I'm afraid the Daily Mail was mistaken (it's a terrible paper; seriously, it's a celeb gossip rag -- don't quote from it). What the columnist was referring to was this
See in 2007 when there was a record low? The article you link to was written in 2010, so all they had was 2008 and 2009 data. See how those are both higher than 2007?
Now, those are the data that columnist is referring to. Look at it yourself. Do you think that it was honestly interpreted by the Daily Mail? Would *you* have presented those data as a trend of increasing ice?

Re:Diesel
That's why the rest of the world uses the Liter, no confusion about it!
No, they use it because they were forced at gunpoint by their governments to use it. If you doubt this, just try to sell using pounds and ounces in certain metric countries.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1078648/Victory-Metric-Martyrs-finally-win-right-sell-fruit-veg-pounds-ounces.html
The metric system has its flaws, base 10 being only divisible by 10, 5 and 2 before having to use awkward decimals, since fractions are "officially" not allowed in metric measurements. (Though people use them anyway.) There is a reason that every civilization based its measurements using a number base that was divisible by at least 4 units, the foot is divisible 5 different ways without using fractions; 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12. Then metric unit sizes are often awkward for everyday use. Try building a shed or cut drywall using centimeters/millimeters vs feet and inches by memory. Metric units don't fit in the brains short term memory like imperial measurements do. Young carpenters in Canada still use feet and inches. No surprise given that it was designed by intellectuals who never worked a day in their life and who gave us other great things, like the Reign of Terror and Napoleon. -

Like maybe Michael Brewer, burned nearly to death and permanently crippled by five Black boys. Brewer (was) White; he's now a mass of scar tissue, nearly died of heart and kidney failure, will never: A. have a girlfriend, B. be able to hold a job, C. live much past 30. All because his mother wasn't smart enough to move out of an area with a lot of Black underclass kids. Will Smith's kids won't set your son on fire, but the underclass is another story. There was another incident in Kansas City.
Yeah I get it, typical SWPL: HATE HATE HATE Beta White males, love "diversity" which equals, for most White guys not in a group, being a target. The feral underclass, like Shawn Tyson, age 16 who gunned down two White British Tourists in Sarasota Florida for not having money when he robbed them, or Tyrone Woodfork (and his five still uncaught accomplices) who raped, beat to death, an 86 year old Tulsa OK woman named Nancy Strait, and put her 90 year old Battle of the Bulge husband in critical condition (both are White by the way) is something out of the ordinary.
Black underclass men (and women) ARE a menace. Everyone with any sense knows it. It was not always this way and likely has something to do with single motherhood (90% of Ghetto kids are illegitimate).
Reality check: as a semi-attractive (hence the HATE HATE HATE for Beta White males) woman, you don't face the same environment your son will. If he's alone, and passing by a frat house, no problem. He's just a guy. If he passes by Tyrone Woodfork, or Shawn Tyson, or any of the five Black guys who nearly burned to death Michael Brewer, he's an easy target for a beating, or worse. Underclass Black guys are stupid, violent, and have no idea of the future. Mostly, that gets them laid, regularly. They get caught pretty quick, not any help if your son is burned to a crisp or worse. [Who the hell beats and rapes an 86 year old woman, and shoots her 90 year old husband? For a crummy 12 year old car and $200 in valuables? Whitey Bulger may have been a stone-cold killer, but he never did a murder that was not locked down to avoid getting caught and high reward. It is the violent stupidity of the moment that the Black underclass lives in that makes them uber-dangerous. They really don't care if they get caught, so have no limits.]
You want Grand-kids? You better give your kid "the Talk." Nothing Derb said, was untrue. Nothing Derb said, either, contradicts how most all White people live their lives. I don't see too many people choosing to live in Marion "Dirty Asians" Berry's district. Note Black voters returned this clown to office again and again.
Derb got fired for exposing the hypocrisy of White urban liberals seen here in so many comments. Who take elaborate pains to befriend intelligent Blacks, as social positioning, avoid the Black violent underclass and politicians (almost all of whom are not only corrupt but stupidly so), and masses of Black underclass.
I want to thank you for your comment. It is exhibit A in how stunning the complete absorption of double-think, espouse one way and live another, is among the SWPL set. Also, the complete denial that life as a semi-hot chick eliciting cat-calls from drunk fratboys is not the same as getting beaten, robbed, and stripped naked by a Black mob in Baltimore, for being White. Ask yourself this, do you want that for your Son? Or is your moral positioning and vanity more important than your son? [My guess is the former outweighs the latter.]

What's that? You think in black-and-white, and therefore believe if I hate Obama I must automatically love Reagan/Bush? Well, color me UNsurprised (lots of black-and-white thinkers in the world). The fact is: I don't see any difference between Bush/Obama/Romney. They all look alike, and the first two should be tried for war crimes.
And here are the flags of al-Queda flying over Libya's government buildings; Obama/Sarkozy helped a terrorist organization take over and called it "victory". Re:Few to admit it, but a lot of parents teach thi
In the interest of completeness it should be pointed out that one of the kids instructed his buddies to "take him [the victim] down," at which point the victim told them to "Remember Trayvon." It was after that they the beating started and one of the kids reportedly said "this is for Trayvon." The article at the Daily Mail states that the police don't know if the attack was racially motivated or if they interpreted "Remember Trayvon" as a racist remark. So to suggest that this was some kind of reverse lynch mob is a bit of a stretch, which of course does not prevent the Daily Mail from labeling it a 'twisted racial revenge' attack.

Re:More iffy Slashdot editorial
IE wasn't really beaten with standards-supporting strategy, it was beaten with heavy marketing.
During Firefox days this was mostly done by fanboys. I'm sure you have seen those fanboys shouting out how great browser Firefox is (was) and even going out on their way to install it on all computers at their schools and other places, usually without permission. The most nerdy ones in my class did it too, and the whole internet was heavily spammed with "get firefox" shit back in 2005 or so.
Now during Chrome days, the marketing is handled by Google on their search engine, YouTube, ads on television and even billboards and newspapers, and by paying computer manufacturers and software authors to bundle it with their products. As most people are clueless this has greatly increased Chromes market share.
IE9 is also actually a really good browser. And, One of the largest research centers on Earth is Microsoft Research, and in my honest opinion they deserve some credit for that. No other company on the planet spends billions on R&D.
This lines well with Bill Gates support for helping the humankind. Did you know that Bill Gates has actually spend more on curing the world than U.S. spends on foreign aid? Since 2007 he has given out $28 BILLION for saving lives and improving actually necessary things.
Even if you hate Microsoft and Bill Gates, you cannot ignore the fact that for once there's a billionaire who has actually used his cash reserves for great good. Compare this to the Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin who use their shady money got from selling your private information for buying 193-foot long yachts and marrying models (Lucinda Southworth), similar to what MPAA/RIAA/record label executives do. -

trial by media
In a case like this, I'd trust the statements of anyone who didn't have a motive to lie... which to me means anyone but George Zimmerman we can assume to be completely honest with what they believe they saw or heard. Mr Zimmerman's statements must be corroborated by facts.
Regarding the injuries to Mr Zimmerman, police and medical reports indicate a broken nose and gash on the back of his head. Video can be seen of officers examining the back of his head, and images released by abcnews seem to confirm that. Unless completely destroyed, a broken nose could very well be hard to see in that video. Nothing seems to contradict the injury claims in my opinion.
Regarding the voice fingerprinting claiming that the voice was not Mr Zimmerman, I find those claims suspect at best. The results show a 48% match based on background noise in 911 calls vs 911 calls made by Mr Zimmerman himself. A more apt comparison might be made by setting those results side by side against results from samples of Mr Martin's voice. But given the distortion in both sources of audio, the level of background noise, the distance from the event, the types of speech (screaming vs speaking... note the trouble voice identification software when it comes to identifying singers) and the state of voice wreckognition, I doubt we can pull meaningful evidence from computer recognition results.
Regarding the girlfriend of Mr Martin's phone conversation, I believe her factual statements are credible. She basically says that Travon saw a guy following him, lost him, and there was a confrontation where Trayvon asks "why are you following me?" and Zimmerman asks "what are you doing here?", followed by the start of a fight. There obviously is no clear way to determine who threw the first punch from those tapes.
Regarding the eye witnesses to the fight, one eye witness couldn't see much because it was so dark, but he thought he saw a man in red on the ground (zimmerman was wearing red). Media reports are sketchy, but a possible second eye witness in the same story backs Zimmerman's version of events. The bodily injuries, police reports indicating that Zimmerman appeared to be wet with grass stains, like he had been lying down with his back on the ground, and limited witness accounts seem to support the Zimmerman version, at least at some point during the confrontation.
What can we say with some level of certainty? Zimmerman called police to report a suspicious person, and began to follow him. At some point, Trayvon recognized that some random guy is following him, tells his girlfriend as much, and loses him around a corner. This is also confirmed on the police tape of the call that Mr Zimmerman made. Zimmerman is heard telling the police where to meet him, and he doesn't want to give out his full address while he doesn't know where Martin is. Martin tells the cops to call him when they arrive. At some point, Martin asks the guy why he is following him, and Zimmerman asks him what hes doing around there, and a fight breaks out, ending the call with Martin's girlfriend. The background audio in a 911 call picks up, we can hear a

Problem with this...
...from my 37 years on this rock, I've seen the descriptor of ASD go from savant to a whole swathe of "abnormality", from minor zoneouts (such as I have frequently) to total withdrawal (which I have in times of extreme stress). All have been applied to me in passing although I've never had anything like an official diagnosis. I used to act out at school, not because I was ADHD (as false a diagnosis as MSbP), but because I was bored: I had already learned what the teachers were trying to teach me. Problem was, as is common today, the school teaches at the rate of the slowest kid in class. I could think faster than all those kids, even the teachers, combined. So according to them I was the one with the problem - in a way they were right. They were holding me back.
It's not mental illness, it's a defence mechanism.
Back to the topic: ASD/ADHD/AS descriptors have become so diluted over the years, the terms could be applied to anybody. Have you checked out the standard mental health questionnaires? So full of leading questions, you couldn't say no to more than half of them - which is pretty much a guarantee that in any given situation, you could be assessed as having traits of some debilitating mental illness or other that would disqualify you from mixing in public. It's used in the UK on a regular basis to remove children from parents where in fact there is absolutely nothing wrong with the parents, yet one simple questionnaire that takes five minutes to answer ticks the boxes of psychotic, MSbP, NPD, ASPD, any number of "diagnoses" that immediately justifies the forced separation of families.
What we have now is those diagnoses being publicly scrutinised as it's now emerged that the assessments have been carried out by persons unqualified to do so, while claiming that they are qualified. Roy Meadow, Andrew Kawalek, Bruno Bettelheim, David Southall (just some names off the top of my head and I have extensive files on those and more) - all frauds, and provably so. Dangerous ones at that. All have had their hand in removal of many thousands of children from their families on the basis of fabricated mental illness. Southall does not even have a degree, yet he is on the GMC roll as a practising psychologist with license to carry out drug experiments on children. Gentlemen and ladies, I bullshit ye not.

Re:Safety
If there was the remotest chance their $millions worth of plane and PR could be brought down by your phone no one would be allowed them.
Slashdot has had an influx of non-tech ignoramuses. The fact is that there are distinct and well known reasons why there is electronics ban. Besides interfering with navigation, they can potentially interfere with communications with the control tower.
Electronic devices were designed not with airplanes in mind, but rather with a minimum amount of care that a consumer device requires.
FTA;
I don't buy that there is any interference issue, at least not in general,
The problem is we don't want airplane systems to withstand EMI "in general," we demand "perfect" operations so there can be a "perfect" safety record. Not just "in general" safe.

Re:Lower than apartment building?
I just had a similar discussion with Slashdot's "Tunneling Under London" story, in terms of what fortification was possible and whether it was enough. Perhaps if they can fortify tunnels that well, they could fortify mountain dwellings.
Or just use the tunneling machine to build fortified tunnels that would make great, cheap, near-limitless low-income housing. If a thousand people are willing to live in the flooding sewers underneath Las Vegas, this would make for a much better alternative.

Re:Apple Customers
Here are some links. Overall debt.
Overdraft statistics:
There's more; in fact there was a report just in the last week or two that I'm having trouble finding now about overdraft history (I think in the UK) showing iPhone owners as the most irresponsible spenders. It's really not surprising though: iPhones are trendy. Irresponsible people buy trendy things they can't afford. All iPhone users aren't irresponsible, obviously, but the irresponsible ones will go for the biggest, showiest bling for their buck.
What's funny is that Apple fans want to have it both ways: they want to be the most popular, but don't want to acknowledge that being the most popular always gets you a bunch of bandwagoners on board. I don't really care how popular it is; my beef with Apple lies elsewhere. But the failure to acknowledge the 'faddiness' of iPhones is about like failing to acknowledge that the Nintendo Wii was a pretty huge fad for a while, and lots of people just bought one because everyone else was buying one.

Psychiatry/psychology, to help all the people who feel that this sort of thing actually makes their lives relevant somehow (generally the same types of people who measure their self-worth by the numbe of "friends" they have on facebook or other anti-social media.
And what to do about the people who think putting down others somehow makes their lives relevant?
I guess you missed the study that showed that facebook users are insecure, narcissistic, and have low self-esteem.
Using Facebook is the online equivalent of staring at yourself in the mirror, according to a study.
Those who spent more time updating their profile on the social networking site were more likely to be narcissists, said researchers.
Facebook provides an ideal setting for narcissists to monitor their appearance and how many âfriendsâ(TM) they have, the study said, as it allows them to thrive on âshallowâ(TM) relationships while avoiding genuine warmth and empathy.
The findings, published in the journal Cyberpsychology, Behaviour And Social Networking, also suggested that those with low self-esteem also checked their Facebook pages more regularly than normal.
This may not be altogether surprising as it is widely thought, however contradictory it may appear, that narcissism is linked to a deep-rooted lack of self-esteem.
A study earlier this week showed that the grades of students who use Facebook while they study, even if it is only on in the background, are 20 per cent lower on average than those of non-users.
Methinks thou doth protest too much:-) In other words, your defense of facebook probably indicates that you are insecure, vain, and have a low opinion of yourself.
How is being social and interacting with people "stupid"?
One of the points of the study is that people used facebook as a poor substitute for "being social and interacting with people." It's real name should be "anti-social networking for losers."

"Heartbreaking tragedy: 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was visiting a relative's house in a Florida gated community when he walked to the store to get Skittles and iced tea for his little brother. He never made it home. Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a self-styled neighborhood watch leader, who told police he thought Trayvon was "suspicious" in the mostly-white community.
Unbelievable twist: A man named George Zimmerman allegedly admitted to police that he shot Trayvon Martin in the chest.
Zimmerman claims he acted in self defense, even though police allegedly told him not to do anything until they arrived - and despite the fact that Trayvon was unarmed, carrying only a bag of Skittles when he died.
In the two weeks since Zimmerman allegedly killed Trayvon, police have refused to arrest the confessed killer.
Hope for justice: Sybrina Fulton is Trayvon's mother, and she's leading a campaign on Change.org to get justice for her son.
Tracy knows that if enough people raise an outcry, Sanford, Florida authorities will be forced to investigate Zimmerman the same way they would investigate any confessed killer.
Sign Sybrina's petition calling on the authorities in Florida to charge George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin and try him before a jury of his peers.
---------
Here's a lot more info about Sybrina's campaign, in her own words:
On February 26, my son Trayvon Martin was shot and killed as he walked back from a convenience store where he had just bought some candy. He was only 17 years old.
Trayvon's killer, George Zimmerman, admitted to police that he shot Trayvon in the chest. Zimmerman, the community's self appointed "neighborhood watch leader," called the police to report a suspicious person when he saw Trayvon, a young black man, walking from the store. But Zimmerman, who is white, still hasn't been charged for killing my son.
Trayvon was my hero. At the age of 9, Trayvon pulled his father from a burning kitchen, saving his life. He loved sports and horseback riding. At only 17 he had a bright future ahead of him with dreams of attending college and becoming an aviation mechanic. Now that's all gone.
When Zimmerman reported Trayvon to the police, they told him not to confront him. But he did anyway. All I know about what happened next is that my 17 year-old son, who was completely unarmed, was shot and killed.
I don't know if my family will ever receive justice for this terrible tragedy. It's been nearly two weeks and the Sanford Police have refused to arrest George Zimmerman. In their public statements, they even go so far as to stand up for the killer - saying he's "a college grad" who took a class in criminal justice.
Please join me in calling on the the Sanford Police Department and Florida State's Attorney Norman Wolfinger to investigate my son's death and prosecute George Zimmerman for the shooting and killing of Trayvon Martin."

Another war will make us poor.
Lying to start a war is treason.
In a democracy, government secrecy is treason. Citizens cannot help run the government if they don't have any way to understand what the government is doing.
There is now an extensive public relations campaign in the U.S. to start a war with Iran, using money from U.S. taxpayers. These are some of the players:
1) Those who control the U.S. government want constant war. War creates numerous opportunities for easy profits that can be hidden from taxpayers.
The U.S. government has a long history of using violence. See the Timeline of United States military operations. See also the Military history of the United States. The Bush and Cheney families had, or have, investments in weapons companies. Those in control hid their involvement.
2) Jews want U.S. taxpayers to pay for Israeli security. A better, cheaper, less self-destructive method would be for Jews to be less arrogant and more caring toward their neighbors. The problems between the Jews and the Arabs have existed for more than 3,300 years. The Jews say that they are the "chosen people" of God. The Jews say that Arabs are descended from an illegitimate child of their tribal founder, Abraham, and a slave girl that he owned. Those ancient problems with relationships will not be solved by guys in Washington who often don't even have a good relationship with their wives.
It would be foolish to think that statement is anti-Jew. A war with Iran will likely mean further troubles for Israel because it is likely to escalate the violence in the area. I'm not the only person who thinks that. See the 60 Minutes episode, The Spymaster: Meir Dagan on Iran's threat. Lesley Stahl, 60 Minutes interviewer, does her disgusting "Oh wow, oh wow!" routine, but there is useful information. (The 60 Minutes program needs better editing.)
Quote: "You have said publicly that bombing Iran now is the stupidest idea you've ever heard. That's a direct quote." -- Lesley Stahl, quoting ex-chief of Mossad Meir Dagan. Mossad is an Israeli government agency that rivals the U.S. government for secret violence, as Jeremiah Cornelius said in the parent comment.
There are only 5,874,300 Jews in Israel. There are approximately 5,275,000 Jews in the United States. In some ways, the U.S. is as much of a Jewish country as Israel. It is amazing how much power that small group of 1.7% of has over U.S. government policy. The population of the U.S. is 313 million.
To many people, the idea of 6 million Jews encouraging violence against 1.6 billion Muslims is self-destructive.
It is a mistake to think that all Israeli Jews agree with Israeli or even Jewish policies. For example: Israeli ultra-Orthodox Jews 'harass' 8-year-old girl over dress. Quote: "... 50 people involved in the abuse of an 8-year-old." Also see Israel braced for protests against treatment of women after girl, 8, is spat on by Jewish extremists.
3) The nuclear power industry w -
False flag?
Was it Iran or someone else? It appears most of the hacking (and killing of nuclear power plant scientists) has been done by Israel, Britain, and the U.S.. The more I read the more I think Iran is being used as a patsy by Western warhawks:

Is it really that hard to put 2 and 2 together?
The opening line said "child abuse images". The rest of the article described them as "pornographic images".
Did it ever occur to you that the headline might - just might - have been correct? And then, as the relevant fact had already been stated, it wasn't repeated later in the article?
Heck, you could even do some due diligence and look up a few other sources, mr. "skip the blurb and get to the source". Here's a couple:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2110921/Council-bans-daughter-contact-Nigel-Robinson-child-porn-images.html
"A father has been banned from being alone with his eight-year-old daughter after telling police he accidentally accessed child porn while attempting to download music from the internet."http://legacy.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=170852
"a British man has been banned from being alone with his eight-year-old daughter for up to a year after he accidentally downloaded images of child pornography while attempting to download an album from former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash" -
Re:Ptheh.
The event January 4 was the closest approach of the Moon to the Earth in more than 1,400 years, and it maximized the Moon’s tide-raising forces on Earth’s oceans. That’s remarkable,’ said Texas State physics faculty member Donald Olson.
The 'once-in-many-lifetimes' event brought together the Moon's closest approach to the Earth for 1,400 years, a near encounter between the Earth and the Sun, and a spring tide.
All these factors contributed to abnormally high sea levels which helped dislodge grounded icebergs and send them into the shipping lanes of the North Atlantic, it is claimed.
Normally, icebergs remain in place and cannot resume moving southward until they’ve melted enough to refloat or a high enough tide frees them.

Gingers and Emmett Till
Little known fact: Louis Till, Emmet's father was court-martialed and executed for the rape and murder of Italian women in Citavecchia.
As for anti red-hair "Ginger" stuff, that's only thrown at White guys with red hair. You don't see it directed at: Christina Hendricks, Alyson Hannigan, or Lauren Ambrose. You do see that (often self-directed) at Conan O'Brien. Damien Lewis mostly plays villains because he's red-haired and male. When was the last time you saw a red-haired guy as the HERO in a movie or TV show?
We still put people down (and yes Black people are perfectly capable of setting 13 year old White boys on fire on what appears to be a racially motivated attack as ugly as either Tills). We are not getting "better" and racial hatred, bigotry, and violence have always been part of humanity and embraced and practiced by Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, as well as Whites. Looking for cardboard heroes or villains will just get you disappointed. As will any utopian ideas of a best of all possible worlds.
Let's be honest. Anti-Ginger stuff is just another code for "I don't like White guys with red hair." Its endemic in Britain (where it is thinly disguised anti-White racism) and Stone/Parker just ran with the stuff. If you don't want people calling say, Blacks names, or saying they have no souls, don't direct it at White people. Game theory implies sooner or later that stuff will get thrown back in a punch. Twice as hard, to quote the President.

Re:Today's dose of fearmongering...
It has to be said, assistance that we actually only stopped repaying the US for a couple of years ago - that assistance was most certainly not free, it was infact very costly.
Sorry, but no. The fact is that the terms were quite generous.
What's a little debt between friends?
On 31 December, the UK will make a payment of about $83m (£45.5m) to the US and so discharge the last of its loans from World War II from its transatlantic ally.
It is hard from a modern viewpoint to appreciate the astronomical costs and economic damage caused by this conflict. In 1945, Britain badly needed money to pay for reconstruction and also to import food for a nation worn down after years of rationing.
"In a nutshell, everything we got from America in World War II was free," says economic historian Professor Mark Harrison, of Warwick University.
"The loan was really to help Britain through the consequences of post-war adjustment, rather than the war itself. This position was different from World War I, where money was lent for the war effort itself." . . .
Britain had spent a great deal of money at the beginning of the war, under the US cash-and-carry scheme, which saw straight payments for materiel. There was also trading of territory for equipment on terms that have attracted much criticism in the years since. By 1941, Britain was in a parlous financial state and Lend-Lease was eventually introduced.
The post-war loan was part-driven by the Americans' termination of the scheme. Under the programme, the US had effectively donated equipment for the war effort, but anything left over in Britain at the end of hostilities and still needed would have to be paid for.
But the price would please a bargain hunter - the US only wanted one-tenth of the production cost of the equipment and would lend the money to pay for it. . . . .
But the terms of the loan were extremely generous, with a fixed interest rate of 2% making it considerably less terrifying than a typical mortgage. . . .
.Yet for Dr Tim Leunig, lecturer in economic history at the LSE, it's no surprise that the UK chose to keep this low-interest loan going rather than pay it off early.
"Nobody pays off their student loan early, unless they are a nutter. Even if you've got the money to pay it off early, you should just put it in a bank and pocket the interest."
And if it seems strange to the non-economist that WWII debts are still knocking around after 60 years, there are debts that predate the Napoleonic wars. Dr Leunig says the government is still paying out on these "consol" bonds, because it is better value for taxpayers to keep paying the 2.5% interest than to buy back the bonds.
Germany ends World War One reparations after 92 years with £59m final payment

Science hasn't proven that unicorns don't exist. But that doesn't offer ANY evidence that they DO.

Re:Actuarially, no.
As a guy I don't find those models attractive - they're too skinny. Pencil thin doesn't do it for me. They have to have that moderate hour-glass figure (skinnier at the waist but not too skinny[1]). Plump but with a skinnier waist looks better than "wasting away".
Might be my genes telling me that from a "evolutionary" perspective they are too skinny and so they won't be as fertile and able to carry, nurse and take care of a child.
Just seems like in the fashion world (the "western" one at least) the designers just want "racks" to hang their clothes off. We guys may be sexist but anorexic women ain't our doing. Blame it on the fashion designers. They like the drug addict or "dying from AIDS/cancer" look for some strange stupid reason.
