Re:Just another Reality POS program
It is possible to do reality shows amazingly well. The prime example being Penny Arcade's Strip Search (produced by LoadingReadyRun).
Though, I don't know of any other reality show worth watching. So only sample size 1. But still, proves it is possible.

Re:No April FOols?
My Little Pony Now Cool teenage boys squee in delight
Err.. that one is actually true.
Actually it's young men who are My Little Pony fans..
So, you heard about the Bronies too? Yeah.. weirded me out too.. still trying to get my heard around that one..
Personally, I'll go for the Friendship is Mauling version.
(Has thus-far managed to avoid the MLP plague, but having a five-year-old daughter it's only a matter of time...)

Re:They pay the bills, so STFU
the Zero Punctuation videos are hilarious
Love it. I also watch the ones by the Loading Ready Run guys. Rebecca Mayes and Moviebob aren't bad, hit and miss but it's only a few minutes each anyway. The other videos? Not so much. Game Dogs (Non-jokes that run on too long, and then there was the facepalm-worthy reference to "ASC2 art".) and I Hit It with My Axe (Fully-dressed pornstars playing D&D - how is this different from watching fully-dressed ANYONE playing D&D? It's like watching someone do a crossword with more bad acting and dice rolling.) are just... painful.
Articles are similarly hit-and-miss, but there's a few authors there that are consistently good.
Overall there's enough good that I paid 'em ten bucks for the year and now I don't see ads anymore.

Re:"Teenaged whiz-kids"
Welcome back to the mid-90s. Do these teenaged whiz-kids do their personal computer hacking on-line?
No, dude, they use.... TERMINAL ENTRY. Hackers AND terrorists! It's two great tastes that taste like Z-movie together!
(For the truly bored, a semi-dramatic reading of box blurb available here, 4:20ish-5:20ish, after annoying commercial message.)

To make the thing manlier:
Make them largelier!. Ow wait, that might not be the point of a netbook.

Halo. It has been foretold how this story will end
We can easily see how things will progress with the current trend of violent videogames like WoW, Tetris and Halo: http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/view/228/

LoadingReadyRun
I've been watching them weekly since their hilarious "Rejected Wiiplay Games" movie. They're also the Desert Bus For Hope people. Anyway, they're somewhat hit-or-miss, but mostly hit IMO: http://loadingreadyrun.com/

Re:I'm very impressed with Ubuntu
Eight PS3s sold doesn't necessarily mean that eight people bought PS3s. Some might have bought more than one. Some might even have bought three.

As a film festival organiser I can happily state that you are totally wrong.
We have around 60 hours a year of video submitted to us per year (average film length 5mins) for our regional short film section. We also have over 2000 titles in our archive. Almost all have 0 commercial potential, despite their quality, though a few have made it to tv.
People are out there making good free stuff to watch, you just got to know where to find it -
When did Blizzard make something called Steam?
Rejected Mac Ads
This video reminded me of how friendly Blizzard is towards Mac OSX. Why is it so hard to port to Linux? -
movies of old games helps
Having old games made into movies helps.
:)I just saw a machinima short for Pac-Man and Space Invaders from LoadingReadyRun. Go to the page http://www.loadingreadyrun.com/vid.php?cat=MT and look for "Pachinima" to download a humorous 12 MB movie.
(And, to be on topic... yay emulators.)

Re:Fucking Willow?!
Any quick peruse of his IMDB profile will tell you that. However, how are the casual readers supposed to identify him if I refer to the role where he was in a large fuzzy suit and you could neither hear his voice nor see his face. Willow Ufgood is probably his most recognizable role. May a thousand Brownies torment you by lodging in your undergarments until my geek badge is rightfully returned. visit septic Korea!
