I knew Billy was peeved about pirates but I didn't know he went as far as having his on fleet of warships. Come on I know I couldn't be the first to make this connection.

"SCOdotnot really news to nobody that cares"
This is the fourth story about SCO in less than two weeks I think. I mean we get it SCO sucks IBM is going to win. I know I can't be alone on this.
I refuse to camp out for either system. I got burned with my 360. I live in a small town and I only had to wait in line about two hours to get my 360 but after playing it for three days I got the "Three red lights". So I called tech support and about an half and hour later they told me to expect a box in the mail to return my system. So I packed up my system and sent it off to the Holy land of Microsoft and about a week later I hade a refurbished 360 sans my hard drive which I had also sent back. So after about two days I was on the phone again with "three red lights". I did the routine all over again and about a week later had a new 360 this time. I then called back a thrid time to ask about my hard drive, they gave me a hard time about not calling back sooner (I expected that they might send it back with my new 360). Then two days later I recieved a hard drive with no indication if it was new or refurbished but I was just glad to have a complete system again. I've been happy with my 360 now, but I'm going to let other people discover that just spent 600 dollars on a terd. After they get the kinks worked out and maybe after the holiday rush I might pick up the Wii.
Right now I work in a school system that has over a thousand pcs, 6 novell servers, and only 4 IT staff. And it just works. Granted it's different than your situtation, that we don't have to deal with clients in the normal sense. Then again it's not so different, we have to make our administrators at each school happy or else the crap will hit the fan.
The biggest advice I could give would be training, when I first started a year ago I had about 3 days training and I was left on my own at the school I'm over. Not that anything was that difficult to administrate, it was just getting to know the school and users in the school. Next thing would have to be automation. While the school's technology department can only buy so much, I mainly use Ghost since all the desktops are Windows. Having to reimage an entire lab of thirty computers is a whole lot easier than to reinstall the whole lab.
Also make sure you have a someone that specializes in the different areas of IT. For example until I arrived the school system had to outsource configuring a few simple routes on a Cisco router at $100 an hour. We have someone who has had many years of hardware repair experience.
if XM uses a few frequncies that they shouldn't and the ones that they should the boost the power I don't see any harm in that
*Twitch*this brought to you by Mountain Dew*Twitch* I mean really come on.
Any repetable domain resaler shouldn't allow the sale of common misspellings of major corporations. Any reseller with half a brain should be able to tell that www.mispelledcreditcard.com domain bought by any other party other than the owner of the correct domain name as something Phisy (sorry couldn't help myself).
That pretty soon will have super-mega-corporations such as Microsoggle or Googlesoft. Those sound like some strange Danish name for impotence.
Anyhow.. Google has already dropped the ball as far as online applications, with the acquistion of Writely and Google spreadsheets, calendar, and email already so previlant. Microsoft needs to get on their game to keep up in the online application market.
I personally use ASSP for my spam filtering. I use the SPF vailidation, RBL, Spam bucket address, multiple HELO checks, and of course Bayseian filtering. I've found that with all of this I've yet to see a spam mail in my inbox with 40+ days of uptime. Before I started using ASSP I would probably recieve two to three spams a day.
You mean to tell me that Microsoft is attempting to hide code that would allow third parties to produce valuable software that is of far greater value than what ships with Microsoft.
By this I mean posting an article stating free pr0n at your oppositions website therefore bringing that server to its knees for weeks.
I think I might have a name for this:
Slashdotters flock to website to download all the free pr0n they can handle and therefore Deny the server for what it does best, provide Services, and by posting on/. nerds Distrubuted all around the world will unite for one cause FREE PR0N.
I know we should call it/.ed
Did the cake read
"Congrats for releasing a product that actually made us get up off our asses and do some work around here. The IE team."
Of course that would be a lot of cake real estate that could otherwise be decorated with pretty flowers and pictures of slain foxes.
rather than a designation for canned spicy ham
As we all know Spam most certainly does not contain any ham or any kind but instead contains copious amounts of "Peckers" according to Billy Bob Thorton. UmmHumm
Does this mean that this toy that I've been playing with for the last 10 years is meant to actually do work? You mean someone actually uses a computer for something other than a medium on which to either view HIS/her favorite pr0n, or to waste ten hours a day gaining levels in WoW?
Why am I asking so many questions? Why can't I stop? Oh Hell?
The company is constructing a 30-acre data center along the Columbia River in The Dalles, Ore., where it can get low-priced hydroelectric power for computing and cooling.
Now Google will not only control our email, calendars, and search data but also our water supply. When will it end?
Now that would be one hell of a water cooling setup.
I mean what happens when some kid builds a super evil genuis type robotic menace and goes on a killing rampage. The worst that could happen with the lincoln logs was maybe a bad splinter. That said I WANT to build that super evil genuis robot, but only use it's powers for the good of mankind (yeah right).
I knew Billy was peeved about pirates but I didn't know he went as far as having his on fleet of warships. Come on I know I couldn't be the first to make this connection.
Blue collar prison with conjugal visits. People like this need to go to federal prison, where they might be complimented on the beauty of their mouth.
Two RIAA goons enter a record store.

First Goon(to second Goon): Quick take this sharpie here and start writing new prices on the CDs
Second Goon: What? Sorry I was distracted by the shiny quarter
In best Godfather type voice
You got yourself a nice domain there, it would be a shame if anything happened to it.

How about 3 bucks?

No not our precious little Billy boy.
As everyone knows the most effective birth control is a simple click away to /. land, now if that could only be put in pill form.
I called it first I'm going to get all the money, no one else can have it.
It's my idea, mine I tell you, MINE.
"the system reboots and you get your first taste of Oracle Linux. It's pink... bright shining pink,[Grub]"

Maybe it's not such a good idea after all.
May I take a message?
It feels sooooo good.
