It was fun! I don't quite recall the year but around 5th or 6th grade (an american school) We were given many fun jobs to do in HyperCard. I had already been having a bunch of fun at home on an IBM PS/2 Model 50z, with things like GEOWORKS, and dialing in to AOL 1.4 with my 9600 baud XOOM modem. HyperCard was a fun new challenge! I quickly learned to 'hack' in HyperCard, doing things like learning from the Animation code in the examples and applying it to my own projects, which impressed the instructor. I was suddenly teaching the instructor and referred to by the instructor when other students asked how to 'make things move like that skateboard'.
I think we should pay attention to one of the words being used a lot here SECURITY.
when we think of the DRUG WAR, and ending it or not we are talking about JOB SECURITY.... i know, its different but that just may be one of the biggest reasons for it continuing: (job) security.
It is hard for me to understand the logic that once a new test is created that everything is incompatible again.. Doesn't everything still pass the acid2? I thought that the acid tests were testing stuff that was already supposed to be an included feature to see if it worked. the acid test itself isnt REALLY what determines standards compliance.... is it?!
Just imagine how crazy this would look to someone from 1950.. "Oh yes! we went to the Moon 40 years ago... this rocket is on its way to Mars.. Now, look to your left and you'll see our amazing new state of the art roller coaster escape system"
Come on NASA you can do better than this.. it is nearly 2010 !
I don't get it. Who really cares if the 'other 80+%' switch or not ? I know I don't ! I just use firefox.. I am not on some campaign to change the world.. This is the same thing that bugs me with a lot of open source projects, (Linux for example) the constant argument that "WE" 'are never going to get the rest of the world' and grandma and grandpa to switch...
Is it REALLY in the general user of firefox's interest to have everyone on the planet using it ? There is a large base of users now that get the bug fixing process handled..
No more world domination fantasies ! I think firefox is doing fine as it is..

I think it shows a large amount of disrespect toward parents (and adult gamers) all over to have a Judge/Plaintiff deciding what is good or bad for the public when it comes to video games or art or entertainment.
American radar wrongly detects a russian attack and sends off the planes with the nukes to russia, problem comes up and the planes cannot be stopped even after the realization it was a mistake..
Bombs dropped on Moscow, the president of the USA tries to convince Russians that it was an accident, he decides the only way to convince russia (and stop a total nuclear war) was to bomb America itself.. film ends with New York being nuked.. crisis avoided..

Think of the children!
You want it that the only people with knives would be adults? We all know what adults do to children!
The kids need knives as well.
It is better as an inside joke. Don't you know anything? Coward?
I AM OFFENDED. I love eagles more than the next lemur. Please. Do not put us in such a bad light.

yes I remember it, but, I disagree,.. it is nothing like it.
Why put it in the options menu when it is in about:config ? Do you propose that every possible option/config change should go into the options menu ?
