Unfortunatelly, lawsuits have become nothing more than another source of income for companys. As Denny Crane and Alan Shore (Boston Legal, ABC Show) state, "It's all about the money. It's always about money". I'm still wondering how can the judges let it happen. I mean can't they see?!
(Insert a Language here) is no expert system, its just a set of rules of how should you procced IF(). If person is plural then verbs go plural. Stuff like that... I don't see how can Microsoft make it an "expert system".. and it's so complex that I find it impossible to be put in a database, as it's also dynamic. Book writers help by making up new sentences every now and then (when they have nothing better to do)
Why doesn't he simply drop it and join Microsoft. Microsoft has all he needs!! Microsoft Windows has even more like WGA, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visual Studio, which comes with my favorite reading, MSDN, which will help you out with your way into.NET 2.0 Final RC Beta 32 bit AND x64 versions. And you'll always have Microsoft DirectX for all your 3D needs! Even hits 4th on Google if you query "best operating system ever"!
I agree they could be useless in some time but for now I'd pretty much trust MD5 and SHA-1 for login hashes. SHA-256 could be an alternative to SHA-1 in that case.
It's a hash algorithm... no big deal ? Just like it was proven possible to break MD5 for binary executables and others them (both) won't be dropped for, say, storing passwords on a database.
So from now on we'll have to use Server OS to get decent performance with older hardware? I've used Windows Server here at home instead of XP's because of all that crap with everything just being done to be "cute" no matter what it is a resource hog (Ever heard/seen Windows Blinds, StyleXP or Talisman shell?). Would it be that hard to write an OS that doesn't look like Barbie's place? Now that 3D view of windows, how is that usefull? I thought there was a button to show the desktop so you could pick which window you want to look...
Go after Microsoft, eBay, Yahoo!, Google, because the formers wrote/own, respectively, MSN Messenger, Skype, Yahoo! Instant Messenger, GTalk, which due to it's ability to send file without doing a prior check if both sides (a) own the copyright for the file. (b) can, legally read the file contents and do whatever. They should sue Microsoft twice as they wrote Microsoft Windows(R), which allow such kind of file to exist in the hard drive and be easly swapped with unknown people
The last time, incidentally, was when I was searching Wikipedia. I came across this revision of a Wikipedia article on Zango Messenger, a spyware laden IM service made by Zango.
And I remeber reading something as that IM being a Miranda IM clone, with the copyrights removed.
It might be me but I haven't figured HOW does the URL tag work yet;(

Just move in here and you'll be fine! I hope to be 1st on that list forever! Although some ISPs are now traffic shaping, that's only BitTorrent, you can still pretty much anything:)

See?
Also if you look at the graphs you'll see that E6600 beats FX-62 in pretty much everything and isn't nearly half FX-62's price.
Wrong, if you die you get older faster. Check out a 16 year old girl and a girl who died 16 years ago!

It's always about my money.
I guess I'll skip this one to get in line for the next generation 64 or 128 cores processor.
You know, my Physics teacher started his progressive rock band and produced an independent project. http://meson-pi.com/

Yes, now that you said what's being said by everybody again and again to gain, would you have anything else (think instresting) to share?
As long as it doesn't take California away so I can keep watching The O.C. it could blow whole north america away.
If I can remote execute code, I can remote execute malicious code. Nothing new please move along
Actually it's been reported him to be spotted somewhere in the North America.
When I first looked at the title I thought it was about Watercooled machines (or xboxes)

I think God rather play in turns just like Civilization.
Maybe they should do business with MycroS0ft instead !
I know what it's being said here, which is that the laptops will be just cheap computers to put in public school, it's not like a laptop giveaway.
