I think when my ipod inevitably dies on me I'll give the Zune player a try. That song sharing function is no different than itunes sharing function. If anything itunes is worse than Zune. If you share your itunes playlist over a network, you can listen to the music on itunes as long as the other persons copy of itunes is running, when they shut it down you can't access thier list any more. You can't even load their songs onto your ipod when their playlist is available.

They're living in a fantasy land. They claim their computers are built for doing creative things, but then the computer animation industry is run on PC's. Photoshop benchmarks better on PC's now since apple switched over to the intel chips. And that whole dillusion about being ready right out of the box is crap. My macbook spent 2 hours just doing updates the first time I turned it on. Then their big red computers and ipod cash grab for AIDS campaign is just offensive. So if I buy a red computer for $1500 they'll give $5 to the world AIDS foundation... Whereas Bill Gates is giving billions of dollars he got from his inferior and fundimentally evil products to AIDS research right out of his own pocket. That's why Apple needs to sober up.

  15. Unelected 'officials' making deciscions... on Miami Court Orders Take Two to Hand Over Bully · · Score: 1

See, up here in Canada we have an unusual legal system, it's quite different from that of the States. Basically cases like this don't make it to trial, our judges do what is called 'throwing out' a case. It's an unusual concept I know, but it works in keeping things like that RIAA fiasco from happening. Our judges know that politicians are the ones who have the power to make these big deciscions, not some morally upright jackfuck. SO... they don't deal with that shit.

  16. We need a remote punching system on Keeping Web Discussions Open, Yet Civilized? · · Score: 1

Until they develop a device where you can remotely punch somebody in the face over the internet, people are gonna continue to say whatever they want. Even then the remote punching system would wind up being abused. Since anybody who voices their opinion would wind up being punched by somebody else. The only way to avoid a scenario like that is to charge money for the punches, so if you want to hit somebody you have to mean it, maybe $20 a punch. But then you have to factor in things like potential injuries caused to whoever you punched, since they could be drinking some coffee or something and get scalded when they get slugged. Then also if the person has asteoperosis [sic] or is a hemophiliac, there's a chance of death with the system. I suppose in that case one could argue that they'd better keep a civil tounge in their head. But things don't work like that. It's an interesting prospect none the less.

OS X's GUI absolutely no different than the Windows GUI except that they feel the need to take up more screen real estate with big fancy icons, whereas they could have just written the name of the programs currently running. These people who're commiting this treason were born and raised in Canada, and are from upper class homes. They've been given all the benifits our society has to offer, they have free health care and good education and the freedom to force their wives to cover their faces in public. YET THEY'RE STILL TYRING TO KILL US! One would think that lower class inner city youths would have more reason to blow up subway stations than some upper class muslim law students.
