Re:Is it just me?Just so you know, I've been educated by experienced psychologists. If what I say is wrong, then to hell with all of their reputations and experience.
It is true that in cultures where this behavior is considered normal that victims suffer a less. It's also true that in other cultures they mutilate genitals. There is no ignoring the fact that the child was taken advantaged of because the adult was superior in reasoning. There's also the simple nervous system responses. The child doesn't know about what sex is and about sexual desire. Sexual behavior with a child violates the child.
Anyways, a class in "parapsychology" isn't definitive either. Just because you've seen a counter argument doesn't mean that children aren't actually hurt. Other counter arguments: "We are sexually liberating the children." and "I just couldn't help myself."
There's also the evolutionist perspective. Which you'd be familiar knowing so much about psychology. There is no advantage to having any kind of sex with children. They cannot reproduce. If a girl manages to get pregnant, she will have sever problems.
Further, the vagina of a young girl is very delicate. Sex with a young girl damages her vagina very easily. This is clear evidence that sex with children is wrong and damaging. If it was ment to be, then it wouldn't hurt. It is not a cultural phenomenom.

Isn't Bronfman descended from Bootleggers
If I recall correctly, Bronfman (the name refers to making brandy, in German -- but Bronfman is as kosher as gefilte fish), is from a long line of alcohol makers. They supposedly made their fortune dealing in liquor illegally during Prohibition by making a huge fraction of the illegal alcohol sold in the US.
His daddy was in essence a kosher Pablo Escobar.
Little Bronfy himself presided over the shameful shakedown of Swiss banks in the 90s.
It doesn't surprise me at all that Little Bronfy vants his money.

Re:Say it with me now...Because there's still many questions left to answer, and apparently, there seems to be some pretty interesting stuff up there.
Remember, oil isn't everything. Neither is science, but it's still important enough to spend money on.

Re:Superstitious Crackery
These people have set up the experiments so that their claims will either be supported by facts or not.
A quick search on the Net shows that the experiments themselves may not have been set up correctly, that the experimenters choose their data to fit the facts, seem to skew results, have a patent that presupposes their results and that plenty of bona fide quacks treat this as "truth" which always gets skeptics (like me, who do not take such publicity at face value) jumping all over gullible posters. -
Interesting article......though it would be interesting to know the volume that comes out of willful spammers (as opposed to zombie pcs) operating from throwaway ISP accounts, as opposed to people with pink contracts and truckloads of bandwidth.
Incidentally, this bit:
...a judge...complained that a man with a criminal record who landed in his courtroom was sending malicious e-mail. The harasser was complaining to the judge about such minutia as the fringe on the American flag hanging in his courtroom.was interesting to me. This sounds like the oft-repeated assertion that a US flag with a fringe in a courtroom means that you're under Admiralty law, not the law of the United States, and that anyone who appears before that court has lost most of their rights. Of course, They don't want you to know this...or that England still owns the US, or that there is a subtle yet vitally important difference between the United States and the United States of America that means you are 0wn3d by the government...
I tell you, there are worlds upon worlds of free entertainment out there on the Internet.

the only truly geeky answer
Why don't you build yourself a vomit-inducing microwave gun? Or play a diarrhea-inducing infrasound mp3 using a motion-controlled mp3 server? There are loads of useful non-lethal options to explore, some of them may be illegal though.

Re:First Glance - additional references
Okay, I made the call and did the search. Here is what I found:
From a Google search using the terms "balkan oil pipeline cheney"
....- The following quote, verbatim, from a story at The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) site:
Despite President George W. Bush's rhetoric about withdrawing our forces from the Balkans, we can expect a strong continuing U.S. presence there.
Why? It's all about the transportation of massive oil resources from the Caspian Sea through the Balkans, and maintaining U.S. hegemony in the region.
Although NATO ostensibly bombed Yugoslavia to stop ethnic cleansing, the bombing was actually part of a strategy of containment, to keep the region safe for the Trans-Balkan oil pipeline that will transport Caspian Sea oil through Macedonia and Albania. The pipeline is slated to carry 750,000 barrels a day, worth about $600 million a month at current prices.
- An article entitled CHENEY AND BUSH WHEREVER YOU LOOK: THE OIL WARS IN THE BALKANS [caps not mine -0x0000] from David Icke's site [this was the first hit in the list, justifying, I think, my use of the word "trivial" to describe the relative difficulty of finding this information -0x0000].
- The following quote concerning the potential existence of said pipeline:
"... a Corridor 8 pipeline project through the Balkans. I have been intimately involved with this project since its inception. Let me state that contrary to the article, it is a crude oil pipeline."
... This from someone identifying themselves as "Gligor Tashkovich, Executive Vice President, AMBO Trans-Balkan Oil Pipeline Project". I leave it to the reader to call this guy and get him to confirm or deny. That's beyond my scope.
The URL for the posting is http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interes ting-people/200110/msg00390.html (this one was #5 on the first page of google hits).
And with those tidbits I think I will rest my case to the effect that
- The idea of a Bosnia/Oil connection is not an idea that I personally came up with
- The idea is not totally new or unknown to persons who look beyond the CNN/FoxNews one-liners.
- A fairly trivial google search on the topic will turn up quite a bit more information than I could possibly supply myself.
I encourage you to form an opinion based on the articles and to argue your position with the authors of those articles; they are certainly better equipped to defend or "prove" their various stances than I.
I personally feel that the more I look into this, the more compelling the evidence becomes, however, I again encourage you to do your own research and make up your own mind.
Lastly, I commend to you the following sources...
- The book written by Zbigniew Brzezinski circa 1997, which book I can't remember the title of
- The Google search " trilateral commission "
- The Google search " Zbigniew Brzezinski "
... and leave you with a quote from my source concerning this whole matter:
"that's kid stuff"
- The following quote, verbatim, from a story at The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) site:

Re:Fluoride...
A "medical" site that advertises "Alien Identities" and "The plot against civilisation / World Revolution" does NOT inspire confidence in the information presented.
Look, Jehovah's Witnesses bug me because they waste my time, but this is a wee bit over the top:
"Subliminal Mind Control & Manipulation Archive Features -- Jehovah Witnesses' Subliminal Covert Mind Control
And, just do let David Icke know, for future bullshit sessions, there is no CIA in Canada. We have CSIS instead. Therefore this little rant is a little pointless (and funny!) to us in Canada.
I do have to read more there, I haven't seen such a good wacko site in a LONG time. -

Fluoride up yours, not in my water...If Lindows is like fluoride in the water, then Lindows makes you stupid.
Sources at:
Indymedia: Rather sarcastic and somehow a flamebait, but still worth a read.
David Ickle's website: Independent scientific evidence repeatedly showing up over the past 50 years reveals that fluoride allegedly shortens our life span, promotes cancer and various mental disturbances, accelerates osteoporosis and broken hips in old folks, and makes us stupid, docile, and subservient, all in one package.
Another piece: Fluoride is intoxicating. Another here: Do I need to quote some more stuff? -
Re:Fluoride...
I don't think parent is trying to be funny, look.

Microsoft and the IlluminatiAfter seeing this story, I spent some time looking at conspiracy theory sites, because they are always fun to read. I came across this great story about Microsoft. From the first paragraph:
These days most people have heard of Microsoft Corporation, and its founder Bill Gates. The majority of computers in use today use Microsoft system software, and those that do not often run applications from Microsoft. However, few people know the true story behind the rise of Microsoft and even fewer suspect the terrible cosmic secrets that are concealed beneath the facade of a successful software company.
Obviously this seems very well suited for Slashdot... -
I'm a lone nut, just like everyone else!If you're reading "A Catcher in the Rye", you're probably not borrowing it from the library. You probably have several copies issued by the CIA themselves.
JD Salinger was a well known member in intellignce circles in his day. Like the Scientologists, the spooks like to bolster their own, so all their brainwashed MKULTRA manchurian candidates are given a compulsion to buy the book, hence inflating the sales.
I should know, since I just made this shit up!
