With these and that old google++ rant about Amazon/Bezos by Steve Yegge, it is hard to not to draw generalizations about Amazon's work culture. I know people that work there (just acquaintances), and they seem to like it. But shit, all of these combined do not paint a nice picture.

They actually do have sane free limits. However, they seem to "match" to deduplicate and use their own copy unless you manually make exceptions for each song...individually. And that's no good if you meticulously correct your metadata and add high-quality album art (or your preferred cover for an album with multiple releases).

This problem also exists with Amazon and Apple, but at least with Google it's free.

A knockoff purse might break a strap or a knockoff watch might make you late for a meeting but fake individual pieces of a system like automotive fuel pumps, ABS modules, and other electronic components can cause REAL problems. These are usually sold at a higher level direct to wholesalers and then passed along to regular everyday retailers and manufacturers. Unfortunately not many people or companies ever notice these are subpar quality and fakes.
