

I think for income tax purposes, though, we should tax based on address, not marriage. I know many straight people that live together with several children but don't get married so they can maximize their tax returns.
