The UFO aliens like 42 too
http://www.earthfiles.com/news.php?ID=1389&category=Environment
(The section about halfway down, the .JPG of 'alien' symbols for Ludovico Granchi in Rio, 1988: http://www.earthfiles.com/Images/news/T/TexasSymbols1988GranchiLo.jpg )
This is the smoking gun. It's only a matter of time, folks, before the hyper-dimensional mice are dissecting our brains.
Watch the skies! And the cheese. -

Red Rain of Kerala, India
It's a rain of red cells that multiply like yeast yet have no detectable DNA. All earth based-life contains DNA, these cells do not appear. And this is just the tip of their unusual properties:

Alien life, in some sense, has likely already found us.
And on a side note, I would encourage everyone to take a look at Linda Moulton Howe's work at Earthfiles.com. As is always the case, if there is an interesting phenomena on the planet, she does a more in-depth, facsinating job reporting on it than anyone else dare. -
It could Be Wifi Signals
On coast to coast am
where the story originaly broke (largest radio show in the world a late nite 4hour show)
coasttocoastam.com
http://www.earthfiles.com/ www.earthfiles.com
yesterdays show and the day before they mentioned it could possibly be the nicotean (spelling not sure) new pesticide use or possibly the increase of wifi signals
No one really knows at this point (earthfiles.com are sure to have the more current updates!)
I think italy reported that nothing looks unusual and they banned pesdicied use and some othere place I can not think of so it looks interesting.. not to mention I live in Canada Ontario and have a huge wild natural garden and rember a huge amount of bees last year in it .. it was super weird
If the bees go so does our food supply
they been having difficulty finding dead bees and the honey normally eaten up by other insects is untouched .. suggesting that the honey is probably toxic.. who knows .. I sure hope someone figures this out!
If you know something or have a theory frig email earthfiles@earthfiles.com the biggest place around on top of this story! -
Better Reasons Exist than Mobile 'Phones
I for one am extremely suspicious about claims that bees are being wiped out by mobile 'phones. Here's an example of why:
US = 301,505,000 people in 2,718,695 sq miles = 111 people per sq mile
UK = 60,609,153 people in 94,526 sq miles = 641 people per sq mileSo, why is it that the US is suffering this major disappearance of bees when the UK isn't? Seeing as the density of mobile phone signals is going to be FAR higher in the UK? Ok, i accept that mobile phones in the UK work on different frequencies, but from what I've heard, the same thing is happening in Poland and Spain , which both have far lower population densities than the UK, and the same mobile phone frequencies. Of course, Poland and Spain import far more US Genetically Modified crops than the UK does.

Stuff we don't know.
I'm inclined to believe there is a miriad of stuff we don't know about but is *very* important to our future. There may be good reasons the general populous isn't briefed... but we can only guess really. Check out this link here that goes through reponses that Military Generals and Presidents have given in response to questions asking them about being briefed on UFO's. http://www.earthfiles.com/news/news.cfm?ID=819&ca

Re:Decoded?Oh goodie, I get to answer myself.
:)
I would have been more entertained to read that it had (c) 2002, Sony Music Corporation.. Then they'd have the RIAA trying to shut down the site. :)

Most of these sites scream hoax or conspiracy. One message said straight-up that there's no way anyone could decode it (yada, yada. They just didn't try hard enough. I do the impossible twice before lunch daily.{grin})

Nearly Perfect Geometrical ShapesNo. All the mistakes you'd expect from human beings cavorting in the dead of night. Take a look at these, presented as evidence of the precise geometry:
Milk Hill 2001 (scroll down, it's the 3rd one)
Possibly made by the same people but with only 3 arms in the spiral
Perfect geometry? The spiral arms don't even have the same number of circles in each arm. The Milk Hill formation has 13 circles on five of six arms of the spiral; the other arm has only 12. The 3-arm spiral has two arms with 11 circles and one with 12.
Stand in awe if you like, but jeez, this is obvious BS that these things are anything like 'perfect'.

Why not use a UFO as defense
There seems to be a bit of confusion over what broke apart a asteroid/commet heading for Turkey.

Re:It's a ufo
Hmm, very good one I'd say, take a look at it!
Even if it's man-made, it's still one heck of a job. -
It's a ufo
It's a ufo, and they have just made this cropcircle with a binary message in it.
hmm,,, naaah, me thinks it's just a rock :)
And what classifies an object as a planet, shouldn't have a certain size or something? I remember something about a planet being "downgraded". -

Linda Moulton Howe:
"AND WHAT WAS IT THAT AS YOU LOOKED AT THIS SONAR IMAGE, WHAT WAS IT THAT EXCITED YOU?
Frank Muller-Karger, Ph.D., Caribbean expert and Professor of Oceanography, College of Marine Science, University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Florida:
"When you look at sonar images, it looks sort of smooth, curved and shades - everything is sort of curvy and shades of curves. It looks smooth. So, when you look at these, you do see things that have very strong reflections along straight edges. There are a lot of those things, like you said, over a field of several kilometers, tens of square kilometers.
AND THAT THESE STRAIGHT EDGES THAT ARE BOTH RECTANGULAR AND SOMEWHAT PYRAMIDAL WITH STRAIGHT EDGES ARE ALL OVER THAT SEVERAL KILOMETERS AREA?
Yes, but again, it could be a very unique geological formation. We just don't know. Until we go there and take a very close look, all it will be is speculation and I would hope that nobody - it's very romantic to think, 'Oh, a lost civilization and ruins and all.' And we all would like to see something like that. But I don't think that it's the right thing to do without actually going there. I think it's great they are actually going to go there and take a closer look. Because just from a geological point of view, it would be very interesting also."

Lost city found off Cuba coast

Update on Mysterious Deep Water Sonar Images Off Western Cuba
I could go on, but I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader.
Hint: try a google search for "cuba" and "underwater" and "city"
Ya'd think
/. would have picked up on this a while ago, but then, maybe not...I guess "news" doesn't necessarily mean "new".

Interview with ADC
You can find an interview with Paul Weinzweig from ADC at http://www.earthfiles.com/earth249.htm.

Some FAR more interesting underwater structures......have been discovered near Cuba. Far more interesting, because the principle investigators believe they're man made.
And they're not merely a 2200-year-old city in shallow water like the one recently-discovered off the coast of Egypt -- these structures are 800 meters deep, and must be far older.
If this discovery is verified, it'll be huge.
Read about it on a mainstream site (MSNBC -- quick, grab it before it disappears from Google's cache!)
or get more detail from this fringe site. -
Molecular computers in UFOs -- Fact or fiction?
Take a step back and look at the parent site, Earthfiles. Take a look at the "Headline News" section. Over half of it seems to be on UFOs and crop circles.
Just think, twenty years from now, we could have geometric patterns of these things laid out in the middle of cornfields!
