It's Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T).
BTW, when I was a freshman at UMR, it was 87% male, 13% female, so at least it's getting better.
I don't really think you can assume anything. Sure, they've probably addressed that issue, but just to assume that they've thought of that isn't very scientific.
And as a fellow scientist, I'm not going to trust anyone just because they're a scientist. I'll trust them when I see their data and scrutinize their assumptions.
Well, since user #1 is probably a typical/.er, and user #2 is probably the long leggy blond girl from accounting/payroll. I'm going to go hang out under #2's desk for a while. I'll see you guys later.
I got an HD-DVD player for Christmas. My first reaction was, "wow, this is really no better at all." A couple of weeks later, I got home from a long day of 3D modeling at work and decided to watch a movie. My eyes were so strained that I dusted off my old glasses that I haven't used since college and don't really need every day. I got to the HD-DVD logo and was blown away. Watching movies has almost completely changed for me.
I would agree that many people can't tell the difference, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one.
Pick up a piece of litter today: you will be doing more for humanity than anything written in a holy book.
So you think that the Bible doesn't have any good moral guidelines in it? Even if it were all a work of fiction (which I don't believe), it's still a good source of practical knowledge on how to relate to others. It's because of the Bible that I gave up 4 spring breaks in college to work in a homeless shelter, serving food and cleaning up after drug addicts instead of partying in Cancun with all of my classmates.
seven, seven-five, seven-five, seven-five, seven-an-a-quarter, seven-an-a-quarter, seven-an-a-quarter, c'mon folks, there's gotta be another slashdot n00b in the crowd today, going once, going twice, sold to the gentleman in the glasses with teh pocket protector.
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

Yeah, but does it void the spotted owl's warranty?
quad-color? meh. Let me know when they find the gene for quad damage.
I've had mine since early february 2006. I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Too bad it's not controlled by a Wii controller. Then you could just kill the sniper with the controller and avoid the air strike altogether.
I, for one, welcome our brain infesting, body-controlling overlords with their carbon nanoswords. w00tz!
did somebody say ham-sammich?
