Re:Anonymous is for cows.
The first 13 characters of Anonymous Coward are Anonymous Cow. Coincidence? I think not!

Re:Waiting for the inevitable clusterf__k
That's why I'll keep using old-school serial and parallel ports forever!
Wait... I mean old-school, 19200 bps DB-9 serial ports and full-duplex centronics parallel ports... I guess things weren't simple back then either.

Re:Mac ?
Macs don't even ship with either Flash or Java these days and Java 7 is too recent compared to the last version that was included. I think it's a non-issue for the majority of Mac users.
-
I don't care how Sprint "sees it"
It's not their devices and they should not be installing software without the express permission of their owners.
-
Re:Oxidizer
Of course they would not, as they obviously wouldn't speak english.

Re:You Tar Sands, Me Thane
You laugh, but worms and spices is probably on the menu somewhere in Asia.

Re: FYI: Titan is second largest in Solar System
Which is also the reason why Pluto is still a planet, damnit!
-
Re:[Titan sands] ... blown by the wind on Earth
I can't wait until 2620 so people stop making that stupid joke once and for all.
-
Re:Oil?
That's one more reason not to go there!

Re:Sirens
Best moo-related comment so far.

Re:Some strong winds
I wonder if Rowan Atkinson's character got its name because he farts a lot.

Re:Bombs are easy to detect (now)
Dude, this is Slashdot. Stop making sense and using facts.

How big is this?
I get that these are 'deep' magma chambers, but without context it doesn't really help - How big are they relative to other volcanos? Are they massive on a volcanic scale or is this something you'd expect to see under any volcano? Put it to me in units I can understand. How many ford tauruses or milliyellowstones is this?

WoW64?
I think World of Warcraft has been a 64-bit application for quite some time now.

Re:Why do we still use MPG?
Indeed. Even though it's supposed to be a metric country, Canada looks more like the USA.
-
Stupid remote
The requirement to be able to play games using that stupid remote shows how little Apple knows about gaming.
-
Re:Why do we still use MPG?
We should use a different system of units for things being exported to the USA, just to show them how annoying it is to have to convert to another system when we're dealing with their products. For example, instead of measuring in centimetres and inches, sell them products measured in centimetres and fingerbreadths.

Re:New Zealand
Perhaps New Zealand could offer Mr. Snowden citizenship as he has shown that he is willing to suffer for the public good.
Is New Zealand that bad?
-
Oh boy
Cue the comments about angry people switching from RedHat to another Linux distro.
-
Re:Why do we still use MPG?
Surely you meant KKV.
-
Neuroscience to improve ads?
We have ads everywhere these days, except in our dreams.
-
Why do we still use MPG?
I was under the impression that MP4 took over a decade ago.

Re:Oldie but Goodie
Q: How many racists can you fit in a black hole?
A: All of them. -
Re:40 pounds?
If the robots can squirt cum, you can be sure the perverts will fuck with them.
-
You know what's really strange about DMCA?
If you remove the last letter, you get DMC, a.k.a. DeLorean Motor Company. And if you replace the first letter you get YMCA.
-
Re:If it ain't broke...
Your knowledge of "basic economics" is bullshit and worthless. You can drive up productivity with machines, which cuts jobs and replaces skilled workers with less educated people at lower wages.
-
Re:The land of ATMs on holiday
Cash is still used exclusively for most things? In the country where you can pay for the bus and vending machines with your cellphone?
-
Let the games begin
One $150 million dollar F-35 airplane vs 100 explosive drones costing 1000$ each.
Too expensive? Fine! Build your own weather balloons, with explosives!
In fact, forget the F-35 and the explosives...
-
Re:Actors?
Your argument would be solid, except for the fact that not everyone drives a Honda.
-
Better remove your files before 2016
These changes will roll out in "early 2016," and users will have up to a year to get down under the new caps.
Otherwise, they'll delete all your shit!

Firefox 42 arrives
But unfortunately, it's not the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything.

ImageOptim
If your computer runs OS X, you can use ImageOptim to easily remove the metadata from your JPEG photos without re-compressing them.

That's not an ad, it's a referral link.

Re:Gay Kay Kay?
Some straight men, on the other hand, care a lot about lesbians. It makes for very interesting videos.
-
Re:As a Linux refugee, I'd seriously consider OS/2
What about BeOS/Haiku?
-
Re:Change the interface!
I'd still take the Windows 3.11-like interface than the default Fisher-Price look of Windows XP.
-
Re:As a Linux refugee, I'd seriously consider OS/2
Even OS X has become bloated in the last few updates. I think the last true great one was Snow Leopard, maybe Mountain Lion.
-
Re:Editing?
This is interesting, but maybe we could have some grammatical editing before throwing up a story on the main page?
I think that's exactly how they upload their stories.
-
Re:OS/2 is still alive?
Amigas and C/64 machines playing block/character graphics games.
Amiga, block/character games? You obviously haven't grown up with computers from that era, because the C/64 had graphics that were way ahead of the other similar 8-bit computers and the Amiga had the best graphics of them all. The competition at the time was the Color Computer 2, the TI-99/4A, the PC with either Hercules, CGA or EGA graphics, the Mac with black and white graphics or the Atari ST with much fewer colours on the screen.
Both the C/64 and the Amiga were king of their own class of computers. That is, until Commodore sat on their asses and everybody passed way ahead of them.

Re:Easiest technical solution for this
No idea how bad Apple's implementation is, but I know every Android device I've used has either had non-existent support or barely functional implementations that were obviously set up and then forgotten about.
Your only experience is with Android devices, which are bad based on your own comment, so you assume that Apple's devices are crap too. You are the perfect definition of a fanboy.

Re:Who is to say that this "list" is legit at all?
You mean the same journalistic control the other journalists use in 2015, which is "I've read about it on the Internet"?
-
Re:Irony
But I do think there's an Anonymous Coward group on Slashdot, they keep posting crap every single day!
