    the US didn't pick that fight The way I remember it, the US decided that Bin Laden was resposible. They said to the Taliban "Hand him over" "Show us some evidence first" was the unreasonable reply. "Yehaaw, here we come ready or not" I don't really see how that is not picking that fight

    While I agree pretty much with what you say here, I think you might want to check on the meaning of the word "condone". I expect it's the opposite of what you imagine.

    Don't know about anyone else, but every time I've been to a hotel, they always have brand new soap bars laid out. Who would like to go to a hotel and find they have not changed the soap?
