We as a society (U.S. point of view, here) have agreed that copyright law is necessary to support copyright owners and their desire to pursue their creative outlets full time as well as part time.
Just because someone enjoys doing something is not a reason they should be excluded from remuneration for their efforts. To reduce potential sales is considered causing a loss in many judicial systems and piracy falls under this reasoning. At the extreme end of the argument, copying without permission or compensation is analogous to enslavement.
Unfortunately we seem to sometimes use situational ethics or morals dependent on a combination of the value the copyright owner places on their work and the value the consumer places on the work mixed with available consumer purchasing ability (money or credit on hand). The extent to which these values conflict can make the decision to copy without compensation more or less "situational".
That was because some people who said "I prefer Intel over AMD" did so without a cogent, technical argument.
I am certain there were many who stated their preference due to cooler operating temperatures, higher frequencies, etc..., but the irritants were the ones who were stuck on Intel because "that's how their daddy voted....."
Your attack is in calling the parent post a "rant". It is a well known, inflammatory term. QFT:
Do you have a file of these rants premade,...?
You further degrade your "moral position" by denying any responsibility you have for your own words. (Not all cultures agree that the burden of understanding lies solely with the listener.) QFT:
...Any negative intentions you read in my post are put there by you.
(And, yes, I understand the subtle implications of posting this here rather than sending you a private email or message. I will state that my intentions are not to take sides, but to merely educate all who read this posting as to possible results of word choices. However, I will also concede that it is possible to interpret this posting as an attack on you personally, your point of view, etc.....)
It wouldn't be so bad if the shit they were shitting wasn't the output of dysentery and they didn't insist on using our ears as toilets and making us pay for the privilege.
Independent wheel speed control is possible without an individual motor for each wheel. Think active differentials mixed with independent wheel braking.
No, the problem is that evolution is given undue weight in the biological sciences and is often represented as fact when it is still just theory. An additional problem (compounded by misrepresenting evolution as fact instead of theory) is that it has been allowed to supplant the position of "creator" by those who practice the humanist religion.
The point is that eventually it won't matter. Put the responsibility for all file stuff with the storage device. Just have a sufficiently standardized API and quick enough connection to it.
The idea behind it is that specialized "application" processors in architected groups will comprise an "operating system" of sorts married with hardware that will be quicker than a generalized computer with a monolithic OS.
I saw some sort of live tribute he did for some soldiers. Some lady in uniform asked him how many women he has slept with and he proceeded to whisper in her ear. She shouted "Oh my God!" or something like that and Gene proceeded to vomit some sort of putrid mis-quote of the Bible about how he is a religious man and has to "spread his seed."
I get the impression that everyone on the planet now is less than 7 degrees of separation from him....

Turns out that owning prosthetic legs does have its own Achilles' heel...

Companies don't get in trouble for being a monopoly. They get in trouble for abusing monopoly power.

I leave each of you with words of wisdom:

For anything more than data acquisition usable by monkeys ... drop LabView and run screaming....

The summary's sentence structure was such that I couldn't tell whether they were trying to indicate a "sold-out" or "sold from" status.
I actually had to read other articles on the issue to find that WM had indeed "sold-out" of the item.
This is because of the cost of printed music vs. typical musician income.
WHOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!
"sold out of stores"
Poor choice of words in the summary.
"sold in brick and mortar WalMarts" would be better. (assuming my spelling is ok)
