Ah, because the problem is not putting more manpower on the job, but putting less. Right now there's a overpopulation on the project. Notice how many people work on Vista and how many on Mac OS X (ignoring for a moment the BSD userspace tools). More manpower != better results.
Totally sidestepping the morale aspect of what you've written, i have one thing to say: give me my e-paper first! And i mean a GOOD reader, not the crap that sony makes. No, reading it in a chair half a meter away from my LCD is not comforty. Reading it from a laptop is not comforty either (my back hurts enough already). Once i get a e-paper reader that has acceptable quality i can begin to think about e-books.
Also, writing a book is not as easy as making a pop song. You can't automate plot like beats.
An escapist one - that they're working on doing something that would allow one use this stuff where the laws didn't apply, or even in the US if they have a license (froms some windows software for example).
Umm, i already asked Shuttleworth fir this, and I'm gonna repeat the question here: Why is ALWAYS that the rest of the world should suffer for the poor laws made in the US ? Why dpes Debian ask me if I want to install a piece that may infringe on some US patent laws, instead of just installing it and saying that if I'm in the US i should uninstall this piece of software because i have crappy laws? Seriously, it's NOT all about you Americans.
Umm, the Net-MD was a _CATASTROPHY_ last time i knew - and i knew because i had just about every generation of MD portable recorders up to N707. The simply awfull SonicStage, the lack of record-and-transfer-over-USB, Windows Only, totally propietary MagicGate. I mean EVERYTHING about the Net in the MD sucked donkey balls! Things _may_ have changed for the better with HighMD, but after the initial fuck-up i didn't ever want to look at MD again. My Colour 4G iPod with Linux onboard can do just as well.
No, what i mean is there are so much more of bad Christians than bad muslims, at least throught my life there was always like that (and i have lived in Lebanon, Syria and Angola - was working as a UN troop). There ratio good/bad muslim is so much better than good/bad christian.
I agree. The problem is - there's so much more of them. Also, the shooting case was a bit extreme. What i reather meant was something in the lines of social alienation - kinda like the crazed teacher in Donnie Darko. You all know what i mean - i just can't really express with words these kind of people;]
It's curious though how the religious _always_ explain the oppression thru some good of the religion. And yes, Chrisitans are the worst - "The devil is upon thee! - Let me clense you of the sins brother!" Then he shoots you.
Am i the only ones that used a Siemens SX1 to it's full extent? Listening to MP3's or Ogg files! It was one of the first phones to have this feature! Also, from what i understand you want the people to listen to this music using the built-in speaker? What have you been smoking? The mobiles have, like ANY portable music device - earbuds! Even more, the earbuds have a microphone dongle on the part of the cable thats closest to the neck, so that if youre listening, and someone calls you can press a button, the music pauses and you talk to the person. When the call ends the music resumes!
I can't even count the number of times i missed the call because i couldnt feel the vibra (and if your phone is ringing and youre not answering it you like like a dumbass from most peoples perspective).
First you have Senuti http://fadingred.org/senuti/ on Windows and OSX, and for Windows i recall at least one more, but can't remember the name. For Linux allmost ALL of the jukeboxes support the iPod (Amarok, Rhythmbox, Banshee, Listen just to name a few). So no, iTunes is not mandatory either.
> But Windows XP is supposed to run just fine on a system with 512mb (ducks, runs for cover).
Sir, I've been running XP on 128MB for YEARS, and it was a-ok if i knew not to run mozilla (no firefox yet at that time) with 50 tabs, Photoshop and at the same time. As time passed i upgraded to 256 then 512, then 1GB as i have it now.The 512 -> 1GB upgrade was _only_ for Oblivion.
Sure with 128MB, some swapping occured. But saying that 512 is not enough for XP is a blatant lie.
I was playing Super Smash Bros with my GF, and then she dropped the controller on the ground when the tellie rang. Then she came back and we played some more. Next day i was playing Metroid with that controller, and noticed that something was just NOT right. Took me about 5 minutes to realize the vibration is no longer there, and from there on the gaming experience was so much worse, since i couldn't feel if i for example completed overloading my gun or made the jump right without looking specifically at the gun or the sourrounding instead at the nearest enemy. Not to idealize but most Nintendo games get vibration right, and i mean right as you don't take notice they are there before you loose vibration. Back when i had the PS2 i also thought the vibartion sucks. Either there was a lot of it (think any Tekken - with a head punch the vibratorswould go on a all-scale frenzy) or there was this low barely-vibrating hum on the right vibrator (this would correspond to the low-sine wave on the PC implementation of FF). This probably has to do with Sony thinking that two vibrators (one small and one large) are better than one.

Well not only it's news to me, it's also news to these guys that apparently work over there:, industrynews/article.html (go to #8).

Also, I'm somewhat reluctant to treat PS3 as "Innovative".. well, maybe except the Massive Crab Damage...
I for one wish to welcome our new garage opening Overlords!

Umm, yes. Please remind me the place and time when Linus started developing the kernel...?

Welcome to the world of tommorow!

Or they could just use QuodLibet (or any other Tagger out there). And if they find that the info is wrong, they can always use MusicBrainz!
Umm, you are so wrong sir.

I am not an atomic playboy!
I would believe that having a non-parity CPU setup is impossible, because of potential timing issues. But i may be wrong.

Unless something like GIF2000 comes round.
Ah, my bad. I thought the parent was talking about Firefox for DS.
Not really a problem, either use a PassMe card which takes care of the signing process, or use Linux for the DS.
Blame the developer!

When some level is named "The Library" you just know it has to be bad..
> Please explain how a license can "crumble".
What GP means, is that it can in parts become out of date.
Same way as some biblical stuff is out of date now ("thou shall not eat pork"-stuff).
Wrong, they callem them "pomme frites" (potato fries)
