"Numberland"
Anyone else remember this ride ? I am not sure what disney was thinking when they made that one, but it's good to know it's been enshrined for posterity!
:p -
Just for the sake of reference
When you go to build these pups, you may want to have a look here and study those numbers to get the scale right.
-
While that is interesting, it doesn't help.
The domino effect is in place, and now that one backdoor is covered, I just read about a brand new one.
There goes' apples' "advantage" of supposedly being virus free. -
Cavet Emptor!
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but before trying this out, you should read this first.
If you don't, and end up with show-stopping problems, don't blame me! -
Damn this shit's SWEET!!
I tried this out after RTFA and I have to say: SWEET!!

Re:Away from choice?
It isn't entirely "spin". If you read this account about corporate life in bolshevik [sp?] russia, you can see how supposed 'choice' (you can use the states' stores, or the free markets') can change to no choice (you can use the states' stores, or you can get a bullet to the head as an traitor to the state.)

Re:This guy is everywhere!
Bruce Campbell
He's everywhere you want to be
-
But you wouldn't own the copyright
Because of violating the terms-of-use for the camera, you forfiet [sp?] your rights to the pictures. I know it sounds wierd, but it happened to this guy.

Re:RFID and PAL
Actually, according to this page anywhere in the 14.5-14.20 range is acceptable. However, you should examine his numbers yourself and draw your own conclusions.
-
Re:Is it legit?
Just make sure you're calling 7-11 and not some other number [eg:911].

Re:21st Century Business Plan
After reading this and doing a numeric comparision, it turns out that the investment just isn't worth it.
-
Re:I don't think so.
You're assuming that all they would be after is the IP assets, when the truth of the matter is different. As these numbers show there is a signifigant amount of good-will towards SuSE floating around in the air just waiting to be sucked up by any company that aquires them. It could easily be a no-risk way for IBM to step up their allready considerable Linux commitment.
-
As seen previously...
It has already been noted that SuSE is prime for aquisition on that page.

Unquestionably the worst job in science

Re:About. Bloody. Time!
Truth and Justice cannot be forever denied
Heh, if you read any detailed accounts of Tesla's life, you'll come to realise exactly how untrue that statement is.
But it's ok, we knew you were joking. ;) -
Past mistakes regarding VIOP
I have to say that I've read some disturbing things regarding what the major telecos have done to distrupt VIOP in smaller countrys who are unable to defend themselves. I just hope that IBM is willing to shell out the bucks to mount a suitable defense.

Re:Sun is simply adapting to survive
it depends on how you interpret these numbers

Floor shots! by Ne0_ge0 (7316660)
Here's some floor shots that I just uploaded onto my personal web page.

RudeE screenshots posted
I've put some screenshots up on my page. SWEEET!!! Finally, number-crunching hits the desktop!
:-D -
Re:good move
This is the exact reason that I'm glad they did "rebuff" the offer. After looking over the numbers posted on an insider's personal site, I became very concerned for google's future. particularly the future of google groups.
-
Re:Consumer Reports
That is the theory, but the practice is different. On my page I have a list of products I bought because of reviews I read in CR, and if you look at the numbers I got versus the ones listed in CR the result is very telling.

Re:The more things change...
Typ0, sorry. Here is the fixed link.
