If you are using something that requires a lot of bandwidth (crazy serving and say CAD) then Rambus is crazy fast. However, in the real world - as the article says - its latency that is king.
Btw - I had a lot of [H]s in my submission so all of us OCP'ers (you are out there) can rest assured I Tried
I recently got me a pair of Cue Kitties and have had a ball with the mIRC script and excell cataloging all my DivX rips and namely my Mp3 cds as well as my music cds and dvds. Barcodes on everything and using my own derived DewDecimal system.
What im looking to help with or find is someone that has preferably web based (i am stuck in windows, sorry) or windows based (agian, sorry) that works with bar code scanners (and you could say an unauthorized 'hack' for the cue cat) to scan and look up barcodes and also, print them to labels.
Would be fun and nice for my 300+ discs I have around here, not to mention nice for when I let people borrow my cds!
... for me - Dare was VERY effective. The officers seemed to really care etc. However, if say you come from an area where you were raised to distrust cops and all then you prolly wouldnt listen to them. They do have bad ass cars though.
Thats what i was thinking -- this news came out on shugashack, bluesnews, and even [h]ard|ocp had it over a month ago. Of course I submit a story about sex in space it gets rejected -- someone submits a story thats a month old -- it gets in. Maybe I should re submit?
Problem I face
I try to live Catholocism to its fullest
However, I say this and everyone in the tech world that is so open minded to all the 'fringe' ideas calls me an idiot for being 'traditional' etc.
BULL... shit
So even though it will be in the open, can I still use it and call it a strong encryption technique and then when anyone who has been in Calc 1 can crack it, I mean reverse engineer it, can I still sue them thanks to the wonderful (ha) DMCA?
There is something about animie (I even spell that right?) that I just 'dont like'. I have enjoyed as a child many hours of animation bliss, but all of it being your standard classic disney type animation. I somewhat enjoyed Toy Story and Toy Story 2. With animie, I simply dont like the look or the feel (big eyes, blue hair oval mouth? Crack baby?) nor especially the story lines. What is strange is I think Im the only one like this in the under 28yrs of Age tech ind.
True that. However, if it wasnt open source -- would the problem have been found and made public? Or would it have been another bug never found, never abused? Oh talk amungst yourselves.
Really in the current CPU market it is quite needed a CPU that can handle loads and levels such as these. With the line in between high-end server and high-end gaming becoming unclear (Friend and his pair of CuMine 700s for gaming) it is nice to see -- for now -- a pure business server CPU.
When I first got Linux a few years ago it was a fight b/w people for me to go redhat or slackware. I eventually went red hat because of support w/ books etc. However -- what are the advantages to slackware? Btw -- yey
I did read the article. Ive seen a matrix theme (to go back to that) where the matrix logo was used. It was called "the matrix" theme too. Also, sounds from the movie were used. This seems to me enough where you could get it yanked under very similar ideals.
If apple con stop and force themes off, then now what is stopping movie companies from stoping themes based on movies? Such as the common fav matrix theme (dont know why) things that Im sure the producers and the file company would love to see removed and then paid for.
That is IT! I am sick of people using MY NAME for their own benefit. Im talking to my lawyer. Oh yeah -- Hemos -- no more using the word rosewood on the front page w/o my permission. }:P
