I live in Nebraska and follow the Bruins. During the regular season, if they are on NHLN or NBCSN, I usually just suck it up and don't watch unless I'm somewhere they're playing it in a restaurant. Right now, I'm listening to the games via Internet radio. Rest assured, if they get to the Finals, I'll be in a sports bar watching every game.
I pay for Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, NHL Center Ice, and per episode subscription for the few TV shows that I consider not worth waiting for to have the season released for "free" to the aforementioned services when they are not available on Hulu. I still save more doing it this way than I would spending money for over 1000 channels I have no desire to pay for or watch.
I'm not sure if I'd call having twenty-one different email systems a bug, but it is definitely inefficient. A bug is something that is an error in a program, not an error in the implementation of a program.
I remember when the community broke the TI-92. What did TI do then? Release an upgraded version of it and made it easier ton write in assembly. What happened, TI? I no longer need your calculator products, but this is a sad thing to see.
This is true. The developer (a student in the 25A Functional Area 53 (IT) officer's course) is not an Army developer, but is working on apps to show they can be of use to the Army. I know that I've use the PT app on more than one occasion and have looked at the others. There is a small group of the students who do the programming. My guess is that the main owner of FA53 is a Lutheran and thus wanted that published. Probably should have used a different account, but I'm not worried about it.
About her math teacher. I think that it is dumb for the very same reason that these kids got in trouble. But, in retrospect, I'm 31 and she is 13 and I certainly wouldn't have made the connection that saying my math teacher was stupid on the Internet would have major ramifications at that age either.
I bought my last laptop from Best Buy. It wasn't for me, it was for my wife. She's perfectly happy with all the crapware that's installed. I shudder at it. The computer I purchased for myself came from a military base and was too (probably) loaded with junk. I wouldn't know. I had wiped it before I even had a chance to read the Vista license agreement. Now that said system dual boots Windows 7 and Ubuntu. Not a single bit of crapware in sight on either one.
Oh, as for my wife's system, the only thing I did when she wasn't looking was remove Norton and put in Microsoft Security Essentials. She hasn't noticed a thing.
I'm majoring in MIS at a university where Statistics is a required core course for every major, including the computer programmers. All along, I didn't get why I have to take it. I am now, and hopefully will get through it. I'd like my degree.
Proof, please. Imagining the worst possible motives and threats when you don't know what really went on is absolutely disgusting.
Proof is nonexistent, and probably always will be. You want proof? Next time someone gets sued by (insert big evil corporation here), make sure they have the funds to go to court. Settling prevents anything from becoming public record.

See? We are the only place in the universe that can sustain life.
So use $2 bills!
Tell that to Samus Aran.
Funny, here I am wearing an Apple store Augusta shirt.

To the general public. Search for developer FA53 on the market.

Heh. When I was on Myspace, the first thing I did was defriend him.
Wait... pedophile + rapist = suspension, while bipolar = expulsion? Where is the logic in that one?

It's not the arsenic that kills you, it's the old lace.
Then why do 16 year-olds take Driver's Ed?
I believe you mean "you shouldn't have to know how to replace a cracked head gasket in order to drive a car" or something along those lines.

No, but it can walk through walls.
Rename it to Legend of Grizelda,
So it's going to star The Monkee's aunt? I'd think she'd be dead by now.

XKCD seems to think you can.
Careful with that. His publishers did actually sue for copyright infringement.
I think I found what you're looking for.
If my lawn got mowed at ludicrous speed, I'd be a happy man. I just would want to watch so I could see the plaid streaks flying about my yard.
