There was an piece on some kid whose friends turned on him, beat him, cursed and taunted him both on school property and off. They cursed and taunted him even though his parent's were right there. School administrators admitted they couldn't protect the kid. I don't know why they couldn't just expel or suspend those ex-friends. But according to the article, it sounds like the kid's going to transfer to another school... And he wasn't some little poindexter neither. Bullies 1, victims 0, schools 0

The ROCKET technology was to aid in getting US communication satellites into space. I didn't approve of it. But it doesn't affect the security of any nation or the United States. China already has enough nukes to destroy the United States. The thing they need to invade Taiwan is NOT missles, it is a NAVY!!!!

Back to the subject. Bill Clinton was never accused of spying on US citizens without court warrants. That is the issue at hand.

I agree that blaming a past decline on one of these recent actions is not valid. However, there is reason for concern when proposals like the above are being put forward.

Christianity, has in fact, been quite hostile to science when science conflicts with established dogma, Galileo being the prime example, and Darwin the most recent. In fact, as recently as 1968, it was illegal to teach evolution in some states. Those laws were declared unconstituional by the Supreme Court, but the fundamentalist right is attempting to roll back the clock, and have had recent sucess in Kansas.

In a Denver Post article Richter claims to have less than $10 million in assets but more than $50 million in debts including the $49 million that Microsoft is seeking.

And yet, in a Denver Rocky Mountain News article, Steven Richter, Scott Richter's father and the company's attorney, claimed the company has debts of under $250,000 and assets exceeding $1,000,000, saying "The company is extremely viable and healthy.... It's continuing to grow."
