Re:USA Number One!
It's good to be number one in something.
It is not just computer science.
America also won the International Math Olympiad, beating out the Chinese.

I wonder if it needs energy to do this
Of course. But that problem has been solved

Perspective seems to color the interpretation of the law.
News Channel on your side Florida Florida man tells cops he didn't drink while driving, only at stop signs.

"Improve Quality of Debate"
Let's face it, Twitter debates look like this, removing a 'like' button will do little to improve the situation.

Re:mean
Communism says that the government owns everything.
No it doesn't. Communism says the government withers away. The people collectively own capital - the means of production. Non-capital goods are individually owned. So your toothbrush is yours, and yours alone.
At least that is the theory. In practice, it works like this.

Yaknow 'Russians pooped in the hallway' = sarcasm?
....yes? Oh, I was late for work the other morning - the Russians must have been involved. Justice League was a shitty movie - must have been the Russian's fault.
Because reasons.
Not that TLJ is an objectively shitty movie. The whole lightspeed ram that wrecks 40 years of continuity. Why build a Death Star when you can get a few junk freighters and use them as mass drivers against a planet? Why did the Alliance bother with those Death Star plans when a half dozen Kamikaze runs in quick succession could have disabled either of them? Why did Luke, who risked everything to save a mass murdering father he barely knew (and succeeded!!!!) decide to cut down his own nephew, who he's known his entire life, because he suspects the kid might be going to the dark side?

Obligatory Nicolas Cage
The process creates a lot of heat, which could risk melting the drone. And lasers come with additional risks.

Re:Not only there
I don't know many people that voted for Hillary and I don't know anyone at all that voted for Donald that regrets it. This narrative that Russia got him elected.. take a look at this map of voting by county in the US for the 2016 election map pic by county.

Re:Okay! Let's stand around wringing hands!
CAN anything REALISTICALLY be done in a time-frame that would help save ANY of the remainder?
There is more at stake than just the coral of the Great Barrier Reef. This is just the foreword of the many extinctions that are to come. There are MANY things we must do to veer off this catastrophic path, the first of which is informing people of what is actually happening. An informed public can elect leaders to change the law so that we actually improve the situation instead of sitting around and claiming everything is fine.

Re:SO... if we're going to pretend
Then, when they are done shrieking, they go back to handing out 'thoughts and prayers' which in their mind is the only real fix for the problem of mass shootings.
What's wrong with that? It's worked so well in the past! Think of all the shootings that didn't happen because of their thoughts and prayers. And here you are, blaming them when they miss one.
Nobody is perfect.

Dogs: we pooped in hallway - Russia did it!
Russiagaters are getting more and more desperately pathetic with each passing day. this pic about sums it up. Anything and everything can be and will be blamed on Russia, because we need a distraction from how horrible Hillary and her party are to lose the most winnable election in history.

Re: If the title is in the form of a question...
It's not Finland's fault that they're successful AND not "black" at the same time. The shitholes Trump talks about are shitholes and yes, they're full of people with dark shades of skin. The skin is irrelevant. Trump doesn't want to deal with the problems that irresponsible leaders in other countries create. The people from the shitholes need to stay and fight the power, not run away to the United States. Fix your damn countries. The Nordic countries don't need fixing. It just happens they're also full of white people.
And here's the rub. At some point it must asked: why are so many "white" countries way better off while so many "black" countries are literal shitholes full of fighting, poverty, and death? Why did African countries colonized by and built up by white people go to shit when the white people left or were forced out? That alone lends credence to the notion that "black people" are lesser than "white people." Whether or not it's uncomfortable to think about, it sure looks like they are. It certainly doesn't help that Neanderthals were actually smarter than humans and most white people of European descent have about 1% Neanderthal DNA. Then there's the IQ gap that greatly offends SJWs and makes me laugh because it doesn't matter how valid it is so much as how butthurt people get when presented with the mere possibility that black people might not be equal to white people in any way. -

Re:Yes for freedom
Would you rather Trump later on passes some kind of regulation that all ISPs must send all customer data to the RNC for targeting voters? I don't see any reason he could not do so, since after all he controls appointments to the FCC.
Oh, so what you're saying is that Trump has power that cannot be questioned, or challenged? Sounds like that to me.
Fortunately, you're wrong, and there are dozens of checks upon the President, including who he can appoint to the FCC, as well as what the FCC can do.
I could see how you might argue that it's not enough, but what are you going to do? Huh?
Act like Felix Frankfurter? Or John M. Harland?
Now he has not done so and probably would not, but you are supporting the kind of system that makes that reality way more possible than I personally am comfortable with.
You're the one that supports it, by virtue of you being the one who says you can't see any reason he could not take an action that you purport is offensive. Me, I suggest you consider what you want to do to prevent Trump from having that kind of unquestioned power, some way to make him answerable to somebody, to put him under the scrutiny of many others.
The rest of us have. It's one of those things, we know he's not a dictator, a tyrant, and is subject to all sorts of measures.
You should never support a system that is so powerful where it actually matters who gets elected to control it.
Then nobody can have any power, because it always matters who has their hand on the trigger. I guess we're going to have to repeal the Second Amendment too. Nobody can be trusted with a gun, let alone telling anybody else with a gun who to shoot.
Oh well. I suppose you should have insisted on a more robust electoral scheme.
Or to reduce the point to something you might be able to comprehend I give you The Link Of Clarity.
Perhaps you need something to comprehend the Trump Presidency.

Republicans are anti progress
Yes dear AC, like WMD in Iraq, no anthropomorphic climate change, voodoo economics, bombing middle eastern countries will make them peaceful, pollution is good for you, nuclear power is clean as hell and produces no waste products, privatization makes things cheaper, guns make everyone safer.... hell, I could go on all day.
Your post is so amusing. No wonder it is anonymous.
