CGI should be used to enhance a movie, not be the point of it. Its more a reflection of the poor scripting/producing going on these, a good movie should stand on its own, the cgi should only be icing on the cake, unless the whole thing is shot in cgi,(Like Avatar).
Because there is no money in old housing, look at what happens when a military base gets decommissioned, all the base housing gets raised, with the explanation being its "substandard", bullshit, if it was good enough for our service members, its good enough for low income housing, plus the fact, no community wants a flood of hundreds of cheap houses dragging down the prices.

From their website, Our MRR based on Multiple Quantum Well (MQW) technology was recently tested in our labs and achieved a data rate of 40Mbps over a range of 5m - no word on what data rate this test achieved...
To someone who has never seen one before, it still holds the same fascination as for those of us who grew up when it was invented, its still new to either of us at the time, whether they get bored with it sooner is the real question...
It reminds me of the old philosophical science question... whats the one thing an intelligent fish will never think of to build a rocket.. the answer is fire.
Took the words right out of my mouth ! He originally started this because of all the old Windows dependencies left out there, and wanted a more secure open project to run them, I know its just a handful of devs, and kudos to them for working on an obvious labor of love, but really, by the time its in beta, everyone will have moved on... great idea, but taking too long to implement!
2. No scientist has ever claimed the climate is static. I never claimed a scientist had, its the chicken little followers that assume it was static, they cannot understand the change is the norm because they were fortunate enough to be born in a relatively stable period.
No. The temperatures change for reasons. The constituent gases of the atmosphere change for reasons. Reasons that are not entirely understood, pointing to a an increase in CO2 that seems to correspond to a rise in temps is a nice reasoned assumption, but there a quite a few other other causes that "may" be factors up to and including the the relative albedo of a much cleaner atmosphere than previous generations had, rotational swing on the galaxy, the suns output, ocean currents etc..The scientists claim its settled, Thats a pretty obnoxious statement considering what we dont know about climate driving events.
Well, you are of course totally wrong. We not only can change the climate, we have. Have we now??? Well, feel free to believe that, I will continue to KNOW that whatever small effect we have on this chunk of rock and water, there will be counter effects built in the natural feed back loop. When in doubt...follow the money on global warming scaremongering... who exactly IS profiting.
Correct... the fallacy that our climate is static is the number 1 reason I dont believe much of this debate, the tempa go up, the temps go down, constituent ingredients that make up our atmosphere change, yet Earth keeps on ticking, there is NOTHING we can do for this, we ride on the Earth, hang on tight and make whatever adjustments you need to to survive.
Except on new drivers, my daughter freaked out cuz i left her Corsa in gear with the hand brake on, she was actually TAUGHT this by the driving instructor, I tried getting the idea through her head that on a hill, a handbrake may fade, and its best to have some kind of backup, but to no avail. Couple that with some cars that are stick shift have a clutch switch, car wont turn over unless clutch is engaged, too many people who dont know how to drive sending the car through the garage door upon startup i guess...
This is same theory as congestion charges, at first, there is drop off in traffic, and the designers say "Look, my new policy works!" Then, 6-8 months later, the same people who said "there is no way I'm paying 10 quid for the privilege of driving in this congested city", begin to rationalize the cost, and start driving again. So the obvious thing to do is raise the congestion charge.. Brilliant! Now rinse and repeat...
Uhmmm, there is NO way a naval ship could gather and process algae to make its own fuel, the algae used in biofuels is genetically bred to produce meaningful quantities, and even that is a crap shoot, look up the probs algae farms have, plus the lag time and facilities to process, it is NEVER going to be feasible for ships at sea.
the ISS is a perfect mold growth meduim, damp, coolish in temp, why do think Mir was allowed to crash and burn, the mold was getting out of control.no matter how you clean, how much you inspect what goes in, mold spores are VERY hard to contain, I would think even cobalt irradiation of supplies wouldnt get everything.....

At 100 million per aircraft I would hate to see your definition of expensive!
Mac= form over function, they would rather have a pretty machine thats underspecced than an ugly powerhouse.
