Re:Nothing partisan about the memo
Everything that Muller has that came from these FISA warrants is now "fruit of the forbidden tree".
As noted elsewhere, it's fruit of the poisonous tree, and you might want to re-consider that argument, as even some Conservatives are abandoning it. From The Nunes memo is out. It’s a joke and a sham.:
There is also this remarkable passage from the Nunes memo, concerning former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, who is cooperating with Mueller as part of a plea deal:
The Papadopoulos information triggered the opening of an FBI counterintelligence investigation in late July 2016 by FBI agent Pete Strzok. Strzok was reassigned by the Special Counsel’s office for improper text messages with his mistress, FBI Attorney Lisa Page where they both demonstrated a clear bias against Trump.
This is apparently supposed to show that the investigation was opened by a biased FBI agent. But it actually shows that the FBI investigation predated the supposed misuse of the Steele dossier, and it shows that the cause of the investigation was information provided by Papadopoulos, which is what the New York Times reported. Remember, this Times report was widely mocked by Trump allies. Yet the memo actually lends that story more credence and, in the process, undercuts the whole alt-narrative that the genesis of the probe was illegitimate.
Some conservatives reached the same conclusion:
In reflecting more on this, I think Nunes may have just blown up the core Trump defense to the “Russia investigation” — that it was all fruit of the poisonous Steel tree. Not true. It was already underway. https://t.co/gUvGgSUyY1

Not Pardon, "Clemency"
Assange never demanded a pardon for Manning. This is exactly what he said:
"If Obama grants Manning clemency, Assange will agree to US prison in exchange -- despite its clear unlawfulness https://t.co/MZU30S3Eia"
He's breaking the agreement: his statement is a lie.

Re:Wind/solar
Um, no. According to the article the main driver was Natural Gas and Nuclear. Solar/Wind barely budged. Another mdsolar deceptive article.
About 25% of Q3 power was from renewables. From the source document, about 4.5% was solar, 11% wind, 8% Biomass. Q3 is the best quarter for solar annually, it drops off significantly in the winter, so that annual averages are less than Q3. Wind production tends to be lower than average during Q3.
What is most interesting is that although the percentage increased, total consumption decreases significantly, allowing them to reduce coal burning. Natural Gas increased the most and Renewable's and Nuclear's percentages of the total increased more than their actual production percentages did.

Re:They really should approve though
Sorry, it's too late to mention pro-remain campaigners about the article 50 issue. And the second one did not "write Article 50" despite whatever he claims. There are no "authors" of the single articles, he was only one among the dozens of legal advisors who helped drafting the treaty.
The issue was settled today by the High Court itself, who released the verdict assuming that the article 50 procedure is irreversible, something that both the government and the claimants agreed upon. Read the ruling text instead of the BBC:
https://t.co/reFdzy11KlAnd that basically deprives the parliament of any power to put any conditions on the exit process or on the (not necessary) deal.

Re:It was done in WW2
Except that they don't have drone "swarms", they have isolated drones with very limited payload capacity. Daesh opens up battles with VBIEDs, where they can deliver tonnes of explosives into enemy troop formations, not a kilogram or two. Trucks are a lot more abundant in Syria than drones as well.
That said, I think it's easy to underestimate people because they're "jihadis". On the western side, JaF (islamist coalition, both anti-Assad and anti-Daesh) members not only use drones but have also been experimenting with remote controlled robotic gun platforms. For example, here's the Sham R3. Despite the consumer-hardware aspects (note the playstation controller to operate it), it seems surprisingly well made - multiaxis, very smooth action, good rotation rate but still accurate positioning, able to popup and retract for cover, etc. It's unlikely that things like that will somehow turn the war for them, but they are legitimate weapons development programs.

It is very hard to implement a system that solves all problems at once, all done open source, without any involvement of any of the known software and semiconductor players. Re:What's good for the goose
Trump has benefited enormously from the media. He wouldn't likely be where he was if CNN hadn't been following him around for the last fifteen months. If anything, the media is guilty of giving the impression that he had a chance, because drama sells copy.
Or it could just be that having the media treat Trump as a serious candidate was part of the plan all along: https://t.co/OaUjtFkKWg (warning: PDF file)

Not sure about suicide
5:13pm: i'm committing suicide tonight.. do not intervene as i have many stories to tell and do not want them to die with me #debian #runnerkristy67
5:14pm: watch my blog later http://ianmurdock.com/
5:17pm: https://t.co/I1CSCJErWf
5:20pm: I'll write more on my blog later. But the police here beat me up for knowing on my neighbor's door.. they sent me to the hospital.
5:20pm: Then beat me up some more.
5:21pm: My bail for "assault against a police officer" are all that: $25,000.
5:22pm: I'll write more much later. They still don't have cameras on all police so I'm going to use my somewhat celebrity to hopefully stop this.
5:23pm: Quote: "We're the police, we always win."
5:25pm: My career is over now, so I'll be gone soon.
5:27pm: Maybe my suicide at this, you now, a successful business man, not a NIGGER, will finally bring some attention to this very serious issue.
5:30pm: I'm not committing suicide today. I'll write this all up first, so the police brutality ENDEMIC in this so call free country will be known.
5:34pm: if anyone wants to come over and see what the police did to me i would be more than happy for that
5:35pm: they beat the shit out of me twice, then charged me $25,000 to get out of jail for battery against THEM
5:36pm: i had to go to the hospital
5:36pm: they followed me home
5:36pm: then they pulled me out of my house and did it again
5:37pm: i had to have swtitches
5:37pm: then followed my home from there
5:38pm: i asked if they had cameras
5:38pm: they said no
5:45pm: shall i post pictures for all my bruises from my against the police officers?
5:45pm: where they put you in a cell with absolutely no instructions whatever aside from the spell on the floor in piss?
5:48pm: Writing up my experience for others to hopefully prevent others from police abuse then you won't hear from me again
6:00pm: @jacksormwriter wants me dead
6:06pm: i'm going to post my case on my blog.. if anyone can post it on hacker news or wherever i would apprieciate it
6:07pm: i'm hoping coming from a successful white guy it will help everyone
6:31pm: (1/2) The rest of my life will be devoted to fighting against police abuse.. I'm white, I made $1.4 million last year,
6:33pm: (2/2) They are uneducated, bitter, and and only interested in power for its own sake. Contact me imurdock@imurdock.com if you can help. -ian
6:41pm: The police are uneducated, evil, and sadistic. Do not trust them.
6:42pm: The rest of my life is to fight against the police.. they are NOT friends, so don't ever ever believe otherwise.
6:49pm: What does one have to get education wise to become a police officer.. asking for a friend.
7:03pm: "We're the police, we can do whatever the fuck we want.."
7:08pm: This was right after the female officer ripped off my underwear.. I guess that's not considered rape if you're not a woman being raped.
7:12pm: I am a white male, make a lot money, pay a lot of money in taxes, and yet their abuse is equally doned out. DO NOT CROSS THEM!People deciding on suicide for real rarely make future plans, but his last tweets were full of them. I wonder about head trauma, mostly because of the extreme confusion here. Note his first line. He didn't want anyone to stop him from killing himself, because he had stories that he wanted to tell.

Twitter download private links?
If Twitter's behaviour for elongating the URLs in the public Tweets is any indication, their own bots actually download the contents of the links, allegedly trying to scan it for malware or whatnot.
I, personally, suffer because I never experience any URLs being shortened, they instead only get elongated by the service, reducing already constrained character space.
I mean, you don't have to go far to find a URL shorter than http://t.co/qLxImbQYvn. Even if you have a newly registered
.com, it's still likely they'll only elongate it if you ever post a link to it.And Twitter should really change the name of their subservice disservice to be more technically accurate.
The CEO of Sonic.net is especially annoyed (and rightly so) -- he can't even refer to his company without getting an elongation!

Nothing to see here, unless you wrote the paper or are the person referenced.. The post and the linked TFA are a waste of time.

Re:Heck, we probably already fund them
"Standing with Israel" will soon be understood to be no different than "riding with the KKK"
Can you explain why an Arab boy will get murdered if he walks down the street, holding hands with a Jewish girl?
Can you explain why dissident/tolerant Israelis are afraid to post facebook profiles, because black-shirted gangs will hunt down their street address and beat them into a pulp?
Can you explain why African refugees live in fear for their lives?
Why do Israeli snipers kill already wounded civilians and the RESCUE FIRST RESPONDERS?
Tweet (JLLLOW):
"The #IDF deploys snipers against first responders in Gaza: http://palsolidarity.org/2014/07/human-rights-defenders-under-live-fire-one-dead/ | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBakqLUBWP0 This is a war crime."
Equal civil rights? Israel has NO WRITTEN CONSTITUTION.
Your "democracy" claim is Israeli whitewashing, a baldfaced lie that embraces rhetoric of inclusion, to mask discrimination, prejudice and exploitation. Palestinians make up about 20 percent of Israel's population, while less than 7 percent of the budget is allocated to Palestinian citizens. The 1.5 million Arab citizens of Israel are de facto second-class citizens while four million more are not citizens at all. A Jew from any country can move to Israel - and is granted near immediate citizenship upon entry - but a Palestinian refugee, with a valid claim to property in Israel, cannot even visit. The laws for "right of return" and the "Jewish National Fund", which enshrines formal policy and subsidy for land ownership, are inherently anti-democratic.
In fact, there was another government and nation that behaved this way, socially, politically and militarily - but the world put a stop to that in 1945.

Re:Yet another NSA shill pointing fingers at someo
God forbid somebody who happens to work for or be a Congressperson spread disinfomation by alphabetizing categories...
So, judging by the reaction to the article (the whole thread from this submission),
No, not the whole thread. See below.
each and every single employee of Russian state media responds directly to Putin (even those who, say, use their wifi networks),
In the posting to which you responded, I said "just as somebody working at or for the VGTRK isn't necessarily acting on behalf of the Russian government.", which says that employees of Russian state media are not necessarily acting on behalf of the Russian government". The person who made the edit in question might well have been acting on his or her own; I'm not going to assume that they were acting part of an officially-organized propaganda campaign, or even a propaganda campaign at all, any more than I'm going to assume, at this point, that the Russians had anything to do with the decision to shoot down the plane.
but some edit directly from a political/administrative institution only "alphabetizes categories".
In the posting to which you responded, I said that one particular edit, namely the one referred to here was only "alphabetizing categories", and that one other edit, namely the one referred to here, merely added a serial comma.
If your goal was to demonstrate that people from IP addresses assigned to the US congress edit Wikipedia pages, those edits might be relevant; if your goal was to show edits, from IP addresses assigned to the US congress, that show a pro-US bias, those edits are completely irrelevant - this one might be more relevant.

...or adding serial commas!
You might want to limit yourself to examples where somebody's changing the tone of an article to favor (or mock) some particular view, like the rest of the links.
And, of course, a particular Congressperson or staffer for that Congressperson isn't necessarily acting on behalf of the US Government, just as somebody working at or for the VGTRK isn't necessarily acting on behalf of the Russian government. (Perhaps it'd be more likely in the latter case, but if it were somebody posting from the Duma in that case, or somebody from the Voice of America in the former case, it'd be a closer match.)

Clearly the NSA wants us to know that Rumsfeld is an alien reptile. Maybe the NSA listens to us is because they are out of gum?
