Re:Portal`
Now combine portal with half-life 2 = most amazing game ever!!!
Are you referring to this? -
Re:What are you going to do???
Sure thing.
Its down to some people called Primotech, they worked out that if you extract the hl maps from the halflife data file into the portal game folders then lo and behold you can go round half life with a portal gun.
It looks like you think it will look.
It almost acts like it should, but the monsters don't fall through and if you miss a landing from high you die its so frustrating in part, but where it works its amazing. -
Brilliant!
Team Fortress 2 is worth the $50-60 alone! ($45.00 w/ beta for those that purchased it through Steam!)
I figured many of you may be interested in this, if you hadn't found it already: http://www.primotechnology.com/2007/10/17/half-life-2-portal/
In the article posted above, they explain how to import the Portal gun into the Half-Life 2 single-player. It's very awesome, worth trying! -
More pics and prototype
This interview with Artemy Lebedev by Primotech shows some rendered pictures I hadn't seen on other sites as well as a picture of what looks to be a prototype.

Images and Details
I wasn't going to post this, but since their website seems to be under too much of a load... I actually interviewed Artemy and published preview with all the details on the site (and then some) plus plenty of pictures.

Re:Define a good mobile phone
According to this interview, the founder and director of development for the Optimus says he can hardly imagine it to be less than $200 to $300 (USD).

Cool! But I'll go for v2.0
I'm all for this awesome idea. However I probably won't be buying the first model.
There has been an interview with the head of the design frim.
- 1.0 syndrom
- they want to use OLEDs. OLEDs are nice because they're luminous and small. I don't want my keyboard to be a christmas tree! More important, though, is the short life-span of OLEDs. Know what the 'O' means? Organic. And Organic deteriorates. Lifetimes right now is 2 years, IIRC
- They are thinking of USB2 or Firewire but no bluetooth. Plus power cord, potentially. I want less clutter on my desk now, not more.
- The large footprint. See above.
- This is going to be a luxury keyboard, thus focusing on aesthetics. I prefer practical rather than the aesthetical.
I'll meet the offspring of this keyboard in 2-3 years, when they shake the quirks out of it, and focus more on usability :) -
Re:Creator interviewed at this site
It's better when viewed at the actual site.

Re:woowoo...
Somehow I'm a little less than impressed. Not necessarily with the workmanship, mind you, but with the concept design and ultimate implementation.
I would complete agree with your assessment.. Just looking at the "end result" it just makes me think, "Huh?". So they were able to stuff a PC into the case of an old mac. It appears they not only raped an old mac, but they also have wasted several pieces of pizza. They said they used 25 pieces of pizza. Medium pizzas generally have 8 pieces. Larges have 10. Their picture of their pizza looks like it has 6 or 8 pieces. I can't see how you get 25 pieces out of those numbers without having to throw some away.
Don't people know there are STARVING DEVELOPERS in India?
