That's due to over 90% of them are regurgitated AP feeds. I was in favor of AP forcing google to filter out there copyrighted AP stories and was hoping AP and google did not streak a deal. But they did.:-( Would have been nice to have a short list of oredgenale reporting stories.
I just looked at the xkcd home page redone in geocities style. That is one talented web master to create a home page that managed to mimics every detail of what was bad about geocities web pages. Even right down to the x10 ad.:-)
Is this new standard water resistant? It has to be if it ever gets to military devices. I always though the Apple MAC power connector could easy be water resistant just by sealing the edges around where the connector meets the body during assembly. Just think, expanding that could have a universal connector for mobile devices that can survive a dunk in the pool or toilet.
Appropriate charges should have been filed. Its no different then snail mail or saying those words in the face. Whatever charges that cab apply to anyone that talks someone into killing themselves knowing it was going to work should have charges files. Manslaughter or similar I think.
Wow, this may be the ticket to get politicians to pass some anti-spam laws with real teeth to them. All politicians want to look good. Looking like they are saving the environment is a good cause.
If the margin of victory was greater then 2 percent, then it should be non-issue as far as who is in office. But it should be fixed for the next election.
To do a simple config change that requires adding a file but don't want to go though the entire process of creating a patch file. One can do this within the shell script.
What about new type of commutations that we have not invented yet? Its possible they are communicating all over the place but we can't hear them yet because we don't have the technology to hear them yet.
Don't forget that compact CFL put out a ton of UV light that will fade anything in the house that isn't automotive rated. Just look around the room and visualize the room was outdoors in the sun for a year and that fade you will get using CFL. Artwork hanging on the wall will get the most damaged.
I bet they worked due to all the steel reflecting the radio singles to where you was. While VHF will not work, UHF and higher frequencies are used by construction companies due to the fact they work in steel structures.
The child can not say no to grandma violating the most sensitive spot of there body. So that means they can not say no to there uncle that what to touch a less sensitive area.
For the clueless, parents have been training children they can not say "no" to the uncle that want to rub in between there legs.
Now I can educate the parents without mortifying them by using this virus as a excuse. This is a good thing overall.
At least they got one part right, "to eliminate data loss caused by noise". The digital single is still analog, it just carries data instead of an analog. That single is still suspect to noise that can cause data loss. On most system, you can't tell due to hardware handling it properly and tries to compensate for it. For digital interconnect cables, the 50 cent ones are bad due to no shielding and poor quality control, the $1 to $10 ones are best, $10 and up is just wasting your money unless its a very long run, like 100 feet or so.
This story is about to fall off the front page with about 10 comments.
If you think about it, you understand why it troublesome.
Shouldn't there be about 100 or so comments?
Its as though no one care about privacy.
That would be a good way to protest. Go to vote and place that sticker on the machine. Get a few to do to it to modify all the machines in the voting place.
With everyone complaining about DRM in games and so on. Having a major company complaining about it will fuel the fire to convince publishers that DRM is bad. Being this is an internal document that wasn't supposed to "leak", it has more creditably then publicly announcing it and still have creditably with the publishers. Meaning they won't get "punished" for speaking out against DRM.
If you read the article,
"Right now, we do not have OpenGL support but will be working to release it soon".
So when it hits the shelves for purchase, opengl games, including Linux games, will work out of the box.
One opengl game, Secondlife was modified for 3D by University of Michigan. http://um3d.dc.umich.edu/software/second_life/https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2972

Why higher temps? Google should be demanding chips that run cooler. Cooler running chips save more money then running a data center at a higher temp.
