DOOM III This Summer

Crusader writes "Activision and id Software have issued a press release announcing that DOOM III will be released this summer. A Linux client has also been in development alongside the requisite Win32 version."

    I wonder how much different the final version will be from the alpha that I played so long ago.

    Which alpha? Doom, Doom II, Quake, Quake 2, or Quake 3? It's all the same game, just with progressively better graphics. It would be nice if they got their inspiration from something other than bad heavy metal album covers.

    Does anyone know where system requierments might be found / when they will be announced?

    The only requirement I can think of is getting a real computer.

    I do call BULLSHIT on the troll mod. Did I link to a Goatse.cx mirror? No. Am I a memeber of the GNAA? No. Am I right? Yes. So why the Troll mod?
