How is only 10 hours glorious? You don't know glorious sleep until you get mono.. no joke, I was asleep from friday night to sunday morning. Not like out cold, but like I'd wake up, look at my watch, roll over and fall asleep. But that is some spectacular sleep.
I can testify to exactly that- it's 6:48 and I didn't sleep tonight (was watching Battlestar Galactica on the Internet, theres a perfect storm situation for you GP poster) and I have mono, the sleepy kind. Anyway looking in the mirror I have that lobotomized look- I feel it too, but it's not so bad once you're actually there! And of course a good 24 hours sleep (not kidding) will erase it, it's not bad enough that even sleep doesn't cure me.
I'm not a loyal anything user, but I really dislike the locked-down American cellphone situation. I'm not using my buying power to support apple/at&t for their nazi control over their device (even if you jailbreak it, you paid for the lock and so supported it) or any other platform, including opera mobile. Obviously I can't get by without a cellphone, but I just have a basic $20 KRAZR, no smart phone nonsense, and no putting $500 in the pockets of someone using it to get more locked down phones into the hands of the public.
What does that have anything to do with it? And nobody give me some smart answer- I mean directly, that has nothing to do with what we think about Yahoo's decisions about China.

What?.. Also, presumably he wanted his valuable one repaired so it wouldn't just be a worthless hulk. It would have been a good idea never to have played it in the first place.
Yeah that confused me too.. it's apparently perfectly good equipment, but they're not licensed to use the Cisco name. And of course they stole the design (I don't mean in an IP sense, I mean that I suspect that there was actual theivery involved in obtaining it).

It's a question of the only way Apple makes any money of their macs is word of mouth love and what we think of them on slashdot. If Apple turns into a big evil corporation, why not just buy Microsoft?
No, it's reporting on Apple being evil just like microsoft-- and anticipating that Apple fans will defend it anyway. Nobody's vindicating Microsoft and slashdot still reports on MS's evilness, how is this a "HIPOCRISY!" trap?
Hold on, if you partition with a different utility like gparted/qtparted, will BSD take the space it's given or insist on partitioning something itself?
Yes they will, in europe anyway. And it's never a good idea to just defy one of the most powerful world governments and try to hide behind international politics-- what happens when your employees learn that they have to cancel that trip to europe?
