    Companies will *always* pay you as little as they can without you getting up and leaving to go somewhere else.

    The federal government should only provide *essential* public services.

    Developing video games is not a service in my opinion. You may disagree, but I attribute that to a lack of understanding of the definition of 'service'.

    ...and I completely understand the need to pay taxes. Where did that come from?

    Even with weights in free diving, the speed of descent is no-where near what this jetpack would provide. Your body would have significantly less time to adapt, thus, I still believe it is not a good idea.

    I agree. I picked up a quad-core and I rarely utilize anything that puts me at 50% (2 out of 4).

    Even games, I find the bottleneck is my Video card, not the processor.

    My biggest complaint by far is my hard disk. I can't wait for cheap, fast flash drives. Finally make 'Configuring your Computer' after a Vista update not make me want to pull my dick off.

    As I replied to the comment above yours, with a larger TV, you are going to instantly increase things like oh 'energy lost due to heat', etc, etc.

    It's pretty obvious why they chose a 20 inch to compare their TV against. People are dumb and they won't realize they are intentionally trying to Fudge their numbers. I have no doubt these TV's save energy, but at 40%...I'm not sure I buy into that... especially with that bizzare comparison.

    It is still is a terrible comparison.

    A larger TV may need a significant amount of additional energy to supply the exponentially increasing Surface Area. So, although they did use the 'per panel square inch' terminology, it would make a heck of a lot more sense to use a similar size TV for comparison.

    anyone notice this bizzare tidbit FTFA?

    the Sony 11 inch diagonal OLED TV can result in reduced power consumption of up to 40% per panel square inch compared to conventional 20-inch LCD panels.No backlight is used with the organic materials.

    Can we at least try to compare apples with apples. A 20inch is 55% larger than a 11inch tv, so does this even save power?

    ...not to mention you didn't answer my question anyway. my point is that car radiators have been improved upon and have become very stable over the years. I don't doubt the first generations of liquid cooling PCs would be problematic.

    Second, I have no debt, I live well within my means, and what the HELL are you talking about anyway?

    Given the lifespan of a laptop is less than 5 years typically... How many people do you know who have had Car Radiator leaks on their automobile less than 5 years after they purchased it brand new??

    The best FPS I have ever played was Quake 1.
    Mainly because internet-play was relatively new to gamers, the customizeability of every aspect of that game, and oh yea, because I was a Teenager!

    I'm not trying to rip on you, but I don't think I've played a 'fantastic' FPS since then. I'm sure the same could be said by this current generation, who play Gears of War for the first time.

    The games are still good, but you've just gotten used to them. (because you are old). Unfortunately, very few movies, even highly acclaimed ones, stir up my emotions as well. You can only do the same thing so many times before it becomes boring.

    Sure I do, they each have their own implenetations of Webkit. Much like how sorting an array can be done with Bubble Sort or QuickSort.

    Apple = Bubble Sort in this case.

    Apparently they interviewed Dr. Gregory House and then went straight to the trailer park. What a fair and unbiased study.
