Re:All I can say to this is...
Dear Team Creimer,
I just noticed that the Humpty-Dumpty video has ~375 millions views, that should make you salivate!
I have plenty of ideas to make the views on your own youtube channel skyrocket but you didn't contact me yet. Is it because I am a lady? Ethell says that you are sexist but I hope it isn't true.
Anyway, I will give you a free hint anyway: Dress-up as Humpty in your videos, you shouldn't need that much makeup making this a money saving situation in your own case.
My YouTube channel has 222K subscribers and many videos with hundreds of thousands of views:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Now, with some slight adjustments, I think that together, we could make the view count skyrocket on your very own Team Creimer youtube channel
:)Please feel confident to contact me if you want me to coach you, we aren't living so far away from each other so we could even easily meet.
Love XX,

Re:Next, banning humans?
It gets better, hereis what the street really looks like at night. About 1 second before the accident there is a yield to bikes sign due to all the bicycle traffic in the area.
Nit: That's not a yield sign, that's a bike lane sign. It doesn't indicate cross traffic, it indicates the shoulder of the road right of the solid white line is for bike traffic.

Much safer to jaywalk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Studies have shown that removing signals, signs, crosswalks, etc. leads to much safer roads.
People are more cautious. Rather than roaring through an intersection, they slow down, make eye contact and negotiate their way through the space.
Also, check out traffic in Hanoi, Viet Nam and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. -
Re:Everything is possible!
David MacKay says it all, quantitatively:

Re:Ditto
No, motorsport was always about the racing. The nonsense about "it's about the spectacle" is bullshit that's been driven by the entertainment media. If you can't enjoy racing because there's less noise, you weren't there to enjoy the motorsport to begin with, you were only there for a circus... And for that, there's the motorized one-ring circuses, I mean, NASCAR and Indy Car. Or they can just watch a Hollywood movie.
"Frankly no one would miss it - racing enthusiasts have moved on."
The RACING enthusiasts still watch F1 and WEC. It's the rednecks/yokels/bogans etc that stopped watching, because they can't get their needless noise, needless crashes and other showbiz "spectacle"
Funny anecdote time: I was at the 6 Hours of Spa in 2016, and it was quite amusing that the loudest car, the Corvette, was dead last in its class, while the fastest cars of the race, the LMP1 hybrids, were also the least noisy(and frankly scary to see them burst out of the corners and accelerate like no sportscar prototypes have ever done before them)
Fun fact: Despite the addition of loads of corners and chicanes, the fastest overall lap time of Le Mans, ever, is by a hybrid. The type of car you claim offers no spectacle.
From Le Mans 2017, onboard a GTE Pro, and you see a LMP2 pulling away, when suddenly a wild LMP1-H zooms past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Re: He's not driving
Here is a real video of the same stretch of road using about a 3 dollar camera sensor found in a smartphone. Yes, pre 2000 a a sugar cube or smaller sized daytime video camera would have a crappy grainy picture when used at night. But in 2018 that dosent fly in a 40 dollar phone anymore, much less the main camera for a self driving car. It's to hide the fact Uber should be facing charges of vehicular homicide for incompetence and negligence.

well, to be fair...
if you are the sort who either had "highschool guidance counselor" as your dream career, or you were so poorly qualified that the only job available to you at the local high school was "guidance counselor" you probably should not be expected to give wise counsel to kids about how much debt they should incur, and what sort of higher education or career training they should pursue.
Dr Jordan Peterson has better advice for highschool/college kids who plan to live in the real world than any highschool counselor is likely to provide.

So first off, the Nvidia/MS thing is crap
The first thing to understand is that the Nvidia and MS press releases are complete crap. Oh it "works". The UE4 Star Wars thing is real enough. It's also running on $12,000 worth of GPUs at 30fps in 1080p, and is only partially raytraced.
Now does this mean realtime raytracing isn't here? Well the answer is no, it is here. The game Claybook is entirely raytraced, unlike the DirectX demos. It's in early access and runs on nothing more than an Xbox One or PS4, and does so at 60 frames per second. Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?... Now THIS is possible because graphics programmers have gotten quite clever over the years. The cleverest bit is called signed distance fields. This can be thought of a volume of points, or boxes, that all store the nearest distance to a solid "surface". Going through this structure allows you to raytrace very very quickly, as you know how much empty space you can skip each time without hitting anything. And since this data is relatively small for each point it doesn't use up a lot of memory either. It's so fast and low memory you can run a demo in your browser here: https://www.shadertoy.com/view...
Obviously there's a bunch of other clever programming going on in Claybook and other titles. But SDF's are the biggest thing to understand. That and that the MS Raytracing API is totally uninteresting from a performance perspective. In fact it's rather awful. -

...and clever Algorithms
According to this video it is not just more powerful hardware but also that they came up with the idea to use only a fraction of the rays normally required and to then used a power denoise algorithm to generate the final image.

but we were actually able to ingest the entire social network, social network of the US that's on Facebook, which is most people. Where this gets complicated is... that freaked Facebook out... right? So they cut off the feature. Well the Republicans never built an app to do that. So the data is out there. You can't take it back... right? The Democrats have this information, so when they look at a voter file ansd someone comes to them, they can immediately be like "Oh, here are all the other people they know. And here are people they can help us persuade, because they're really good friends with this person".The Republicans do not have that information and will not get that information... right? I'm a democrat, so maybe I could argue that's a great thing. But really, it's not, in the overall process...right? Like that wasn't thought all the way through and now there's a disadvantage of information that to me seems unfair. But I'm not Facebook, so this is the reality.

just a paper cut
Yes, it's the stockholders who have lost. From a high near $200 in early Feb to $160 today, they've lost 20%... but only if they bought at the high and sold today. For most people, it's just paper losses (or smaller gains).
The stockholders would include almost all of the management, most of the employees, some of the contractors, many key venture capital relationships, and god-knows how many potential activist shareholders, plus speculative financial shops that might be substantially leveraged; 10% is then easily 100%, and 20% could amount to -100% (subject to a hedge floor) should Facebook's price remain depressed.
Ferengi Rule of Disposition #7: Nothing elicits a bigger yawn that someone else's margin call.
Hmm, much depends on whether the severed arm leaps back up and reunites itself with the brave knight, or remains there decomposing among the dead leaves.

Re:And then a hero comes along
The 61-year-old limo driver converted a mobile home into a ramp and modified it to launch from a vertical angle so he wouldn't fall back to the ground on public land. For months he's been working on overhauling his rocket in his garage.
This dude is a fucking inspiration.
"Mad" Mike Hughes, I salute you.
Why is he a more of a "fucking inspiration" than Eddie Braun who went 2.5 times higher (4,728 feet) just 18 months ago?
People arguing that this guy is just better at milking publicity have it right, from the self-dubbed "Mad Mike" monicker, to the stupid flat Earth angle. People have been doing this kind of stuff much better for nearly half a century, at least.
-
Re:And then a hero comes along
Neither crazy nor awesome. Similar stunts have been done before - including just 18 months ago. That guy (Eddie Braun) reached 4,728 feet, 2.5 times higher.

Psychedelics On Film: An Illustrated Journey
Rich Haridy - Psychedelics On Film: An Illustrated Journey — 9 March 2016
I'm guessing this is the same Haridy.
Who wouldn't want to know about The Tingler with Vincent Price? (3m15) or The Love Statue (5m20).
Then he gets in the first serious contender, Chappaqua.
Chappaqua is a 1967 American drama film, written and directed by Conrad Rooks.
The film is based on Rooks' experiences with drug addiction and includes cameo appearances by William S. Burroughs, Swami Satchidananda, Allen Ginsberg, Moondog, Ornette Coleman, The Fugs, and Ravi Shankar.
But no legitimate critic will touch it. The Tomatometer is mute with indifference.

Cryptofeces Lepidoptera Creimerus infestation is a serious problem. Not only are they capable of reproducing asexually like amoebas, they can also lay eggs hermaphroditically in unexpected places. They can disguise eggs as something useful to fool the unaware, sometimes pretending to be a haiku author, blogger, vlogger, or IT closet cleaner.
Very dangerous. They can seemingly reproduce out of the cosmic background radiation, even if you step on twelve of them, there's always one you miss.
Don't be fooled by the C. Lepidoptera Creimerus's innocuous, rolly-polly [youtube.com], and almost friendly appearance; despite its great size, stupid demeanor, and bedraggled toothless appearance, they have the hardiness of a tardigrade.
Only a concerted, targeted downmodding campaign has been shown effective in controlling this dangerous pest.
Experience shows that stopping such a campaign leads to C. Lepidoptera Creimerus returning within days.
Don't let it happen again!

Your wish is granted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?... Bryan Singer directing.
Oh, noes!
When an entertainment news story about a TV miniseries adaptation of what was arguably Robert A. Heinlein's greatest novel starts off by informing us that the name of the TV version has been changed to "Uprising," (despite the fact that there is already an existing and devoted audience for a reasonably-faithful adaptation of a famous book with an excellent and extremely memorable title), the signs are Not Good.
Why would someone as savvy as Bryan Singer make such a foolish decision - unless the script that's been greenlit throws out everything that made the novel compelling in favor of Hollywood's paint-by-numbers approach to scriptwriting

Re:Let's Give Him a Taste of His Own Medicine
I get the point that you're making, but here's the video. Even if he is a moron about the shape of the earth, he deserves a bit of credit for successfully building a steam powered rocket, launching it and landing it.

Re:84?
Yep, a few thousand bucks paying a few dozen 'vocal shills' to post generic political propaganda in broken english on the biggest SJW haven on the internet swung an election, but billions spent on all manner of actual professional campaigning and marketing and astroturfing was a total waste.
Somebody pointed that out to Podesta on Meet the Press, iirc. Asked him how the Ruskies knew to target swing states, but the Hillary campaign did not. She just took for granted that she would win states like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Iowa and didn't bother to campaign in them - that went to Trump. Hell, she nearly lost Minnesota as well.
Russiagate is nothing more than a sad, sad attempt to excuse Hillary losing the most winnable election in history.
I don't buy that.
Because Obama spent the day before the election in Michigan - so the Democrats did know Hillary was in trouble in those states.
President Obama didn’t set foot in Michigan in the final months of his reelection campaign in 2012. But he started there one day before the 2016 election, telling voters that Hillary Clinton is the candidate best equipped to further the nation’s economic recovery.
...Throwing Obama into Michigan at the last second like that is evidence of "Oh fucking SHIT!!!" at the highest levels of the Democratic Party.
I can't find it now, but I do recall an article published shortly after the election (Politico, maybe?) that stated Hillary didn't go to those Rust Belt states because every time she campaigned there, her numbers actually got worse.
Yes, she was that bad of a candidate.
And the upper levels of the Democratic Party knew it.
That also explains what looked like crazy overconfidence from Trump's campaign...

I've dropped everything Alphabet/YT/FB/Twitter related, deleted my YT channel, and use alternate search engines that respect privacy and aren't Fascist as those companies have come out as being.

Re:How to prove roundness without endangering him
The legendary Carl Sagan brilliantly demonstrates how Eratosthenes proved a spherical Earth. Hard to believe that some people still deny this 2200 years later.

Re:Let's Give Him a Taste of His Own Medicine
At least he actually followed through and did what he promised
Did he? I don't believe it. Where's the proof that he launched? The article contained no pictures or videos. The evidence that he launched is far flimsier than the evidence that the Earth is a sphere so, by his own standards, we should simply refuse to believe that he did this and then, just perhaps, he might actually learn something valuable from this non-event.
FWIW, Matt Hartman (a well known AP news photographer) was apparently the "designated reputable witness" to the actual event. You can google it in a few places...
However, for more entertainment value, the production video is on Noize TV. Of course you might not be predisposed to believe the video, but apparently Matt was there, so there you have it...
Then again, with all the Fake News floating around in the inter-tubes, a healthy dose of skepticism is usually warranted. Of course many align our skepticism to those reflected by our respective echo chambers, but on occasion, we should open the door to our echo chambers to glimpse at the sky to align ourselves... On occasion...

Re:We can't send him to trial...
Dude seriously, do you not understand the law at all. No crime was committed, not until such time as it is proven in a court of law that a crime was committed, innocent until proven guilty, don't you know. I know that the US is extraordinary lax in that regard when it comes to foreigners, summary execution without even the slightest hint of a trial, tortured until you agree to what ever they want you to agree to or you die, this supervised by the most corrupt doctors on the planet. In the most mild perversions of the legal system, prosecution as punishment locking you up for years, in a purposefully extended and abusive trial and custody process. Held until you tell everyone you are guilty and they let you off with time served, decades in prison and in extremely abusive conditions, corrupt as you can get, basically putting Soviet show trials to shame, US definitely number one in this regard.
No public trial, no crime committed, only the accusation of a crime being committed by a claimed individual or individuals. The US system, if you are rich you are not guilty, if you are poor you are always guilty, if you are connected the case wont even get to court, corrupt as corrupt can get, not third world level but at least somewhere between the second world and the third world, shame, shame, we know your name, USA.
Here about the American Sheriff who gets to keep the money he does spend feeding people awaiting the day in court https://www.youtube.com/watch?..., Jesus fucking Christ, you guys are corrupt as fuck, starving people awaiting trial to buy a waterfront property. Your legal system is a corrupt mess and make no mistake.

Naw, it's not colonialism
it's just politics & racism. It started in the 30s when the guy that ran prohibition enforcement didn't want to lose his position when 18th amendment got repealed. He used racism to get folks behind the idea. Then Nixon expanded it so he could crack down on his political enemies.
What's scary is that even with all this history known and available we still can't get drugs legalized. That's not just because of corruption. At best only 65% support legalizing weed (and you can forget about legalizing the hard stuff and treating it as a medical condition). -
Also...
Also, creimer is already busy with too many affiliate link programs.
creimer would accept the mascot position although if pay is more than 5$ an hour, which is much more than creimer does collecting second hand lottery tickets.
creimer would save the puffer con with costume charge and creimer would look more like a puffer than this guy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
As long as creimer can still collect second hand lottery tickets while acting as mascot you got deal.

Re: Were you born a natural asshole
Love XX,

outsmarted for real
The very word "outsmarted" has a cliche factor of 98.9%
Pretty much the whole shit-show is better covered by the old, not-the-least-bit-tired adage "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong".
The other 1.1% of "outsmarted" is brilliantly covered by Foghorn Leghorn Teaching the Art of Baseball.
