Re:narcissistic personality disorder
You answered your own question there. She didn't murder anyone, she injured a few and then killed herself. It seems likely that only having a handgun limited her ability to murder people, which is what many calling for tighter gun control want.
As for her gender, only a few people seem to care.

Re:They'll implicitly target Muslims
Lots of links here: http://www.wehuntedthemammoth....
They have regular coverage of Reddit, with screenshots.
You are right, some MGTOW do just want to live without women in their lives for whatever reason. It's a bell curve, but if you look at post histories on Reddit you can see people getting radicalized as post after post about how awful women are slowly changes them from "I had a bad experience" to "bitches are crazy".

Re: eeeeeee
It is neither bad,
sure it is.
nor illegal.
Remains to be seen. Judges have moved to block it pending an actual court case.
I have no problem saying this directly: I voted for him because I wanted him to do the things he is doing.
Wait you *wanted* to get fuck Have you never played chess? There is no deception in chess, but there are lots and lots of traps.ed over while he enriches his billionaire friends? Well, OK, I guess there's a fetish for everything!
I'm not blaming you for what he is doing,
So your call "Obama did it! Obama did it!" was just for giggles then?
scramble to keep up
This is a pretty predictable playlist, it's hard to "keep up" when I'm already ahead.
And no, a trap does not imply deception.
Yes it does, otherwise, people wouldn't enter a trap.
Have you never played chess? There is no deception in chess, but there are lots and lots of traps.
... so you willingly fell into the traps? Or you didn't notice them because they were well hidden. In other words, you were deceived. So, what is your proof that Trump is fascist?
Start here:
http://www.wehuntedthemammoth....
Then there's this straight out of literally Hitler's playbook ("The Criminal Jew"):
http://thehill.com/homenews/ad...
I've given you examples of actual, real fascism
No, you've brought up other things that other people did. The reason for that is you know deep down that Trump is indefensible and so your only way to excuse his behaviour is to try to divert attention to other people. It's perhaps a good way of deceiving yourself but it won't work on me.
Anyway now we both know what Trump is really like, and it's clear to me that if you examine your thoughts deeply you will reach the same conclusion, because otherwise there is no rational reason for you to make the arguments you are making. You don't have to worry about losing face on the internet so there's no need to admit it here. Just do the sensible thing next time you're in the polling booth, eh? That's the great thing about anonymous elections, you can save face in public but do the right thing where it counts.

I can make it fit the left - even better.
WTF is wrong with him?
Do you want a list?
This one at least gets started on a few important bits:
http://www.wehuntedthemammoth....He doesn't fit, but Trump's enemies sure do.
Disagreement is treason:
From silencing conservative opinions on Twitter and Reddit to assaults and threats against Trump supporters, this one fits the left like a glove.Fear of difference:
If you're not expressing the correct virtue signals, you're targeted and destroyed. The cult of tradition:
The left achieves this by replacing old traditions with their own.The cult of action for action’s sake:
Virtue signalling fits here.Life is permanent warfare:
This sounds like the continuous revolution of the left. The obsession with a plot, possibly an international one:
Claims of patriarchy & "good old boys club" fit.Machismo:
Third wave feminism/alphabet soup virtue signalling fits. The rejection of modernism:
This is where the left fits the opposite - where they reject traditions, values, absolute morals, and Natural Law.Popular elitism:
Easily explained by group dynamics - especially In-group/Out-group. The left thinks that it's more "civilized" for silencing dissent. The appeal to a frustrated middle class:
Given that many revolutionaries of the left come from the middle, they definitely fit. -
3AM Tweets and PERMANENT WARFARE
You don't understand! 3AM tweets are a sign of fascism. It's all spelled out right here under the "permanent warfare" section!
One day you're Tweeting at 3AM, and BAM! The next thing you know, you're ignoring the Treaty of Versailles, then invading Poland.
Don't say that nobody warned you!

Re: Change the law
Trump doesn't even begin to fit that description,
Yes he does. Here's what fascism looks like:
http://www.nybooks.com/article...
And here's how Trump fits:
http://www.wehuntedthemammoth....
I think a couple of those are a bit of a stretch, but 12 out of 14 is pretty close.

Re:And what else?
The proof of harassment has been posted multiple times, and confirmed by GamerGate's own IRC chat logs. You just choose to ignore this evidence that has been posted multiple times.

Re:Marrakech, Morocco
I'm genuinely curious as to the origins of this with regards to the Trump fanboys. Who sat down and flipped through the dictionary to settle on 'cuck'? Is that the most insulting thing you could come up with to get under the skin of people you disagreed with?
It's a mixture of things. Much of it centres on rather broken ideas of how things should be and cuck (cuckold) is about the most devastating insult they can think of to themselves, so they try and use it on other people.
http://www.wehuntedthemammoth....
The trouble is that no one except them cares, so they just end up sounding like a bunch of chickens
PS sorry about the thing the other day. I was thinking of the OTHER guy with lots of 1's and 0's in his name. I dobule checked, it wasn't you, so please accept my apologies.

Re:Strong enough for a man, made for a woman
You just have to look at the outpouring of rage from whiny-ass MRA manbabies regarding the re-boot of Ghostbusters with an all-female cast to see how this mechanism plays out.
Funny, most of the MRA groups I know of are more concerned with social issues like disparate child custody decisions, prison sentencing and other inequalities in the justice system biased against men. The only group I have heard make statements on the Ghostbusters movie was the Red Pillers at Return of kings. Was that what you were referring to?
Remember the outrage over the latest Star Wars? How the MRAs were going to boycott? They degrade all of masculinity with their incessant whining.
Again not familiar with MRA's weighing in on popular movies, Return of kings did though and you should rightfully ignore them, they embarrass everyone including MRA's so please do not conflate the two.

Re:Alternate Title
I want progress - just not progress in the same specific way you want it.
Yeah sure.
I'm not referring to that though.
I'm specifically referring to regressive as people who eant to regress and go back in time to a place where gender roles were rather more strictly adhered to than they are these days.
Have you read some of the regressive crap that gets posted to message boards, though? I'm not talking about people debating whether affirmative action is a good thing, I'm talking about people pretty much whining that women aren't stuck in the kitchen now. The regressive people want to take things back to the way they were, because they're basically annoyed that women don't de-facto require men. If you want to read more, there's a website called http://wehuntedthemammoth.com/ dedicated to digging up the insane things people say in this kind of regard.
-
Re: Police?
http://wehuntedthemammoth.com/...
There are others, I don't feel like digging them up. Many of the death threats and rape threats are directly on Twitter. -
Re:Everybody List What You Think Went Wrong
As someone who ends up on the side of the pro-GG side of the argument more often than not,
Out of interest, why are you pro these people:
http://wehuntedthemammoth.com/...Or perhaps you'd like to wile away a few minutes watching "the sarkeesian" effect. I do notice that the gaters on Slashdot banging on about fraud have finally given up 12 months after literally no one asked for their money back from Sarkeesian.
much the same way that "MRA" is used and misused
I think you're confusing the men's movement with the men's rights movement. The latter is the one with return of kings, mgtow and so on and who's adherents are known as men's rights activists.

Re:No nuance allowed. You're for us or against us.
And the fact that you seem to buy into what a bunch of foul mouthed tinfoil hatters on the internet says is also precisely why we can't have a grown up conversation.
I'd generally take her word over these guys:
-
Re:Ah yes, let's talk about gender politics some m
Basically, what I'm saying is not that she imagined the threats; in fact I believe that she has received them - part and parcel for being a public figure, you see.I don't even know where to begin to go with that. She wasn't public figure otuside the game-dev community. She only time she's been a fublic figure is when she got in the corsshairs of the internet hate machine.
No, what I am saying is that she used the few threats she got and "inflated" it into what she characterizes as a "terror movement" for which she can call out a snipe hunt. The "few" threats: your choice of words, not mine. On what do you base that claim?
And think what you want of Gamergate*, but I have zero belief that it is an organized threat aimed at hounding women out of videogames.
Say what *you* want about gamergate, but here's how it got started:

Re:redditers will flip out.
The headline is a little clickbait-y, but the article is neutral. how do you associate one headline with the "SJW-side"?
I find your sneer about a "parliament" rather odd. It's not a "bogeyman" to note that people who generally take one side of an ideological issue will... generally take one side of an ideological issue. Yes, there are disagreements within teams, but it's not unfair to make general statements about ideological teams when those teams usually act like teams.
How many do I need to post to prove my point? Here's Arthur Chu, the self-described "social justice stormtrooper," again expressing the "SJW side": Reddit’s Terrorists Have Won: Ellen Pao and the Failure to Rebrand Web 2.0. A big feminist blog: Pao! Right in the Kisser: Reddit assholes celebrate CEO’s resignation after a week of abuse. SJWs Brianna Wu and Randi Harper are lining up just as one would expect. The NY Times puts their editorial view directly into the news. I'm sure there will be more in the coming days.
-
Re:Yeah, disappointing
No what's your point?
My point is that the anecdotal example of a guy who had to fight for custody of his kids is pretty well trumped by the statistical example of 1500 women killed by their husbands/boyfriends each year.
everybody in the MRM is opposed to husbands or boyfriends killing women too.
Do I have to take you by the hand to some of the MRA forums where you will find apologia for violence against women? No friend, not everybody in the MRM is "opposed to husbands or boyfriends killing women".
Here is RooshV, a well-known MRA celebrity (and one of the guys calling for a boycott on Mad Max), on why rape should be legalized:
http://www.rawstory.com/2015/0...
And here's the same guy on why there should not be laws against domestic violence:

Re:It Remains a Journalism Scandal. Deal With It.
No matter how you try to spin it, in the end GamerGate put the last nail in its own coffin with the IRC log dump:
https://storify.com/strictmach...
http://wehuntedthemammoth.com/...Keep in mind GamerGate released this material itself, it doesn't contest it or claim that it was manipulated in any way.
It doesn't matter how much you keep repeating these copy/pasta talking points, because the IRC logs clearly show that it is just a part of the strategy to attack women. The people gathering this material, the ones pushing the ethics angle, openly admit they are just doing it to cover their misogyny.
GameGate has been exposed for what it really is, if there was ever any doubt.
-
Re:Wonderful.
The fact that GamerGate hates Social Justice Warriors so much illustrates what it is really about. It's about being upset when people criticise video games and gamer culture. It's like someone came onto your server and pwned you, and now you are lashing out in retaliation. Problem is they are better than you, they came with detailed arguments presented clearly in accessible video format, without any screaming or ranting or profanity. So now you turn it into a game, because games are what you are good at.
But hay, don't take my word for it. Here are the IRC chat lots from GamerGate's core. They published them themselves in an attempt to docdump, hoping no-one would find all the bad stuff. Unfortunately for them, people can grep:

Re:More feminist bullshit
Except you douchebags have been wrong every fucking time.
Like when you pretended there was no police report for the threats that made Sarkeesian move out of her house, without even a hint of investigating it.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is an obvious manifestation of misogynistic stereotypes of women being manipulative liars, not any sort of rational consideration.
