nope. on IE7 the main page breaks somewhere below the middle, showing a couple of mangled, unreadable posts. And both categories of tags (user and mainstream iirc) are shown side by side, with no spaces in between.

I guess checking the new layout on IE browsers was not a chance here, right?

Can you please tell us where the 'science' part is?

It's fiction, ok, but to me it seems more like religion / mythology than Science Fiction.

Well, I DID tested cod4 on vista, and I should tell ya that (in my isolate case) it runs ALOT better than xp. I have just 768MB of RAM (below recommended settings) and on xp each levels took ages to load (and it was so terrible that the audio was directly shut out). In vista, they load an order of magnitude faster and with no sound glitches. Oh, I didn't even have vista recommended memory settings.

Now come here and tell me you run seamlessly 8-bit games in yar linux dosbox. Meh.

it seems no spanish readers so far!! have anybody noticed that "Preso" means "convict" in spanish? you know, someone who has no freedom. BTW, as someone pointed out, PowerPoint is also dead for me but I mean dead as a working tool, not as a standard for the jurassic concept of "slideshow". Today I made a .pps (well, the client specifically asked for it) drawing all slides in CorelDraw, exporting them as .jpg and importing them on the PowerPoint file. As result, you sure get a heavier file but the antialiasing is fair and you can forget about the rendering font, bullet, positioning, formula, etc...

Excuse me dude, but it seems you are confining your analysis to the US territory.
No doubt MS is no perfect at all, but you should compare the technology embracement variables with another countries, I mean, another cultures.

We are all using your shoddy MS stuff, worldwide, it just happens that another people, with another average level of culture, may arrange themselves to adapt and adopt technology, widely, better and faster. And that's the point of TFA. It says only half the americans embrace techology.
