Seems to me they should stop trying to pound that square peg into the round hole on this one and (re)build their own damn network where they control all the access points, instead of taking ours.
With an annual budget of only 0.7% of the total federal budget (roughly $16.8 billion) and working against a $3-5 billion projected shortfall for fiscal years 2006-2010, I seriously doubt they could afford it.
Whether or not that image should be considered child porn should be up to the courts to decide.

And clearly a jailbroken iPhone is required to install Intelliscreen.

I think not. The top of page 14 of the schematic reads "SHEET18-20 deleted for NDA" I wanna build my own GSM_MEMORY and transceiver modules, dammit! Seriously as a CET, I've had to deal with these "black box" schematics for years. Makes it much more difficult for troubleshooting when you don't know the internals. Perhaps the OP should have read "Open down to the point that it doesn't reveal the chip manufacturers IP."
The technique is called ducking. Be sure to set the release to several seconds on the compressor or there is a chance that the compressor will "pump" or "breathe" the entertainment audio if there are any pauses in the conversation. It may, however be better for you to control your audio level manually, because the undesired audio will not lower in volume until your first word is spoken resulting in a definately audible distraction. You could get around that by using a compressor with a VCA control input connected to a phone line in use detector (eliminating the LED and routing those connections to the compressor's VCA control input) , but I suspect this is overkill. Just use the faders.
It's not stealing as copying does not deprive the original owner of anything. ..
Except, of course, the money I might have received for the sale of my work. This attitude, imho, is what has killed PC gaming. If, however, you were to copy a game that you had actually paid for in the first place, I would have no problem, as long as it is for your personal use (i.e. your not giving your copy away).
